The Grill in Wealden

Actually quite shocked. The pizza was not cooked properly at all. The base was all gloopy and doughy & the cheese wasn’t even melted properly on top, let alone cooked enough to get crispy. Was inedible & a complete waste of money.

The food was delivered on time and was excellent.

Food was cold. Delivery was late.

The food I ordered did not have all the correct contents. I ordered two Donner burgers and neither of the burgers came with donner meat

Food was lovely and still warm however delivery was a joke spoke to the restaurant via phone call and they did in fact contact the delivery guy. I’d say order from here if you have the time to wait if you want someone asap I don’t recommend it with the delivery times. Check their google reviews too everyone’s saying the same things unfortunately but again the food was lovely

i ordered 3 meat kebab but only got 2 meat kebab.

Quality food cooked perfectly. Delivery always exceptional. Driver well he was ok. Had initial issue with order which was delt with by professional staff and ironed out quickly. Very happy

Do other places in town sell pizza? Sure. Am I going to order one from there? Absolutely not. To me there is something about a Grill pizza, to me it's made different, better. It tastes like a pizza should not some mass produced thing you get half way through and wonder why you spent £25 on it. It's fresh, hot and made by people who know what a pizza tastes like. Added bonus! it doesn't set like concrete in my stomach like some boardgame pizzas do. I could go on but I'll just say I got a piping hot 14" Afterburner pizza delivered 20 mins after ordering on a Friday night, what more could you ask for?

Food was lovely and a good size but there was a food sticker in one of our kebabs.

the grill very nice bit put chilli sauce on my kebab instead of mayo and my friend asked for no sauce and had chili on her kebab

Called to check on our delivery order as we were expecting it at 10.15pm called at 10.30pm to be told our order had been cancelled as too late (ordered at 9.20pm) but with no confirmation that it was cancelled .. absolutely fine ordered food via another company 10 minutes later the poor delivery driver arrived with our original order after being told it was cancelled we were greated with a hostile response via the telephone call

When ever we order stuff from here something is always cold especially chips. I think that's why we go somewhere else 🤔 😏 😕

Missed off the halloumi I added with my chicken Donna and chips 🙄. Usually the grill very good but dropped the ball on this one tonight. I’ll be getting back that additional £2.50 I paid at the very least. Foods always been good though.

Ordered at 6.45pm called them at 7.30pm was told it will be another hour, then someone else said it will be 25mins. Extremely rude staff on the phone. Cancelled my order and never got a refund as they have made out to just eat thru have delivered it! Will never use this place again. Avoid at all costs!

If you order the day before you want your delivery you may receive it in time. Very disappointed as love the food but service has been awful the last couple times.

It said before I ordered the food it would be a 35/50 min wait then when I ordered and paid for it, it was an hour 30 mins for delivery and it was still late and the food wasn’t even luke warm the chips was like rubber it wasn’t pleasant. No apology

Great food but delivery time was about 90 minutes.

Rang twice after food was late to see how much longer. Told on their way both times. By the time it got to us the food was cold and not worth eating.

maked as delivered at least 20 minutes before it was delivered. when it did arrive its was all cold and soggy. it all went in the bin. I would even left my dog eat it!

Pizza, 2 burgers turned up cold. chicken kebab was luke warm. i understand that sanchos was shut so you were very busy but still expect better

The kids meal portions were tiny and the pizzas were smaller than they used to be. Very overpriced for what it was unfortunately

We waited nearly 2 hours for food and what turned was inedible. everything was barely warm, the chicken was rubbery, wrap was soggy and bun was falling apart.

Failed to read I asked for no tomato and no ketchup on a kebab as my partner is allergic then downsizes the replacement to a small kebab but doesn't give me any compensation and still charges me for a large one

You sell popcorn chicken for £6 for 6 of the most tiniest bits of chicken ever. Shame I can’t attach a photo, what an absolute joke! The kids meals gets 6 pieces of chicken and we’re decent sized. Would be better off buying a kids meal as you’d get more food 🤦🏽‍♀️ all came cold, the drinks were missing so driver had to come back. Not the first time things were missing. I didn’t expect to pay out £60 for cold, tiny portions of food. This will be my last time ordering, shame the grill used to be great

Very average food, early delivery but didn’t notify us until after we’d finished that the food was “on its way”

Ordered banofi pie and got a frozen chocolate dessert. Cheesecake came also frozen

Burger pattie was nice but onions were under cooked, whereas the chips were overcooked but oddly only just warm.

Hands down tastiest and freshest kebab in town. Yum yum! Can't fault it. Always accommodating to any changes or requests.

Item was missing from my order. Spoke to the restaurant and was told they would deliver it shortly but no one ever came back.

Food is usually very good. One thing they need to take note of is the salad, particularlythe lettuce. I've been ill 4 times now, after having their salad. It arrives warm & I think it's because it is left out on show in the restaurant, which isn't refrigerated. I will never eat the salad again, as it has given me a bad stomach all the following day. Once is too much, but four times???

It was ordered for delivery at 19.55 and arrived at 20.25. I had to chase to find out. This is the second time in 2 weeks that my order has been over 25 mins late!

Order was placed at 19:05, with an estimated delivery time of 19:45 to 20:05. Phoned 3 times for an update - nobody answered the phone. Then requested an update through the app and was told the food would be here by 20:30. The driver finally phoned at 21:00 hrs to say that he couldn’t find the house, where I requested that he did not deliver and instead gave us a refund. Eventually he found the house anyway. Food is cold. Very disappointed with quality of food & customer service. Full refund ole

Driver didn’t find us in good time so the food was colder than it should be sadly, the driver was also not too helpful so would think twice about ordering from them again

My order was okay but very cold once arrived, I understand I ordered later into the night but no excuse to have a cold burger and a kabab was to cold and chewy. Couldn’t eat that waste of £18 if you ask me

Food was fantastic. One item was missing from the order but have obtained a credit so it's all good.

Really small portion sizes considering the prices

Cheesy chips - cold (had to microwave. That messed up the cheese). Burger barely warm (Ate it as was didn't want to risk microwave). Wings (hot enough). When I tried to remove the order from the paper bag it disintegrated as it was so soggy due to the condensation of the contents cooling down (only fast reactions stopped it all going on the floor). I will not be purchasing from The Grill on Friday evenings or at weekends again.

Late and barely warm on arrival. Forgot drink with kids meal.

The chips were ice cold, ordered medium chicken kebab and lamb one. Even after paying more for the the chicken one it came half the size of the lamb one. Not worth the price

Never had any reason in the past to write a negative review!! But to receive chicken burgers that the bun tasted stale and the chips were cold and like cardboard is really beyond any acceptable standards!! Made several orders with The Grill in the past and never had any issues at all but this has left me more annoyed than satisfied and would question if I would order again!!

Ordered my food 70 mins before - this was to allow enough time. Food arrived 25 mins late, was tepid and the potato wedges were hard. I had also asked for a strawberry cheesecake, which was frozen and could not be eaten

They asked for delivery charge of £4 on arrival even though they advertise delivery as free on just eat. My order also arrived without chips that I ordered

Delivered right on the earliest time (20:55) and still nice and hot. Also delivered the correct drinks as ordered this time.

Also received a bottle of Pepsi not the Coke I actually ordered.

The time of our order was changed to a later time from their end for starters, once the food arrived it was all cold. The chips were crunchy and stone cold, completely inedible!!!! My doner meat was all hard and cold also, aswell as my wife’s. My sons burger was luke warm at best and his chips were also stone cold, crunchy and hard.

It was dry and no dip and gresse

One of the pizzas was missing the pepperoni it was supposed to have. Otherwise all good
