Food tonight was shocking! Chips were old, left over from lunch, maybe? Hard and not edible. Fish was good. Needed a sandwhich for work tomorrow, chose a turkey and stuffing bap, only to get home and find it was dated 30/04/24 my bad! I should have checked the date before buying. Really disappointed today. Food here in the past has alwsys been good.

I didn't go in to the shop I stay in the car.my dad and his cousin have small fish&chips good size fish.thickness fills them up.l have chips &curry not spicy.

Cheap and cheerful food . Really enjoyed the hot steak and onion bap and hot pork and stuffing bap .

Okay..chips were okay..but Jesus Christ. Don't get the hot baps. They basically take sandwich meat put it on a bap and then into the microwave it didn't sit right at all. "Fried onions" which were Raw red onion put on a Panini press for a minute.then stuck on the bap with chip shop gravy. Lord have mercy I looked at my friend and thought jesus please don't let this make us sick. Oh well life's a journey sometimes you get a rancid hot bap.

Splendid Fish and Chips. My dear sir or madam, I must say that I have recently had the pleasure of purchasing a dinner from this chip shop and I must say, the meal was quite the sensation. The establishment in question, with its warm lighting and inviting aroma, did truly serve up a delightful dish of fish and chips. The fish itself was a triumph, encased in a golden, crispy batter that was cooked to perfection. It was firm yet tender, and simply melted in one's mouth. As for the chips, they were of the ideal thickness and crispiness, and were served piping hot. One could hardly ask for a more satisfying accompaniment to such a splendid piece of fish. But it wasn't just the food that left me with such a glowing impression of this chip shop - it was also the service. The staff were courteous and friendly, and had a way of making one feel quite at home. It was clear that they took great pride in their work, and that they were committed to delivering a truly top-notch experience. All in all, I can say with the utmost conviction that this chip shop is truly a cut above the rest. If one finds oneself in the vicinity, I would highly recommend stopping in for a meal - one is sure to be treated to a feast fit for a king!

Mushy peas when being steeped need some salt adding. Try it guys.. honestly!! We used to have a chippy... People raved about our peas. That's the magic needed.

Small fish & chips with musby peas, fish wasn't as small as it first appeared, expected it to have a thick batter on with hardly any fish but I was pleasantly surprised - a nice chunk of fish. Friendly staff, will definetly use this chip shop again!

I've just moved to the area and was delighted to find this little gem round the corner. Great food kind and polite service.

Yummy sized portions, splendiferous, yummilicious nom,noms. Certainly visiting again. Prices are rather reasonable too chaps. Boogey on down for a reet good belly full. You know it makes sense.

Called today and ordered a large breadcrumbs fish, not impressed with either the size of fish or how it was fried. The chips and the pudding we also had were lovely.

Local chippy, just a very old fashion and traditional fish and chips shop. Large portion of chips can feed a family of three (in my case), fish fried nicely and tastes delicious. Not my first visit and definitely not the last.

Over priced bag of cooking oil, first time there today and definitely the last , been bad all day ended up having a s*** in a bush thats how bad my stomach was, since when his the sauce kept in a chinese takeaway tubs in the back of the shop, no bottles ? Shop does have a vast menu however i really think you need to start at the bottom, and also change oil more regularly.

Chips very greasy messed up on our order since when did mayo and salad sound like tomato relish. Total let down over priced as well. One of the worst chippys out there

1). Had to do one star as it wouldn't allow half star. 2). First occasion my order was incorrect and second occasion had had hair in my food, I went back to complain with the evidence & staff would not accept responsibility nor would they apologise.

Nice and fast, lovely pleasant staff and the food was lovely. Only slight complaint was asked for only vinegar on one bag of chips and salt and vinegar on the other...and got only salt on one and salt and vinegar on the other. Didnt notice until we got home which was my own fault as staff had written on what was on each thing. Will defo go again as food is lovely, hot and fresh.
