Delivery driver threatening calls

Rang twice after food was late to see how much longer. Told on their way both times. By the time it got to us the food was cold and not worth eating.

Pizza, 2 burgers turned up cold. chicken kebab was luke warm. i understand that sanchos was shut so you were very busy but still expect better

maked as delivered at least 20 minutes before it was delivered. when it did arrive its was all cold and soggy. it all went in the bin. I would even left my dog eat it!

Very disappointed wont be buying again

The kids meal portions were tiny and the pizzas were smaller than they used to be. Very overpriced for what it was unfortunately

Small portions cold food missing 1 chicken wing in my meal yes I counted them soggy chippies and they came to the wrong house I had to call them back even tho my notes specifically said exactly where

The food was okay, drink weren’t delivered and the order was very late.

We waited nearly 2 hours for food and what turned was inedible. everything was barely warm, the chicken was rubbery, wrap was soggy and bun was falling apart.

waited 2.5hrs and delivery never showed up despite calling and messaging.

did not vet the drinks we ordered. food was cold chips soggy. All in all very disappointing 😞

It’s was good but there was more garlic butter in the bag than in the pot

Failed to read I asked for no tomato and no ketchup on a kebab as my partner is allergic then downsizes the replacement to a small kebab but doesn't give me any compensation and still charges me for a large one

You sell popcorn chicken for £6 for 6 of the most tiniest bits of chicken ever. Shame I can’t attach a photo, what an absolute joke! The kids meals gets 6 pieces of chicken and we’re decent sized. Would be better off buying a kids meal as you’d get more food 🤦🏽‍♀️ all came cold, the drinks were missing so driver had to come back. Not the first time things were missing. I didn’t expect to pay out £60 for cold, tiny portions of food. This will be my last time ordering, shame the grill used to be great

Very average food, early delivery but didn’t notify us until after we’d finished that the food was “on its way”

Ordered banofi pie and got a frozen chocolate dessert. Cheesecake came also frozen

Always very enjoyable. Always hot when delivered.

Burger pattie was nice but onions were under cooked, whereas the chips were overcooked but oddly only just warm.

Hands down tastiest and freshest kebab in town. Yum yum! Can't fault it. Always accommodating to any changes or requests.

Item was missing from my order. Spoke to the restaurant and was told they would deliver it shortly but no one ever came back.

Food is usually very good. One thing they need to take note of is the salad, particularlythe lettuce. I've been ill 4 times now, after having their salad. It arrives warm & I think it's because it is left out on show in the restaurant, which isn't refrigerated. I will never eat the salad again, as it has given me a bad stomach all the following day. Once is too much, but four times???

It was ordered for delivery at 19.55 and arrived at 20.25. I had to chase to find out. This is the second time in 2 weeks that my order has been over 25 mins late!

Order was placed at 19:05, with an estimated delivery time of 19:45 to 20:05. Phoned 3 times for an update - nobody answered the phone. Then requested an update through the app and was told the food would be here by 20:30. The driver finally phoned at 21:00 hrs to say that he couldn’t find the house, where I requested that he did not deliver and instead gave us a refund. Eventually he found the house anyway. Food is cold. Very disappointed with quality of food & customer service. Full refund ole

Driver didn’t find us in good time so the food was colder than it should be sadly, the driver was also not too helpful so would think twice about ordering from them again

My order was okay but very cold once arrived, I understand I ordered later into the night but no excuse to have a cold burger and a kabab was to cold and chewy. Couldn’t eat that waste of £18 if you ask me

Food was fantastic. One item was missing from the order but have obtained a credit so it's all good.

Really small portion sizes considering the prices

Cheesy chips - cold (had to microwave. That messed up the cheese). Burger barely warm (Ate it as was didn't want to risk microwave). Wings (hot enough). When I tried to remove the order from the paper bag it disintegrated as it was so soggy due to the condensation of the contents cooling down (only fast reactions stopped it all going on the floor). I will not be purchasing from The Grill on Friday evenings or at weekends again.

The chips were ice cold, ordered medium chicken kebab and lamb one. Even after paying more for the the chicken one it came half the size of the lamb one. Not worth the price

Never had any reason in the past to write a negative review!! But to receive chicken burgers that the bun tasted stale and the chips were cold and like cardboard is really beyond any acceptable standards!! Made several orders with The Grill in the past and never had any issues at all but this has left me more annoyed than satisfied and would question if I would order again!!

Ordered my food 70 mins before - this was to allow enough time. Food arrived 25 mins late, was tepid and the potato wedges were hard. I had also asked for a strawberry cheesecake, which was frozen and could not be eaten

They asked for delivery charge of £4 on arrival even though they advertise delivery as free on just eat. My order also arrived without chips that I ordered

Delivered right on the earliest time (20:55) and still nice and hot. Also delivered the correct drinks as ordered this time.

Also received a bottle of Pepsi not the Coke I actually ordered.

The time of our order was changed to a later time from their end for starters, once the food arrived it was all cold. The chips were crunchy and stone cold, completely inedible!!!! My doner meat was all hard and cold also, aswell as my wife’s. My sons burger was luke warm at best and his chips were also stone cold, crunchy and hard.

It was dry and no dip and gresse

Not sure what’s happened to the grill used to be good.prices have gone up.quality has gone down.cold food bits missing.dissatisfied and disappointing will not be wasting my money here again.avoid unless you like feeling robbed

Only a minute past the end of the delivery window but everything was stone cold. However, we reheated it and it was very tasty, so if you have the means to reheat if necessary it’s good!

Food late and no explanation. Said it had been delivered when it hadn’t. Food cold and not very nice. Cheese and bacon burger had 1 single piece of bacon that didn’t even cover the burger. Chips cold but edible. Chicken wrap okay, chilli marinade on chicken even tho requested plain with garlic sauce. Won’t order from here again as simply ridiculous wait for food (1.5 hours) for cold, basic food. Not worth the money.

The chicken kebab wrap I cut my mouth on a sharp bone and checked the wrap and found 5 bones! The chicken pieces were very dry only 2 had been eaten out of 5. The kids pizzas and the cheesy chips were cold the cheese was cold and thick. £54 sadly wasted

We have had many meals from here - always great - yesterday night not so - he did apologise - the chicken burger was awful and it was not cheap - all the chips were hard and not really edible - we had guests and it was embarrassing- also 20 mins late not 5 as it reverts back to 5

We love buying from the Grill. My daughter always requests the chips to be extra crispy and they always deliver. Food is always amazing and you are left stuffed as the portions are huge 😄

Usually pizzas from here are great. Although this time I paid £4 for stuffed crust but when I got the pizza the entire crust was hollow. I didn’t call to tell them this as I didn’t want to wait any longer for food. The pizza tasted great but didn’t get what I paid for. Probably just human error. First time this has happened as usually really good.

Poor quality food delivered cold and 30 min late. Promised refund. I doubt they can arrange that. Avoid.

This place is consistently disappointing, and their customer service is awful. The food is almost always cold, wrong or missing something, and on this occasion it was all of those things. I did not even bother calling them back because I'd be waiting another hour for them to correct it. I would recommend going somewhere else.

The delivery driver didn't understand the CLEAR instructions (to the REAR of the tea rooms) and got lost wandering around the farm so had to go and find him. Just eat said I could have the delivery at 12.45 - however the restaurant said 13.15 but didn't deliver until 13.45! Starving so hope it's nice. But it looks good.

Tried the grill for the first time today, ordered a large mixed kebab. Sadly disappointing. The cheapest kebab in Uckfield but really not generous portions of meat and even the salad is really small- all made with no care and probably the equivalent of most small kebabs available elsewhere.

I ordered two large chips and got given two small ones. I could tell they were small as I have ordered from this restaurant before in person last week. I am very disappointed in this outcome as I feel I have payed too much money for very little food

Most horrible place very rude staff member said food wasn't cold he prepared it himself food arrived cold and was given a small kebab instead of large I had a delivery and he told me to take it back to the shop

Once again The Grill have been late delivering our order! I ordered it at 5pm for delivery at 7.30pm. I stopped using them for some time because of late deliveries and foolishly gave them another chance! I won't be bothering again. There wasn't even an apology from the delivery guy for being so late! The food was ok although the feta was tasteless, infact the whole "Greek" salad was disappointing.

Normally order from sancho but wanted a change. Was cheaper cooked properly and delivered ontime very impressed and will use again
