It was cold I needed to put in microwave which ruined it

1 hour late so far and still waiting despite it saying delivered.

Never ordering from here again over 2 hours late.

Do not use this takeaway , that is free advice. We ordered over two hours ago, and I have called up three times and spoken to someone with a rude attitude and thick demeanour. The pauses on the phone were excruciating, and when I asked if our food was on the way it was met with odd protracted excuses and I ended up saying “hello” as the line went dead with the long pauses - weird. Never again - and hey! Our food is still not here.

Great Chinese, food is always amazing. They can just never deliver on time. Make sure you order at leave 1 hour - 90 minutes before you want to eat.

order arrived well over an hour late. when it arrived the food was soggy and flavourless. had to try call them on nearly 10 different occasions just to be told "it's on its way"...

Always eat here and the food is law bang on but don’t ask them to deliver. Always late and never as good. It’s a real shame. Lesson learned

I’m hoping someone will contact me, I’m new to this area, ordered food for quickness today, it arrived an hour late and had been sat in traffic that whole hour, it was cold, soggy and way beyond saving, it went in the bin, I called the restaurant who said they will confirm this happened, I’ve just wasted £58 and now I’ve had to go to the shop to buy ready meals as I’m exhausted from moving. I’m not happy at all.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Order did not turn up and when I spoke to them directly about cancelling and getting a full refund they told me to contact just eat. No apologies nothing. Avoid Avoid Avoid!!

A few weeks ago ordered 2 main dishes and 2 special fried rice. When I got home had 2 wet special fried rice which had bamboo shoots and water chestnuts that I hate so had to throw topping in bin. Tonight after a tough week(caring for someone with terminal cancer)I went and got chinese. Ordered 2 dry special fried rice and 2 main dishes. Again when I got home I had 1 special fried rice. Don't know what the problem is but I've had enough. Won't be buying from here again. If they can't get your order right or can't be bothered what else can't they be bothered with.

I have had the house special chow mein before this time was very disappointing three pieces of meat very small normally you get a variety of meat with the house special charming very disappointed and also Luke warm and the meat was rib no variety

Terrible service. Food was given to the wrong people and they refuse to give a refund. Waited an hour and a half for nothing. Woman on the phone hung up on me aswell, I had to call 3 times to even get a response.

After waiting 2 hours for 3 basic items to be delivered. You can imagine the frustration when the food is also terrible. The beef in the chowmein was about 10 days old and over cooked. The 'salt and pepper' chips contained ONE slither of onion and were stale. And the orange chicken was diabolical. Avoid at all costs. Worst chinese/meal I've had in years.

have used before and no issues. By the time my delivery finally arrived today (over 90 mins) I was no longer hungry so not impressed. Would not recommend as wasted the cost of a meal no longer required due to wait time

normally good this time chicken chow mein Def. reheated hope from today as chicken dry and drain in soya sauce to camouflage..make it way to salty like for my taste. shame I was waiting to enjoy it...disappointed this time

The food and service from here is usually 10/10 however tonight is took two and half hours to arrive from when I ordered, a £50+ order and no prawn crackers, chicken balls, sweet and sour and satay sauce was cold! Complete let down for a treat!

Order was a second order to replace some items the delivery had damaged. Order did not arrive and when I called the restaurant they said the driver told them he had already delivered and it was a mistake. They did not phone to check and just didn’t send the food. Full of excuses when I called and just blamed the driver. Didn’t even check to see the order numbers were different. First order took ages to arrive as well, will consider not using this restaurant again. Very bad customer service.

Order accepted at 7:20pm. Delivery time changed to a later time after an hr had already passed. Food arrived 2hrs after we ordered. No communication or apology.

The crispy shredded beef was just awful, so overcooked could not taste anything but burnt.. could not eat this dish and therefore lost the £7 odd that it cost :(. The chicken curry and sweet n sour chicken Hong Kong style was ok, nothing special but at least it was edible... Won't go here again I'm afraid.

A-bit late but I got the text message from so I expect that as Father’s Day, food was delivered with hot and good quality even better than usual, we are enjoying with England game tonight . Thank you ☺️ 🙏🏽

Driver was very patient. I forgot to turn on my other phone as was charging. She tried to call it twice as main door is locked all the time. Good thing someone from the building let her in.

£40 order and didn't get few spring rolls. don't get prawn crackers for £40. quality of the food was average definitely better in the area and pretty expensive

Personally won't order from there again, duck is expensive and what arrived was 95% bone and skin, disgusting and went in the bin. Rest of the order was satisfactory

order confirmed at 1750 and delivered at 1955. this was no fault of the driver as he was the only driver working he said.

Once again The Great Wall meal was excellent . Well spiced , hot ,fresh and delivered right on time . Once again I am a happy diner !!!

Late and chips and prawn toast were cold

Delayed delivery- we are still waiting. Have called the restaurant twice to be told it’s out for delivery with no eta. Even if the food is amazing, I will never order from here again due to the delay.

We placed an order at 7:15 told it would be ready between 7:50-8:15 they then changed the time to 8-8:35 it’s now 9:15 and we are still waiting for our food we have called the Chinese at 8-45 and was told it would be 10 mins well 30 mins later we are still waiting and being told it will be another 10 mins disgusting customer service will not be ordering from them again.

Utterly dreadful - 2 hours late, still not arrived, app totally misleading, no follow through from restaurant. No apology and no manager to talk too. Avoid at all costs

Used this place quite a few times. Food always arrives on time, hot and super tasty. Can’t fault it at all. Ordering on their website also lets you collect loyalty points for money off, which is cool. I wouldn’t think about ordering Chinese from anywhere else, and highly recommend.

The time of delivery had already been pushed back at 6.30 and was then due to arrive at 6.55. Apparently my food had been delivered (not) . I got on here to put in a comment and was told food would arrive at 7.15, it arrived at 7.19. Some of the food was burnt and inedible as we as being cold, over seasoned and greasy. This is unusual for this restaurant as they have always been good in the past but I feel that their standards are slipping. I have put in a request for a refund but have heard nothing

Placed a 50£ order for delivery, did not receive a call, did not receive food, but I did receive a notification that my food had been delivered. Called the restaurant multiple times, no response. I’ve not been refunded.

Took nearly 2 hours to get the food. When I called to ask how long it would be, I was told ‘we’re sorry, we are busy!’

Absolutely awful. 45 minutes late although they had marked as delivered on just eat. Called them to ask where the food was baring in mind it’s 5 minutes from my house to be told it’ll be 20 minutes. Once the food arrived it was stone cold and so salty. Disappointed is an understatement would not recommend.

Delivery time was shifted later, but with it being a Sunday - unsurprised busy hours. Food was great as always and the just eat driver was a nice bloke who delivered within the new delivery expectancy. Happy customers with satisfied stomachs. Recommended! Many thanks!

Have eaten takeaway from here a few times and have noticed the past few times I seem to have a sleepless night afterwards...ordered a takeaway on Sunday night and the Chicken Fried Rice was obviously reheated from the previous night as the chicken was like rubber. The Chilli Chicken was squidgy and didn't seem like it was cooked. Anyway after anoher unsettled night I got up in the morning and was ill with diarrhea, nausea and stomach cramps. Will not be ordering from Great Wall again after this and previous visits. Also, the price seems to go up by £2 every time we order.

My wife ordered from here via the just eat app, timely delivery it must be said. Then she opened the ‘hornet mixed hors d'oeuvres’ (or lack of them) and told me they were £16.90- nearly £17 for not a lot! The meal was described by my wife as ‘bang average’ which it was. They had put a menu in with the meal, and looking at it this morning there was pricing variations on it to what we had paid. So, giving the benefit of doubt (it could be out of date), I went on their website and placed exact same order this morning to find the food totalled £57.10!! We had paid £64.50??? Our total bill was £70.00!! So we had been overcharged by £7.40 on top of the £4.90 delivery, 50p service charge and even 10p for a bag!!! I know takeaways want you to order directly if you can because Just Eat charge them a commission, but that is up to the takeaways to use them or not, I’m not paying the commission charge on their behalf at what is almost 13%…. Underhand and deceitful at best- never again…..

The food, when it finally arrived after multiple delays, was inedible. I’m not sure if there’s a new cook, but, it was so salty, our lips were burning to the point that we couldn’t eat the food. Not happy at all, as it was £50 wasted.

After order being accepted at 6:18 the Food was cold, chicken was dry. They said it was out for delivery and would arrive between 7:10 and 7:30 then didn’t turn up till 8:25. Couldn’t get hold of them , they’d clearly taken the phones off the hook to avoid people calling about how late there food was !! Poor quality and 0 customer service
