Abbie the bartender was amazing, made us feel at home and included. She was absolutely amazing. Definitely recommend to everyone.

Brilliant atmosphere, with very kind staff. The fish and chips I had were great. Very good portions. The beer was very fresh.

Macaroni and 3 cheese was very creamy, and the burger was very well made. Ordered at the bar. Only complaint is that several tables needed cleaning.

Some food is not great. Had a cheese toastie which was quite honestly horrible. It wasn't grilled cheese but simply grated cheese mixed with loads of mayonnaise and that is not a toastie. The salad garnish is just a pile of rocket. Not a good place for vegetarians. They used to do battered halloumi and chips but no more.

I booked the cellar bar for my 50th last Friday and 60 friends came. It could have held 100 but we were very comfortable and smashed the minimum-spend. The service was outstanding, both on the night (headed by Corey) and in the immediate run up (headed by Molly). I was worried - from experiences elsewhere - that we'd have one barperson going back and forth between us and the upstairs bar but we usually had 2 people looking after us and they were all so friendly. The buffet came out on time and, while I was too busy to assess whether I got value for money, I'm told there was enough for everyone and the food was definitely of a high quality. And the little extras I requested - the bonus veggie dish, a DJ soundcheck the previous week and being allowed to keep some kit in the cupboard until Monday - were all accommodated without fuss. The ONLY snag was that they took a very long time to reply to my initial emails. I guess I know now that this is a result of how hard the staff work to look after the customers they have in front of them, but it's a shame and I wasted a couple of lunch breaks looking at alternative venues while I waited. I'm VERY glad I didn't go anywhere else. If the Greene Man take a few days to reply to an email, it's worth being patient.

Lovely pub outside Great Portland Street. We went to Regents Park for a walk and decided to have a pint. We ended up at the Greene Man. Lovely service and delicious pub food. Definitely coming back.

Enjoyed a a lovely brunch here with friends. We just arrived at our hotel around the corner so this was the perfect place for a drink and some shared bites.

Visited with my family on our trip to London, as we were staying at the hotel across the road. Food was very good, staff very friendly and attentive. We visited in the evenings as well, where it can get a bit busy, but the team was very good. They show sport as well, not just football, on request. They have a great range of drinks, especially Flint Eye lager, it was suggested and we loved it.

Came again today. Lovely again. Great service, great food and amazing range of beers. Level Head IPA particularly hit the spot.

Had a great time here with my friends, they have lots of options for guns and the atmosphere was perfect for a friendly catch up. Would 100% come back again and have some more of their food too! The bartenders were great at suggesting some guns when we couldn’t decide!

Visited earlier today and when arrived no service behind the bar! Started to think to myself is this venue self service! Eventually a fairly grumpy guy took my order only to be told no IPA - only have this (pointing to one real ale). My reply forget it and I walked out. You need to do much better; make non available beers visible; have the bar manned at all times and have a policy for your staff to be cheerful (particularly towards tourists visit london and contributing towards the economy).

Amazing London Pub at the heart of it lol near Regents Park. We have been staying at the Melia White House Hotel and the Greene Man is literally meters away! We have eaten here 3 days in a row. Excellent food whether you prefer British or international cuisine! Absolutely love the katsu chicken burger and Karaage Sticky Chicken. Try the picked watermelon and Halloumi for something different. Can be busy, or you may catch it at a lovely quiet time. Make time to check this out!

Me and my friends come here for dinner and a few drinks one evening after work and we were very pleased with our choice. The quality of the food delivered was delicious! We had a few starters to share I remember distinctly the crispy squid and the Karage sticky chicken were unbelievably tasty. Then I had the beyond meat burger which tasted like real meat it was just perfect! One of my friends had the Sunday Roast that according to her was the best she ever had! Our drinks were served very fast I didn't know what to drink thankfully Molly who help me out with a few testing to choose the perfect beer, and I noted all team members were playful and smiling which made the all experience superb! Thanks for the great meal! I will be back for sure!

Very poor experience. The staff are nice and helpful, but the food is poor and the organisation lacking. We turned up as a family, having checked the website to see if they catered for children, and if there was something for my child to eat. When we got there, there was no kids’ menu on our table so my son looked all through and said there wasn’t anything to eat. I downloaded the app. Still no kids’ menu. One of the bar staff got one for us. They didn’t have any children’s veggie sausages. The food came out suspiciously quickly. Like ten minutes. The only way you could do three courses in that time is just to have bunged them in the microwave. The sweet potato fries were burnt. They didn’t have any ice cream. Apparently. One star for the apple juice, which is nice. Now, the thing is this is the third Greene King I have been to for food. One in London, one just outside of Leeds and one in Birmingham. They all had the same problems. I will not be trying a fourth.

This is the usual after work venue. We always get great service from Jenny and the team, even when it’s busy.

Extended and now with glass frontages to the road, the large back garden has also been refurbished. Everything looks very attractive.Pretty and pleasant young women served outside. We were here to attend a whisky tasting downstairs and as we had arrived early, decided to have something to eat to be on the safe side! We ordered 2 jacket potatoes. Hubby's potato was cooked, but mine was completely undercooked and I could not eat it. It was a shame as I was really hungry!

I would make a couple of things understood. First, this pub is owned by Green King, a large conglomerate with hundreds of locations in the UK. It is not a locally owned drinking spot.

Went to eat and drink during the European Soccer Championship game. Got there 2 hours early and had Steak and Kidney pie and Fish and Chips. The food was excellent and we had several beers. People were friendly and loved talking with the locals.

Fuimos a tomar una copa temprano por la noche y el lugar estaba lleno, pero aún así se sirvió muy rápidamente, una buena selección de cervezas, aunque no estaban disponibles, nunca comimos aquí, pero la comida se veía bien, sin duda volvería cuando esté en el área.

El personal del bar es muy amable y la comida era realmente buena, no barata pero razonable para el área.

Wir waren an mehreren Abenden hier auf ein Glas und mehr. Das Lokal ist immer sehr gut besucht und ist zum Glück gross genug, um viel Platz bieten zu können. An den Wänden hängen viele Bildschirme, so dass man aus jeder Ecke die Sportevents mitverfolgen kann. Die diversen Biere sind geschmacklich sehr gut und haben eine perfekte Temperatur. Es macht grosse Freude, ein herrlich kühles Bier hier zu geniessen. Und Freunde eines richtig guten Cider kommen auch voll auf ihre Kosten. Besonders hervorheben darf man den wirklich freundlichen Service in allen Belangen. An einem Abend liefen Oldies aus den 60er Jahren. Von einem Song konnten wir den Interpreten nicht identifizieren und fragten am Tresen nach, ob man den Sänger nennen könnte. Leider wusste es niemand, was schade war. 10 Minuten später kam jemand extra an unseren Tisch um uns auf seinem Mobile die Playlist zu zeigen. Wir hatten also unsere Info und ausserdem die Gewissheit, dass es sich hier um wirklich freundliche Menschen handelt. Bei ihnen trinkt man sein Bier oder einen Wein sehr gerne. So ist dieser Pub aus mehreren Gründen aus unserer Sicht echt empfehlenswert.

We dropped in for lunch and a pint of cider. Regular pub food, but we enjoyed it. Had a cheese and chutney sandwich (we asked for a Ploughman's but I guess no one calls it that anymore) and fish and chips. Lots of TVs to watch football.

I've been in the Greene Man a few times for work functions and it's a good old London pub, serving a nice selection of drinks and has a good choice of food,although I've only tried their 'party' food.

We ordered a salad, a lasagna and soup of the day. The salad was ok. The lasagna was the same of “lasagna from supermarket”. The soup of the day was a tomate soup! It was a “pasta souce”. Disgusting!
