We called into this lovely deli with our Border Collie and received a warm welcome and excellent coffee. We had travelled up from Hampshire to make a delivery, but intend to return to Ripon in our motor home and will definitely call in to sample the food and buy some of the wide selection of interesting supplies.

This is not a large establishment but what it does it does well. It has a very varied menue of snacky type meals e.g. jacket potatoes with different types of fillings, soup with crusty bread a good selection of sandwiches and similar together with pies, cakes, large scones and dairy ice cream. Food is home cooked and can be eaten on the premises or taken away and is served with a friendly smile. And this has been the only eatery when I have been offered a glass of water with my meal without asking. If in the area again I will certainly return.

While biking with my brother we came across the green duck deli and stopped for lunch. My brother had started to feel unwell so we got drinks and sat down. He rapidly started to feel worse and the staff were fantastic and went out of their way to help even taking my brother during heavy traffic to the nearby minor injuries, while looking after our bikes and bags. Unfortunately we didn’t get to eat lunch which was a disappointment for me as it looked very appetising. I will definitely go back the next time I am in Ripon.

We found this place whilst wandering on a hot sunny afternoon and stopped for cake and a cold drink. Lovely location and plenty of other things on offer if you wanted lunch etc. Will definitely visit again

Called in here for a late lunch, 4 of us had panini or sandwiches. A great selection and drinks very keenly priced. Lunches well prepared and a lovely side salad. Highly recommend the coronation chicken sandwich on superb granary roll. A hidden gem!

Came across this deli yesterday. Good choice of sandwiches. Freshly made to your needs. They do quite a few different cakes and traybakes. Their malteser tiffin is very good. Also cheese scones are large, but a little too peppery / spicy. Nice fresh food. Highly recommend.

Cute little place, very friendly staff. I had the brie, bacon and cranberry panini it was really tasty, washed down with a can on San Pellegrino and a piece of malteaser tiffin. Also picked up some gorgeous handmade flowers, lots of interesting extras, they do Brymore ice-cream too 😀

I visited the Green Duck Deli to buy some little treats, like jam and pickles and biscuits when I saw that they served soup. I had a delicious bowl of broccoli and Stilton soup and a lovely cup of tea. The service was friendly and I came away with an array of food treats as well.

On a cold day the hot chocolate was just right. No problem moving tables to seat four and two dogs. Service was quick and pleasant.

Popped in whilst looking for a quick lunch. Very unusual setting for a tea room but works well with about 10 tables set up between the pews & the altar. The pews act as an overflow area if all tables are taken but we arrived as one was being vacated. Very friendly staff, a relaxing atmosphere and excellent value for money. Menu is limited to a choice of rolls, soup and a tempting range of homemade cakes & scones. Rolls could have improved if pickle, mustard or mayonnaise had been offered but the cakes & scones made up for this as they were very nice. The church itself is a delightful building and worth a visit in it’s own right. An interesting alternative lunch option.

4.5 stars. Wonderful food, possibly the best wings and falafel I've had, served with fantastic fresh salad. Main issue was I did not get the advertised hummus and garlic dip with my meal so everything was incredibly dry. Dry falafel, dry bread and dry chips. The thought of eating falafel without a hummus/garlic dip is actually baffling and sickening to me, if I had known they wouldn't include it then I wouldn't have even ordered. Please, *please*, *PLEASE* actually include this for future orders, am hoping this was just an honest mistake and you are not defrauding customers since your website says this is included (screenshot attached). DRY, DRY, DRY. I think I'm off to drink a reservoir... I did have an extra chilli dip which I paid £1 extra for, did this somehow cancel out my promised humous/garlic dip?! Like I give you extra money and you take things away?! I hope not... *Please* check in future or update your menu if you do not actually intend to supply said-dips. *Dips and sauce are important! If I wanted dry food I'd eat the Sahara Desert*. Anyway, fantastic food but do check your order.

2 young lads running the shop. 1 cooking was in filthy clothes and on his phone most of the time. Music was very loud. Fish and chips were disgusting, had an upset stomach for the rest of the night after eating half. Would not visit again. Think they could do with some staff training.

The service from two youngish girls was excellent! Dare I say typical Yorkshire! Portikns are generous, represent good value and flavoursome too!
