Asked for a gin and tonic. Ice and a slice of lemon Bar maid replied. " I don't bother with lemons and that" so no fruit slices in any drinks... civilisation is dead....!

Went there to watch the football they have sky and BT we had a very nice evening it was a Thursday night there was also a Quiz going on. The regulars went out of their way to make us feel welcome as did the manager just a pity they don't do catering but they placed complimentary sandwiches and pork pies on bar. Will we go again most certainly and would encourage any one to go there and be welcomed as we were.Only good things to say

We only went in for a quick drink to check it out because it is a walkable local, and we're new in the area. Quite a nice pub, friendly lady behind the bar, quirky wall decor, with at least 4 different finishes. Plenty of bar stools, a couple of TVs that I saw, and I think I spotted a pool table too.... that's maybe for another day! Got chatting with some other customers, nice little pub, and would go again. No idea about food, didn't have any.

We had been to bank hol' mkt in Selby, we decided we all wanted to eat so after a discusting experiance ( review on the restaurant george hotel) we made our way toward home we came across The Grey Horse in Brayton, the staff & new owners could'nt do enough even the locals were friendly, the food was fantastically tasteful & well presented, they do starters through to sweets & a childrens menu. This place is well worth a visit.

Disappointed. Firstly we arrived, the car park was busy. Seemed people park there that aren't visiting the pub. Very small for the establishment. We had to drive around twice to eventually find a parking spot. Our drinks order was taken quickly and then our food order was taken. Great 👍 The food came. The fish and chips was a good size portion. The roasts on the other hand. Very thin pieces of meat. Large yorkies. OK veg. Now the roast potatoes... I'm not often disappointed by roast dinner veggies. However these roast potatoes were the worst I've ever tasted. My knife wouldn't even cut them the skin was like leather! I have no idea how they managed to get them like that. Inedible! The service was slow and seemed stretched for the amount of tables. We asked for a dessert menu and one was never brought, after finishing our drinks we left without ordering. Would not rush to come back for the food.
