One of the best desserts (cake) I've ever had in my life! I can highly recommend the Pistachio Honey Cake. The atmosphere and vibes here are unique and truly amazing.

Terrible service and lack of good management. Stuff are almost unable to communicate and confused. One of them intentionally ignored not only us but other people as well and the rest had no idea what they are doing.

While exploring London, we popped into this cafe for lunch. The decor and ambiance were elegant and the desserts in the window were stunning. We waited quite some time to order, even though the lunch rush was over by this point and the restaurant wasn’t super busy. And then it took a very long time to get food — in fact, our drinks didn’t arrive until after our food did! While it was slow, and I wouldn’t recommend it if looking for a quick bite, the food was quite good.

We waited 56 minutes for our gnocchi, ravioli, lamb shank, and burger, after already waiting 20 minutes just to place our order. While I understand the lamb shank might take some time, 50+ minutes is excessive. To make matters worse, the food was bland, unseasoned, and stale. We didn’t receive our drinks until half an hour later. Of course, they still included the service charge, and nothing was offered to compensate for the poor experience. When we shared our concerns, they didn’t seem to care at all.

WOW that was some of the worst service I've had in YEARS. Waited to order even though they weren't busy. Ordered food and waited and waited. Asked the waitress if it was coming and she sounded surprised by the question. The staff was intentionally rude and made us feel like we bothered them for the basics- food and the bill.

Good place to buy lunch, good quality food and not crazy expensive. We visited on 17th Oct and received excellent service from Afjal, very friendly and helpful.

Always up for finding a little spot to have a treat when in London, but sadly despite the inviting decor, the rest is far from it. We were served in a good manner and in decent time. Cake, especially red velvet was nothing but sugar, couldn't finish it, flavorless. Bottled water had a tap water taste, not sure what that was all about. Hazelnut latte could have been great, but it was barely warm and that grated hazelnut was inedible, not for consumption. I was not aware it was like a grated shell which I stirred into my latte only to then spent 5 minutes trying to fish it out with spoon. Price was reasonable for central London, but only if any of it would have taste okay at least. Men's toilet was wet, clogged and dirty.

Friendly setting inside, not far from Trafalgar. But huge waiting time even though there were very few people. Had to ask several times for the bill. The food was not of great quality and it arrived cold.

We enjoyed our breakfast break here at the Café. Food and service were excellent. Especially the pancakes, Egg Florentine and Garden Breakfast were delicious. I don‘t understand some of the evaluations. I think there are too many idiots in town who expect best food for low price. But this is London 😆. So altogether: Great Café with very friendly staff!!

Worst breakfast ever! Are you serious? Have you been to Italy or Portugal to see what is a real breakfast with great cakes and bread etc? Overpriced. We paid €42 for samples of bad food. The waiter was in a bad mood or maybe this is the standard. And you are spread all over London. What a disgrace. Definitely not a place to recommend or return.

Beyond reprehensible service. The servers are rude, unfriendly and couldn't care less. Came here around 9:45am on Sunday for a quick bite and coffee. Had to wait a while before one of their two servers even bothered to show up and nonchalantly ask what would I like. He clearly doesn't like to be there. A simple order of coffee and water is taking over 20 minutes and no signs of availability or eye contact by the servers. I can wait on my food longer but it's unacceptable for a simple beverage order to take up that much time. Yeah, I'm not going to chase. I walked out. Thanks an awful lot for wasting my precious time!

The Carbonara was really good however the waiting staff seemed a little clueless. It took far too long for them to take our order. Did not check up on us during service, and took one of the dinner plates away while the other memeber of the table was still eating. Food was good, service was sub par

Our group only got coffee, wine, and desserts - and it was all delicious! The wine was smooth, all of our coffees were the best we had in the area, and the dessert wasn't overly sweet (perfect for us). This area seems very popular with lots of options, but highly consider this location. They also have a very highly rated Italian restaurant in the same space if you want more than desserts.

Not exceptional value for money. The fries from my fish and chips were almost raw, but the macaroons offered as compensation were good. I won't go back there.

The only table with cloth napkins was the 'demo' table at the door. We weren't even given paper serviettes until we asked for them. They nodded & then ignored our order of glasses of water twice. Only brought out 1 of the 2 cocktails we ordered. The mushroom starter was good. Took away a starter dish plate whilst the other was still eating. Left that finished plate for an eternity before bringing the mains. Which they brought with no cutlery. Avoid avoid avoid. Overpriced & the staff clearly just can't be bothered, despite their friendly demeanor. Perhaps it's just run inefficiently.

If you want to eat well with unpleasant service, this is the place for you. The food was good (we went for breakfast) but the waiter's attention was terrible, we thought it was only like that with us because when we entered we had an absurd "misunderstanding", since he approached us saying "good afternoon" and we responded with "hello ” and we got the impression that he wanted us to respond in the same way because he repeated it to us, but since we didn't understand, we repeated the “hello” and immediately his look changed. But we noticed that the treatment was like that with foreigners, only with the English it was friendly and we could even hear laughter. We had direct contact with a waiter, I don't know if the rest of the staff is the same but I think they don't take into account that part of the customer experience is attention. The 2 stars go for the food and the atmosphere.

We started our London tour for our anniversary here, and the young man that greeted was cordial and seated us well. The luxury cream tea with Prosecco for me and tea for the hubbie, was scrumptious and well wort the money.

Possibly the best breakfast I have ever had! An amazing combination of flavors including fresh avocado, grilled halumi cheese, perfectly cooked eggs, fresh rocket, hash browns and baked beans, served beautifully and great ambiance! A must if you are in London!

What a marvelous place for dinner and a decadent dessert! We stopped twice during our short stay in London. Our server Meher was wonderful.

Sorry I hate giving 1 star reviews. But the service here was just unacceptable.Partner and I ordered a steak and spaghetti Bolognese. Spaghetti came out in 20 ish minutes. 5 minutes later out came a burger and fries? They tried to say thats what we ordered. They then said they didnt have any steak? Changed order to chicken 20 minutes later nothing? Spaghetti was ok. Wife was hungry and upset. Cannot recommend.

Went to this restaurant for a "quick" bite—ended up staying so long I feel like I should be paying rent. By the time my food arrived, I had aged a year and learned a new language. If you're looking for a place to contemplate life, this is the spot. Food was decent, but at this speed, I’m assuming it was grown, harvested, and cooked all on-site. Would recommend if you're in no rush to, you know, ever leave.

The waiters are very rude and unfriendly. We thought the poor service was only from the person who greeted us, but 3 waiters interacted with us and were equally rude. I hope you don't have questions about the menu because they will make you feel like an idiot. Otherwise, the food and atmosphere are excellent, but you can find many more places with the same level of food, atmosphere and with much warmer service.

Very nice place and decor. Only went in for coffee. Service was polite but superslow. Coffee, an espresso, was atrociously bad. Needed to add a mountain of sugar to swallow it.

Terrible service. Unavailable staff, dishes brought in no particular order. We were brought an apple crumble that was at least 3 days old, a practically cold hot chocolate and the French toast was brought a quarter of an hour after everything else. The place is apparently nice, but, looking at the ceiling which resembled that of a shed, it lost all its charm. Finally, high prices that are not worth the quality offered at all.

Disappointing Experience Due to Poor Management and Service. I recently visited this northumberland branch with high expectations, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that there were significant issues with both management and service. First, I was left waiting at the door for an unreasonably long time, despite the restaurant not being particularly busy. It was frustrating to see several empty tables while we stood there without any acknowledgment from the staff. This lack of organization and attention to guests is simply unacceptable. Once seated, it became apparent that the staff were under considerable stress. I witnessed the manager speaking rudely to the team, which not only created a tense atmosphere but also seemed to impact their ability to provide good service. It's disheartening to see employees treated this way, and it reflects poorly on the restaurant as a whole. The food itself was decent, but the overall experience was overshadowed by the poor service and unprofessional behavior of the management. I believe that with proper training in customer service and ethics, this restaurant could significantly improve its reputation and customer satisfaction. I hope that Caffe concerto(Owner) takes this feedback seriously. For sure will never come back.

Best place to stop for a coffee or lunch in Trafalgar Square. Everything you could want in a Caffe/brasserie. The staff are very welcoming and professional. Love the vast array of cakes, especially the Pistachio cake. Atmosphere feel you are lunching in a bygone era. Love it!

I recently went to this caffe and was extremely disappointed with the experience, particularly due to the manager's(Razvan) conduct. The level of service we received was far below our expectations. The manager seemed indifferent to our concerns and did not make any effort to address the issues we faced during our visit. The drinks were overpriced for the quality offered, and when we raised this with the manager, we were met with dismissive responses rather than constructive solutions. The lack of professionalism was evident, as the manager appeared more interested in defending the restaurant's pricing than ensuring customer satisfaction. This attitude left a sour taste in our mouths, overshadowing what could have been an enjoyable dining experience. Given the manager's inability to handle feedback appropriately, I would not recommend this place to others and will certainly not be returning myself. #Northumberlandavenue

Wonderful place, coziness and atmosphere

Fantastic place in the middle of London . It has a fine dining atmosphere, extremely classy, with great service. For London prices it’s not too bad, especially given the quality of the service and the food. At night they light a candle for you so you can have a candle lit dinner. Great experience, would recommend to anyone.

Victor Gabriel was very welcoming and very good in service. He was a good considerate staff. Loved his service. Food was not as per expectations and the price.

We were welcomed by a very friendly waiter. The food (pizza, spaghetti bolognese and hamburger) was all delicious. The problem came at the end, although we realized it late. What we ordered (which was on the special menu advertised outside and on one of the menus they gave us) had a price. Although we pointed out the dishes on that menu when it came time to collect, they charged us for another one, which increased our bill by about 4-5 pounds. Be more careful than us when paying and make sure that what you order has the price it says it has. That fact somewhat ruined the experience, which was otherwise very pleasant.

At the entrance there was a sign with reasonable prices, we decided to check it out, at the table they delivered two menus, a one-page menu like the sign and a larger one with prices much higher, in the end they charged the highest amount in addition to a 12% service charge, What was supposed to cost around £25 was charged at £40, and when we questioned the waiter he said that the menu with lower prices that was given to us (and was on the sign in front) was not valid, I don't recommend it!!!

Nice cafe for breakfast with good service from Saad; for Aussies best to ask for double shot coffee as standard is quite weak. Service charge of 12.5% added automatically.

This place probably has absolutely gorgeous desserts. They are pretty and mindblowing, tasty! The service is also quite good, the beautiful decor adds to the experience of eating desserts at this place. Very highly recommend. Although the place is on the pricier side. The amount I was charged was also different (higher) from what was listed on display.
