Lovely bar, friendly staff, toilets were spotless. Plus several friendly dogs outside to stroke. Definitely recommend 😁

Love this pub it doesn't supply food but those who wish to can bring same in . I cannot praise Landlord, Landlady and their staff enough . A recent review was submitted and I have to say some issues pointed out appear to have been misconstrued. Easily done if not realising the seating arrangements and those who supply same . I do hope this will help those who wish to visit The Greyhound any day of the week not just Saturdays.

I come to swaffham regularly and enjoy the market and auction but unfortunately have been targeted by the pub landlord. I am a woman with young children and have been targeted because of this. The landlord is extremely rude and was shouting in my face Infront of my children. I was going to sit on a bench at the end away from the pud as I suffer with a bad back and hips so I can't stand for long periods but I was followed by the landlord and before I could even sit down he was in my face shouting at me to not sit there as I wasn't a customer. Now these benches are on public land and there was at least 5 benches with no-one sitting on them and several benches with people with no drinks sitting on and yet he approached a woman with children, my children are well behaved and don't climb on the benches we also always put our rubbish in the bin. Had the tables been full and a customer was looking for a seat I would happily of moved for them. The attitude and the way I was spoken to is not acceptable and utterly disgusting infont of my children and when my husband approached him he had nothing to say so is clearly scared of men as he will only approach woman

Will never visit this pub again. Sat here comforting a friend who has just lost her baby and been refused service due to assumptions. Had the bar staff spoken to my friend or our company they would have been informed. Disgusting judgmental clicky pub avoid

On a recent visit to swaffham today my partner who's suffers with copd and disabled just sat at one of the tables when the saturday auction was on to have the landlord come out shouting that if we are not buying from the pub we must leave. So making a disabled man who was just getting his breath back was made to move.... have a little compassion for disabled not every disability is visable.

This is a great traditional pub/Inn, full of nice down to earth people and good bar staff! 👍

Absolute breath taking pub. Came in for a few ales. As I was sipping my ale while waiting for my turn on the grande pool table I have never sipped such a hydrating and beautiful drink. I could tell with my heart that this Ale was poured straight from the barrel and that is what I like about this pub it does stuff the right way and no other and also a quick game of pool with my pals. The pool table was one of the best I’ve ever played on as I’ve experienced many pool tables in my career but nothing comes close to this one. The pool cues are absolutely the flabbergasting they nearly swept me of my feet. I’ve never been to such a beautiful and outstanding pub in my whole 60 years of day drinking around the country. The wheelchair accessibility at the greyhound inn is the best I have ever witnessed as I was escorting my grandmother up the ramp the amazing landlord offered me a hand to help my grandmother up the ramp as I was having a very hard time lifting her up it. This brought me such happiness and a sense that this was the pub family I wanted to be apart of. The landlord and his family are the most caring and loving people I have ever met. They treated me like I was part of the greyhound family. They are truly outstanding even the dog showed its love and affection towards all customers. As I was on my exit I thanked them for my hospitality and gorgeous drinks and snacks. I was on my way to the glorious McDonald’s of swaffham and as I was sitting in my Toyota Prius I had a sudden memory of the all the greatness and joy I felt in that pub. I have never felt this way about a pub in nearly 30 years. So I had to just turn around and go back. Ever since my first visit to the greyhound inn (great hound inn) I have been a regular day in, day out. #greatestpubintheUK

Me and my partner had a few beers here. It was spacious, clean andcomfy. The staff were very friendly, it had a nice ambient atmosphere.

Other-half, me and Mother-in-Law stopped by for a drink when we were unexpectedly in Swaffham on Saturday. The bar was quite full but very friendly; banter and laughter was nice to hear. Service from the two ladies was swift, courteous and pleasant before we sat outside with our drinks to watch the bustling town centre on a glorious summer's day. Glasses returned and spotlessly clean loo used... this is how to run a pub... welcoming, clean and upbeat. Thanks ladies, see you again.

A Proper Locals Pub..hardly for visitors..Outside Area..was full of bad language.. yes Beer was good but £5.50 a pint on average..i wouldn't go again..

Love this pub truly exasperating atmosphere owners eloquently served drinks at a exquisitely fast pace i cannot express in words the night I had at that pub the atmosphere was cracking and satisfactory whilst still being ethical

Absolute banger of a pub never been so welcomed in my life owners welcomed me with open arms like the white hart couldn't owners treated us all like family The dog was cute and friendly and was a pleasure to see the drinks were out of this world served with crisps on the side no better combo in my life made most of my friends here over time and there will never ever be a pub like this highly recommend a visit

The gastronomic experience, dished up at the Greyhound, is beyond comparison. The elequant and elegant patrons are a joy to converse with, and the decor inside the establishment is a sight that no one should be deprived of experiencing. Ales, wine, and company to rival any 5* establishment in the whole of Norfolk. A jewel in our crown.

If you go here don't forget your I'd as they will serve you alcohol and as soon as you sit down id you and if you haven't got it take away your drink but not refund you or replace it

It's where I go to have good banter and fun in general. Love the landlord and landlady to bits and would do anything for them. They always look after their clientele. Because that's the way they have always been. Caring and great people.
