The Greyhound in Stoke-on-Trent

Can’t go wrong with a Titanic pub. Don’t think I’ve been in a bad one. Been into The Greyhound a few times now and always pleasant bar staff on. Plum Porter was just incredible again!

No wonderful so we had a drink and went elsewhere.

A lovely pint of cask ale and plenty of bar snacks available...a Titanic Brewery Tap

The 2 guys behind the bar were excellent, both informative and welcoming. Very friendly atmosphere.

Spent time with friends in preparation for their daughters wedding. Crowded room, plenty of seats in the pub. Laid on sandwiches, ok. Friendly staff.

Nice to come here again after a few years. The Titanic Iceberg was in excellent condition., and a good range of Titanic beers on cask and keg, including some new beers.

A super old style pub. No loud music. No diners. Just beer and chat. It's a Titanic pub, so great beer.

Quick stop with some parking nearby for a bike.

Friendly place with good selection of beers worth a visit. Also seen some good bands play which really ups the atmosphere, worth looking in advance for local bands

Ok vibe. Won’t rush back. Probably cos there were no spare seats and my partner doesn’t like it for some reason. It helps if you like Titanic beer. Might sit outside in the summer. Not sure what it is missing.

Lovely cosy community pub. Personally not keen on Titanic beers but lots of other choice. Difficult to see live music here but at least there is the option. Have loved it for years.

Looked forward to a really nice meal having been recommended. However if you like pepper corn, sauce great if not avoid at all costs ruined my my steak and evening. Unfortunately will not be visiting again

It was my first visit and to be honest I thought it was an hairdressers as I walked up to the door, but a lovely relaxing place and no mad music just good conversation and nice beers.

Booked the Greyhound back room for our sons 40th and absolutely loved the place. Great beers, lovely food and made to feel really welcome. Spotlessly clean and everything to praise and nothing to fault.

Best pub for miles around! If you like Titanic ales, this is the place to go. Great conversations, great staff. Just watch out for Charlie though!

Good solid local, Titanic local brew on tap, recommend the white star

The drinks were OK but the snow flake behind the bar offended by breathing not so much. Also the Rolf Harris tribute was a bit unsettling but I think he works there.

Really comfortable pub. Mike, the landlord knows his beers & always has a great selection of guests & Titanic favourites. Titanic Plum Porter is epic for anyone who hasn't tried it. Even better, if on (as it is a seasonal), is the Plum Porter Grand Reserve - @ 6.5% it's not for the faint hearted, but is arguably one of the best beers of all time.

Popped in for a light lunch. We had a cheese and pickle sandwich and a burger with chips. Food came quickly we didn't leave any so must of been good. I must mention the young lady who served us, I didn't get a name but she was young with short dark hair and glasses. What a lovely pleasant lady, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you.

My declaration of mask exemption was met with a sigh of "fair enough" by the bar person. I was then asked what I would like to drink and served. 20 minutes later, what I can only assume was the landlord appeared to try to make me put on a mask whilst I was sitting drinking my pint! On reflection a mask would have probably been a good idea, due to the personal hygiene of the aforementioned bar person. Will not be returning.

Only had Titanic or Everards Tiger on when they usually have a couple of guests which I would have had.Staff both chatty and efficient.Great pub if you like Titanic beer but sadly I don't.

Dingy pub, bad service, and rude staff who got annoyed at us for asking if we could pay separately and wouldn't let us open a tab. The only saving grace for this place was the barmaid that greeted us on entry who seemed polite.

Loving the table service and CV19 measures - excellent. Also liked how the staff are enforcing the CV19 regulations - very reassuring. 😊

This place is ok but the staff have an obsession with getting involved in your conversation if you're swearing and ask you to stop.

A place with a beautiful and atmospheric decor, as well as a wide selection of beer. I recommend!

Filthy place. Mould all over the window frames had half and quickly left. It pains me as I am quite a titanic fan but this place is the pits. Avoid.

Its the Greyhound. How can anyone critisise Mike? He remembers his customers and keeps a perfect cellar.

Currently in the greyhound pub, My concern was the personal hygiene and habits of the staff member that served me. 1st of all he wiped his hand across his nose and face and then transferred whatever he had managed to collect across his t-shirt then whilst waiting for the pump to be free he then ran his hands through his hair !! After 13 years in a food environment and fully qualified in food and hygiene regulations to distinction level in food and haccp it was painfully obvious that this young chap should be trained that he needs to wash his hands !!!
