I often frequent Caffe Concerto for a sweet treat, as they are reliable in terms of their desserts and service. This one has a really beautiful interior. I had the Apple Crumble Frangipane and the Honey Vanilla Latte. The frangipane was baked well and melt in the mouth. If I had to be picky, the custard could have been warmer, but I will ask for that next time. The service was as good as always.

Awful experience. Booked an afternoon tea and the food came 20 minutes after our tea which was by then cold. Was told that there was no children's menu when we were at the same restaurant the week before who had a children's menu. Ordered a penne bolognese and was bought a spaghetti bolognese and when we mentioned it to the waitress Maher she was angry and slammed our food on the table. When we spoke to her colleague about it he simply told us not to pay the service charge and said he didn't know the whole story. Not one member of staff apologised for her horrible behaviour.

Was served by a lovely waiter named Radi! We ordered some drinks and cake and everything was absolutely delicious! The atmosphere and ambience is fantastic! This by far is one be of my favourite spots to come for some coffee and some food! There is truly something for everyone! <3

They did not ask for my preferred egg for my full English breakfast so I specifically asked for sunny side down eggs. After waiting 15 minutes, they brought me sunny side up eggs. When I went to ask for the eggs to be changed they gaslit me saying I asked them for sunny side up eggs and refused to listen to me or let me speak to a manager. Very unenjoyable experience.

Avoid!!!! We had pastries and drinks at the establishment located at the entrance to Soho, facing Piccadilly Circus. Atrocious and laborious service where we had to request the different elements of our order several times (service charged £7 all the same!) The cleanliness of the water glasses was very limited, as were the toilets which are difficult to access. The scones were very dry and seemed industrial, one of the drinks ordered was not as described on the menu.

Stumbled across this place whilst in busy London and saw a lovely breakfast offer… The customer service from arrival until exit was so refreshing for London and the professionalism was amazing. The lady who greeted and served me was so lovely and friendly, as well as answered my questions, was able to accommodate my needs with my dietary requirements and was so respectful with anything I asked. her name was China. There is a basics customer service you kind of expect when you go for food in most places. But the service I was given today I did not expect the level of friendliness from this establishment, I don’t really expect much in a busy central London establishment due to the nature and was pleasantly surprised with this 🥰

We ordered 2x English breakfast and 2 coffees. The coffee was good but the breakfast not so much... The portions weren't the same, one egg was more hard boiled, the other soft... The bread was barely toasted. Quite disappointed for the price you pay

The food is delicious and they have halal options The price is high The service is bad and slow, and we have to make comments on the presentation of the dish so that it turns out to be the same as in the picture. For example, the passion fruit lemonade juice did not come in the same way as the one in the picture. It did not have a piece of passion fruit and the passion fruit was missing. There is a video on Google Maps that shows you the place and its spaciousness and explanation, but the place turned out to be small and the air conditioner was broken Outdoor seating is better *if there is no disturbance outside* Reservation is preferred

I am sick of London tourist traps and this is one of them. Check out Gary eats on Youtube for the most disgusting looking breakfast you have ever seen. No idea who is doing the cooking there but they can't even fry an egg.

We ordered The Luxury Cream Tea Set and it was very good. The server, Meher was so sweet! It was one of the awesome experiences in London!!

We had Tea Time there. It wasn't crazy in itself, small salmon sandwiches, cute pastries (French pastries are a level above anyway), the apple juice was expired and therefore was not charged but no glass of water offered, the final price exorbitant (a tip automatically added to the bill without consent). In short, apart from the luxurious decor, I don't really recommend it.

The food and service were both disappointing. Being in such a charming spot and clearly a very historically popular cafe it did not meet our expectations. The omelette was very average to poor and the apple crumble not up to par. We and others had to ask for salt and butter came late.

The service was not as expected even though there was no crowd. We ordered coffee and dessert, and the dessert did not arrive until 15 minutes after the coffee arrived, so we neglected to order.

Honestly was expecting a bit more.. Went for a afternoon tea treat with my friends .. and honestly we were a bit disappointed. We visited the grand caffe concerto on Saturday. It wasn't too busy but service was very slow and staff wasn't that friendly. Food was ok - had had better scones - although fresh , were extremely crumbly, sandwiches we ok, nothing extraordinary. Honestly we left a bit disappointed. We love their cakes which we always order for our birthdays but the afternoon tea was a flop unfortunately.

The manageress Sara awaited me at the door entrance with the warmest welcome you could get from another human you know and love but in her case and mine it’s a first for both of us meeting. This welcome was so impressive it made my day immediately ( not that I ever count on others for that )

Dear Owner. I found really annoying when I get surprised with a service charge without any notice. You already has higher prices than similar places around that area. I think any extra charges should be counted in the price of the food. One thing I learned is that I will avoid these places. Respect your customers.

This is a nice, casual place for afternoon tea. Radi, my server, was attentive and my tea service was lovely. It was a nice place to people watch and take a break from the days activities.

Come with my vegan partner, asked for the vegan gnocchi (with vegan cheese) on the board outside the restaurant, the lady confirmed but didn’t seem confident as English wasn’t her first language so I followed up with another waiter and showed him the photo of the sign and said want to make sure it’s the vegan option him and 2 others around the computer said yes it’s in the system. Food comes out and my partner takes a few bites and says she thinks it’s real cheese, we call them over and then discover that it’s not the vegan option at all, and now get told the sign out the front is old and that vegan ghocci isn’t even sold anymore!? Obviously untrusting to get her a new vegan meal from there, we then said we wouldn’t like a replacement and I said I won’t eat mine either we would rather just leave and was told I’d have to pay for mine which I refused, and paid the crazy price of 12 pounds for 1 coffee and tiny bottle of Diet Coke and left. Staff are completely incompetent and have no idea what they’re doing. I literally never leave reviews and also generous with tipping etc but this place has annoyed me enough that I want others to be aware.

Convenient afternoon tea and brunch oasis from the crowds. Visited after watching a performance at the nearby Apollo Theatre. Service was good. Clean and premium decor. American pancakes to die for. Toilets immaculate. Expensive but worth it. Highly recommended.

We had an afternoon tea at the Grand by Concerto Cafe, but unfortunately it was an unpleasant experience. The scones were not good at all, it did have Small pieces of paper inside, I think it was in the dough when were baked. Even the reaction of the waiter was unprofessional. The truth that I spent almost £65 to have a bad experience. anyway I went to another Cafe to make my day

Please becareful with this cafe. This cafe they try to scam you and they charge for bringing the wrong things. There’s this tall blonde lady that looks Russian, she literally tried to charge us for extra things and did in the end when we had asked for something else.

This is a cafe and restaurant that I happened to visit during my trip to downtown London. The staff service was very good and I had a great rest. I also enjoyed the tea very much.

Poor quality price Lots of waiting for dishes that were not very tasty: overcooked salmon, spicy sauce (not announced) in the salad with seafood…

Restaurant to avoid. The waiters are very nice but the food is not up to the prices!!! Exorbitant prices for sous vide food and I'm not talking about the wait while the restaurant was empty. 50 minutes for a poor piece of overcooked salmon and two pieces of broccoli and 5 potatoes.

When we went in, they didn't give us directions and told us to sit anywhere. We sat down and even though we waited for over 15 minutes, they didn't even give us a menu and kept ignoring us. I waited, and the 2-3 teams that came in behind me were given menus and took orders. So I asked the waiter why he wasn't giving it to me, and he pretended not to know. The staff are very rude. It's racist. Do not go

We stopped in for desserts and drinks after a show. The desserts looked attractive, but the flavor just wasn't there and they didn't taste fresh.

Overpriced Tourist Trap - Raw eggs!

Avoid this place at all costs. As soon as we entered the place, been approached by a rude man who claimed to be the manager. He forced us to spend at least £38 before he can give us seats and when we expressed our concerns, he declared it as a manager tactic to force the customer to spend minimum of £38. Such a waste of time and stupid tactic btw. 0 ⭐️

I really can't say much good about this place. Myself and my fiance were spending one last night in Picadilly Circus before going home to the States. We spotted The Grand and saw that it was empty. A red flag we should have heeded, for what followed was a 90 minute dining experience that I can only assume was titled "Make These Two People Regret Coming Here." We were sat immediately, and we were overjoyed, as we had spent about 8 hours touring the city at this point. We were then left with menus for about twenty minutes without interaction from the staff at all, until my fiance deliberately made eye contact with one of them just to get our drinks ordered. Their menu presented well! I ordered an iced mocha with soy milk! Sadly, what came to the table was a glass of iced milk with chunks of undissolved Nesquik powder floating about it. Perhaps there was a promotion with the Nespresso store next door I didn't know about, but I was too astounded at how awful it was to ask. Then we ordered food! We shared the fried calamari (brave, I know, considering how things have gone thus far), but it was actually very good once it arrived at our table, one of the 4 occupied in the area, seventeen minutes later (I'd begun timing at this point). Now, the real tragedy. I say tragedy not out of pretentiousness for a love of food, but because the staff here lied to me. I ordered a ham and cheese sandwhich without tomato. It came with tomato. Normally, I would pick it off and eat the sandwhich, but the travesty of the "Iced Choco Powder And Milk Splendairè" as I've come to call it in my head caused me to put my foot down. The second the plate hit the table, I said "Excuse me, I ordered this without tomato, if you would please," and handed the plate back. Eleven minutes later (again, timing), I was brought back the same sandwhich, the tomatoes rigorously removed and their seeds and imprints in the melted cheese left behind, and the same fries (now cold) the sandwhich came with. My fiancé's food was fine. She ordered a mushroom pasta dish. I had a few bites. It was alright if a bit undercooked. And that pleasure cost us ~€94 (sandwhich left on the bill). I would have made a bigger deal of it all, but as I said, 8 hours spent prior to this misadventure exploring the city. I was tired. I warn you all. Stay away from this place. There are hundreds of food options just around the various corners. Go to them instead. We went to Italian Bear - SOHO for dessert. 12/10 place.

I can't forgive myself for not finding this place sooner. Beautiful and pleasant place. The food was very tasty and in good quantity. Good drink at an affordable price. And the desserts are very delicious and beautiful! The service was perfect from start to finish. I would like to thank everyone who served me so well, especially the attendant: SAIFE.

Unfortunately the food was too dry and not really hot. The service rarely came by. So in the end we got up without dessert and then paid on the way out. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio wasn't right here at all. A pity

The Grand was truly a beautiful location to enjoy afternoon tea. My sister and I had a special time here and the staff was very professional and very friendly. We had a great conversation with one of the waitresses (sorry I didn't remember her name, but it started with C) who served us wonderfully. If we come to London again, definitely a must go there again!
