Love going in this chippy you have such a laugh with the lady's in there and good food 😁

Im absolutely livid, my partner went to get tea tonight and was refused to be served as he asked in a polite way to be served by someone else as there has been an issue with one of the other girls in the past, the girl went to tell the other staff that he would like her to serve him and she came out the back with a complete attitude asking in a loud voice “why don’t you want my staff serving you” he replied with it doesn’t matter why and her reply was “well I’m not serving you then” with her hand stretched out shooing him off! 2 staff members are aware what the issue is an we have never had to explain to anyone else, we will now not go there as the girls attitude was disgusting and seems to think she above she is the one with blonde/brown hair I believe her name is Gemma, I’ve never had any other problems with the other ladies they are lovely and no there customer service very well! But this has made me not want to go bk again now!

Not happy with the contridictive prices, on the board it says all food wrapped separately is charged full price, but in my case I ordered a large sausage, chips n gravy on a tray. But got charged full price for gravy and chips and sausage. It should be priced more clearly. The food is beautiful the owners are great people, just felt a bit over charged. Will order all seperate in future and I will check out other chippy see if they the same. Hmmm

Chips how they should be...Golden brown and fluffy in the middle..you won't find any pale flaccid dry chips from this chippy. They have a good selection of food and also serve low fat milkshakes. Look out for the special price boxes they have which are very good value for money. Also if you ask for a large chips, you get enough to feed a family of 4 easily. Friendly and obliging staff too.

Been having fish suppers for years from here. Tonight was worst that we have ever had. Sorry not up to usual standard 😢😢😢

I used to use this chippy often but after the last time decided not to. I ordered 4 X sausage chips and gravy, plus a few other things. The issue was when I got back home and plated up there was barely enough chips between the 4 to feed one person.

Lovely chips and incredibly kind owner. We were unfortunate enough to be involved in a car accident at the weekend and were stranded for nearly 3 hours before we could be recovered. The owner was so helpful and sorted us with food for which he refused any payment and for such we were/are immensely grateful. Thank you.

Staff really friendly, covid friendly. Didn't pre-order so happy to wait while my food was prepared which didn't take long at all. The food was excellent, generous portions and really tasty. Will definitely order from them again

Absolutely disgusting £5.60 for this burnt offering ,supposedly chicken and tiny portion undercooked chips!!!!!! Took it back straight away. She accused me of having it 1 and half hours. Why would I want this upset on a sunday evening Took it straight back but even so...how has it burnt itself in that time. She has now paid back £3.90 I shall be sending these photographs to the food standards agency I did not abuse you..you called me a liar. If you served up good food this would not have happened The photo doesnt lie

Asked for fresh large fish as soon as we walked in, got to the till and we were served with one out of the hot cabinet... Not fresh and not large! On top of that.... We double checked that the food we got didn't have any false lashes in! Or jewellery! All staff had false lashes on and false nails, make up and jewellery...... Will not visit this place again.

A wide range of great food, friendly staff and great atmosphere with a quick and efficient service. Best chip shop in the area.

Had large breaded cod.... lovely and Big!!!.....piri chicken could do with being a bit more spicy but that's my own taste..😊...my only disappointment is the chip's are really chunky and big and you don't really get value for money in portion size especially when your paying almost £3 for a large portion....x

Great food, great prices and the staff are lovely its a very welcoming type of place and there food is made so perfectly its like diving into a cuisine of indulgence. The fish and their meats are so delicious its unbelievable and there fish cakes are mouthwatering. A well deservered 5 star from me. Might i add their members of staff that happen to be georgious.
