Really good classic Greek food, large portions for the money. Perfect summer food. Owners are helpful and very kind.

Really great find - food excellent and very good value, our children loved the all day breakfast. We picked up our order combining it with a visit to the Staddy and both of these made for a good Saturday evening. Will definitely be back.

We queued for Gourmet Greek food at the Plymstock Tribute Festival on 10th June. There were 12-15 people in the queue ahead of us. We were in that queue for 1.5 hours. We were swapping in and out with other members of our party, as were other people in the queue. My husband bought beer quicker than we got food, and if you were there, you know that the beer queue was in the 100’s!! I mean, there was a long queue for the toilet and my friend and I both switched out of the gourmet Greek queue because we needed a wee and after that it was still over an hour before we could even order our food! We missed the entire Oaisish set because we were stuck in that queue. Once we reached the front (after an hour queuing behind no more than15 people), we realised why. There was copious amounts of food all ready to serve, but 2 servers who couldn’t put it all together. A man who had to check each order several times before actioning anything and a woman who seemed to be in charge of slicing onions, but didn’t know how to slice an onion. There also didn’t seem to be any kind of order to whom was served first. They offered the same food that we had ordered to the people who had queued behind us, until we spoke up and made it clear that we were first in line. The response from the man serving was “have you ever seen a Greek man get angry?” We had children with us that went off and bought pizza, ate that, then queued up after that to get crepes TWICE before we even reached the front of the queue we were in. I cannot express more strongly how SLOW this queue moved. Remember, there were no more than 15 people in front of us when we joined! And please don’t think that those people were ordering for the masses…we could see all the food ready to go. Sat there. Waiting to be assembled. Still sat there. Everyone and everything still waiting. Our kids were laughing at us (remember they’ve eaten pizza and 2 types of crepes before we’ve even ordered our food!) and asking “was that queue worth it?”. Well…. NOPE. Absolutely no. I mean is ANY food worth that? But Gourmet Greek was definitely NOT worth it. The bread was delish, defo top marks! The tzatziki was also very yummy. The chicken was ok. The pork was mostly awful. Overcooked and tough, or undercooked and verging on raw. Occasionally we had a piece that was edible. We had a fab overall day at the festival, but would NEVER order from Gourmet Greek again!

We booked The gourmet Greek for my husbands 40th birthday party. The food was amazing and the service was excellent and they went above and beyond. Anyone looking for something different I highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed.

First visit for us...... absolutely phenomenal. Bit of a wait but not an issue and well worth that wait. Really well priced and very satisfying. Delicious athenian kebab. Thank you and see you next week gourmet greek!!!

Ordered a delivery via deliveroo of 2 large souvlaki! It is advertised as double the meat large wrap large fries and extra tzatziki is mention 3 times in the description! Half the wrap had no sauce on so minimal sauce considering it’s mentioned 3 times in description I’d expect alot more there was 9chips in the pitta bread and this was supposed to be a large portion! Cold under cooked chips absolutely disgusting!! Didn’t eat it! NEVER ordering again from them! £3.50 for the smallest pot of tzatziki. WOULD NOT recommend to anyone. Can’t add a picture of the awful wrap

We ordered a delivery for my husband's birthday and it was absolutely fantastic. Very accomodating - we were able to order a selection of food with changes to the original menu for a very reasonable price. It arrived on time, piping hot and in abundance! Every piece of it was delicious - flavoursome and perfectly prepared and cooked. If it hadn't been for the Plymouth weather, we could have been back in Greece! Would highly recommend - can't wait to order again.

BEST KEBAB IN PLYMOUTH !!!! Highly recommended to everyone to come here . such great service , amazing meat and the salad is great too.

Food is amazing so tasty and fresh but left 3 stars as poor opening times and when it is showing as open half the time its shut and can't order!!! Frustrating as one of the only greek places available for delivery and can rarely get through to place an order, not good service however amazing food

Wow, we had two large mixed souvlaki and what a feast. The meat was beautiful, bread was moist and best of all, in my opinion, Costa puts a double helping of tzatziki in there!! Tasted so good, fresh and will definitely be coming back! One of the best places to grab a bite to eat in Plymouth.
