Superb meal just ordered and swiftly ate. Great pricing and superb range of food. The chips were a little underdone, but given the concoction of ingredients mixed in it wasn’t very noticeable and the rest was very nice. Huge portion as well - which for the price is very much appreciated! Thanks!

I visited first time Fins & Fry’s. I was not a fish & chips lover but from I am. I ordered Masala fish that was really delicious. Definitely recommend The Masala Fish ( spicy ).

I really wanted to like this, but... I asked for curry sauce and was given gravy, all over the fish and chips. I didn't like the gravy itself, and why anyone would want it all over the fish is beyond me. Disappointed to find 4 big bones in the fish, couldn't bring myself to eat the rest of the soggy mess before me. Big portion, but not nice IMO.

Very clean, my daughter loves the chips. The only thing I'd say is wish they did a vegetarian pie or burger, otherwise brilliant place with yummy chips.

This has become our new regular takeaway! Great food, reasonable prices and they are happy, friendly guys. Food is always hot and haven't had an issue at all! Could not recommend more.

Credit where credit is due. Absolutely outstanding food. The chips are how chips used to be, tasty, proper potatoes fried to perfection and the burger was one of the best I've had from anywhere. A juicy tasty burger with a great build of toppings and the SFC was perfect, succulent and not too salty. Friendly service and spotless establishment. I won't be going anywhere else from now on.

Ordered from here a few time now and never disappointed. Burgers are amazing and chips are tasty, other half loves the loaded chips. Only thing I would change is there's no option to skip the sauce option on the value boxes or kebabs, not everyone wants sauce so hopefully they add an option of no sauce to the list in future

Shocking place, kept charging the wrong amount when you clearly say the order and sold me a funny tasting sausage must have been a day old. How hard is it to listen to someone say a order and get it right. Seem obessed with you keep speaking to them. Take the order, serve the food aslong as its good simple as. Needs shutting down.

Well from writing a glowing review when these guys first opened to total disappointment the last 2 times i have had fish they have been disgusting the batter rock hard the fish rubbery i dont know what you have changed but what ever it is i sharnt be buying fish from you any time soon sorry to say

I have never left a review re restaurants takeaways etc however I have to say I’ve just had the best fish and chips locally for well I really can’t remember the actual number of years ago including in coastal towns.Please don’t drop your standards brilliant

Been here a few times in the last few months, probably the best chips in the area, taste like a real fish and chip shop by the sea. The kebabs are fresh and of great quality. I have to say it’s the first fish and chip shop/kebab shop that has ever phoned us after they deliver to make sure the food was ok. I cannot recommend enough.

I tried these: Cod bites- masala and battered Smash royal burger Asian grilled burger Cluck-n-cow burger Buffalo wings Loaded masala chips

Kebabs were outstanding, fresh and delicious. The chicken strips were ridiculously salty but cooked to perfection. The scampi that claimed to be wholetail was reformed crap that was disgusting.

First time I have used fins n frys. Absolutely lovely, good service excellent food. All food hot, ordered small fish chips and peas x3 and it was huge.Very tasty and brilliant value for money. Will be using again for defo.

Just received my food it was tasteless also didn't receive my sons food I rang them and got shouted at over the phone and told to come to the shop because I'm a big man absolutely disgusting service and poor customer service and the food I wouldn't feed to my dog really disappointed

We called in here last night!!! Never again!! We waited 20 minutes for chips & chicken which were all ready cooked!! Too busy doing online orders!! The shop was full of smoke and fumes as the extractor fan wasn't working!!! The chips were try and not cooked well at all, I asked for Sfc breast and when home it turned out to be the worst piece of thigh we’d ever seen!!! My son & daughter ended up binning the meals!! Waste of money will never go again and would definitely not recommend the chip shop!!! I ended up taking my kids McDonalds for there tea. 5 staff on 1 working!!

I never had no Fish and Chips from the old name shop but you started popping up on my Facebook news feed since the name change and I thought I would give it a go as we can't get any restaurant to deliver Fish and Chips to Stableford static caravan park because we are a little bit out the way . If you look at my reviews on Google websites and Facebook pages I've never really given any bad reviews but whoever is cooking this and thinking this is good or even acceptable needs sacking . it's probably the worst Fish and Chips I've ever had in my life . Chips with no colour and flavour and the fish was a slither of white fish surrounded by lots of greasy not very nice tasting batter and for nearly £17 it was horrendous . I hate to do this on social media or anywhere but you ain't gonna get better if your not told straight .

Ordered a small fish, large chips and curry sauce to be delivered to my house. The delivery man was very nice and my food came hot. Great portion sizes and the batter on the fish was nice and crispy! I’d order there again.

This is where we had lunch after visiting a nearby crockery outlet. I had fish and chips that were really cheap and delicious. The owner was really friendly and in addition to the children's menu and fish and chips, there were various menu items such as chicken and kebabs. I was craving beer, but the thick fish and chips are really great. Be sure to add the pea sauce and gravy and sprinkle a lot of vinegar!

I ordered a delivery of cod and chips it took about 35 mins from order to delivery ,food was well packaged up.The fish was delicious ,will have to eat the chips later 😊

Last night we ordered cod in breadcrumbs and chips. I can honestly say the fish tasted delicious cooked to perfection. The chips also tasted so good. The fish and chips were delivered on time, by a very pleasant, courteous driver. Fins and Frys is the best chip shop, and I will order again.

The fish was perfectly cooked, beautiful flakes and crispy exterior. Chips are you traditional chip shop style. Portion sizes are HUGE, large is enough for three. Definitely recommend the milkshakes. They have some lovely tables inside if you want to eat there or sit while waiting. Staff are very friendly. Saw them preparing fish, looked professional and they cooked everything fresh. Will definitely go again (have lots of left overs to go through first).

Dont really like ordering from new takeaways, usually end up so disappointed but im so glad we ordered from here. Everything came nice and hot, considering we were in blurton. We decided to get a mixture of things see what it was like..... OMG! SUPERB! never in my life have i been shocked by food. It usually just goes down but i actually really enjoyed it to the point i rang them up and thanked them! Dont get me wrong the portions weren't like some places heaped and tasteless, im a big eater but these were satisfying and very enjoyable.The Prices were also reasonable compared to others in the area. Trust me the fish bites, burgers and something as simple as massala chips in a wrap! Wow! If you like a little heat.... banging!! Obviously its personal preference with everyone but this was the best meal ive had in a long time from a chippy thank you so much. Hope you continue to produce top class food in the future. Youve gained a new customer!

Last night, I visited Fins and Fry's. The shop was bustling, and the food I got was warm and crispy, especially the fish. The staff was very friendly, which made for a quite impressive experience.

I had an amazing experience at Fins n Fry's food(Fish, Chicken kabab, chips)was incredibly delicious and so fresh that every bite was bursting with flavor. The variety of dishes was impressive, and everything we tried was prepared to perfection. On top of the fantastic food, the staff was exceptionally pleasant and attentive. Their friendly service and attention to detail really stood out. If you're looking for a place with great food and warm, welcoming staff, this is definitely the spot!.

Ordered a large chips, I would hate to see their small. Scampi poor quality. Really bad size portions and chips for the price. The fish also looked dry and again is expensive. They also sell the Barr Cola for over £2 and it says £1.19 on the bottle. If they want good custom you need to treat it as a traditional chip shop and not like a hoodwinking exercise. Wouldn’t return.

This is the first time in 30+ years of there being a ‘chip shop’ here that we have had to return food. When it was Moby Dix & Big Fish Little Fish, the quality and service was consistently good. My dad would go every Friday but will now be going to Riverside instead as the quality has gone significantly downhill with Fins n Fry’s. The buttermilk chicken loaded chips is one of the poorest quality meals I have ever been given. The chicken was so tough that you could not insert a fork into it - even with significant force. The colour of the chicken was also very questionable and the garlic mayo had no taste to it. This is all compounded by the painfully slow service, as they don’t seem to be setup to take on multiple orders simultaneously. Fins & Fry’s did replace the meal with an alternative, but without much care about the issue with the original meal. I don’t really provide many reviews on Google, but this was so bad that I had to. People of Hanford/Trentham - avoid!!

Had fish, chips and curry sauce, terrific, best fish I've had. All made fresh, staff friendly, shop was spotless, couldn't ask for more. Also only fish and chips open on a Monday for miles. Travelled from Westlands, is our go to choice.

Called in late Monday evening, about 40 minutes before closing. Staff couldn't have been more welcoming! A lot of places would have offered what they have already cooked, but no, whatever I wanted they would cook fresh. For me, it was really good to see fish in breadcrumbs - not many places offer alternatives to batter. Got home with our food and it was lovely .... the fish was really tasty and the portions very generous. Will DEFINITELY make Fins n Fry's my regular chippy!!!

We thought we'd try Fins and Fry's after their takeover and we were very impressed with the food. The chips in particular are much better quality compared to before. We tried the masala cod and sheesh kebab which was very tasty and with a nice Indian twist to it. Good portions and reasonably priced too. We ordered online and was ready for us to pick up when we arrived. They have a varied menu so we'll be back to try other meals.
