I order from this chippy regularly and have done for years and it was nice for abit with no problems but tonight they missed a meal from our order so we rang up and the english woman was so rude she said she was the manager dont know how she is a manager with an attitude like that! Never order from here guys not with her as a Manager

I went there last night 21/8/24 and now they the only chip shop in Stoke and Trent that I know of that charge for CARRY BAGS When the law says they don't have to charge for them when I asked the owner about it he said Tesco charge 50p for one at the end day they are a Back Street Chippy not a multi-billion business??

One of the best chippy around ther food is spot on and they have massive fish too

First time ordering. Fast delivery. Food yummy. No problem's at all with Chips. My Son said it's one of the nicest Donner Keebab's he has had. Used this chippy a few times the last few years. Last 2 visits the chips have been hard and barely warm. The fish was Luke warm and soggy. Wont be using again and would not reccomend to anyone

For the price you pay these days for a portion of chips is bad enough,but in the portion I got was absolutely disgusting,I didn't even get one chip that you could call a chip,bits and ends , terrible won't be using again,I need a bit of quality for the price I pay.. yes could of cooked my own but decorating so decided to get a chippy,wish I hadn't bothered.

This was absolutely disgusting! Cold greasy chips with bits of batter in them? Horrible veggie burger, cheap and nasty, ordered with garlic mayo, none? The battered fish was horrendous! Fish smelt old, batter wasn't fully cooked. Appalling Avoid

hard stale chips the small pots of gravy which were meant to be large I am disgusted, the only things edible were the sausages

Outstanding.... I accidentally ordered for collection instead of delivery..... They were brilliant and organized it to be delivered after I didn't collect 😂 The food was still red hot and the chicken kebab is out of this world

Fish has recently gone up but its lovely to eat, lots of chips. Menu is more than just fish & chips. The burgers are lovely as well.

I'd love to give it 5 stars all round but the last few times I've ordered I've tasted mould and today I found green mould in the melted cheese on my chips. I hope they sort it out because I love they're chips but I won't be going back until they've sorted it out.

I have just used this chip shop for the first time. The shop was busy when I arrived but the guy on the counter was ready to take my order when I walked in. I asked for a moment to look at the extensive menu and in the meantime two other customers walked in. I only wanted one piece of southern fried chicken and chips, which was not on the menu. I was charged 2.99. This was the best 2.99 I have spent on a takeaway. The chicken was moist, very tasty and a good sized breast piece. The ‘chippy’ chips were cooked to perfection. Hot, tasty and delicious. I was in and out of the shop within three minutes. Thank you for you service. It was lovely.

One star is to much. Use have from here all the time Fish value box. Wont ever be wasting my money here again It's gone absolutley tasteless. The fish just tastes like dirty oil and very greasy. And it was stone cold..no thanks never again. Rang up and they said they would re send me my meal. That's not good enough as iv got go bed soon. Under new management.. yeah I can tell. Lost my custom

We love it here stafg are friendly only issue I have ever had is the salad not looking its best but that could of been the heat.

We are really fussy where chip shops are concerned, so don't go very often due to the price and half of it going in the bin. Having said that and passing the chip stop decided to take something home. Fish chips and mushy peas. Really nice, lovely tasty fish cooked nice and 2 empty plates and not over priced and still hot after a 3 mile drive home result ☺

We asked for gravy but we didn't get any. I am outraged about this because you can't have chips and sausage without gravy can you??

The food here is the best I've had at a chip shop, not greasy, very tasty, and big portions. The staff are extremely friendly, I won't go anywhere else.

Tonight was the first time ordering with these guys and the order was wrong but we were too hungry anyway so ate the food without ringing up to complain - we just left it. About an hour later I get a phone call apology with the driver at my door telling me he has our order and the food quality was fantastic! Will definitely be ordering from here again!

Had orders from Chip Stop since last year. Portion size is the best I've had from any other chippy. Food tastes great and value for money. Oh and the gravy is 5* in my opinion.

The 5 of us each had a large cod and we ordered 2 large chips between us .It was soon delivered by a lovely lady and it was piping hot .The fish were massive and cooked perfectly (delicious).We had 2 large chips but one would have been enough as the portions were again, massive. We would recommend the chip stop to anyone and also thank my daughter Sharon for telling us about the best chippie in the potteries. The Chip Stop.

Worst chippy ever last time I went it was inedible and order was wrong they haven't got a clue went again give them the benefit of the doubt and order was totally wrong again had make half of it myself shame cus it's local but it's a total waste of money sauces are rock hard chips underdone and they forget half your stuff don't waste your money here unless u want eat your tea angry cus uv bin ripped off not falling for it again avoid this place

HIGHLY RECOMMEND These guys make the best tasting chippy chips in stoke on trent. Kebabs sfc are second to none . If you fancy a fish n chip supper this is definitely the place to vist. PS they prices are not what you would expect to pay for this quality of food ... cheap as chips...😊🍗🍟

Just about the rudest people who serve food I've ever encountered. Not just a one time visit either due to it being close to home it is handy. The foods ok there is better, I just can't get over how ignorant the staff are. Reasonable prices for the food though. My missus has had bad experiences with the staff as well...
