Worst service she wouldn’t accept my money abit of rip on it she wanted a new note Well guess what see ya I ain’t going to go to the bank to get you a new one Moneys money but now loss of a regular customer Worst place to go to for service and foods sloppy when my friend brought his food is was like drenched like water

Probably the best fish and chips ive ever had and I've had a lot absolutely superb

Decent enough chippie. The guy that served me excessively smothered my fish and chips with salt and vinegar, and the mushy peas were neon green, but apart from that the food was pretty good and it is priced fairly.

I went at weekend with my dad and the food was absolutely amazing like back in the day I haven't known about this place before but I will be going all the time now !!!the guy was great ,the service was fast the place was clean and the prices were more than fair my new takeaway for sure not had a chippy as nice in many many many years !

Food was mediocre, I couldn't hear the woman serving me so I got an answer to one of her questions wrong, the guy behind the counter laughed at me terrible service.

Now I’ve had some big cod and I’ve had some good cod but this cod was not big, it was never ending, and this cod was not good, it was delectable. Spam fritters, sausages, let’s go baby 5/5 10/10

Its been a long time since i have been to the goshen chippy and after my last visit i wonder why I havent been back sooner. Bought the fish an chips with curry sauce and all i can is it was perfect. Just the correct amount of batter on the fish and the chips were fresh an lovely. Price wise as all places have had a huge inflation its on average with any other chip shop which is about £10 for a fish & chips with one side. Great place and there is a reason why this place has been around for all these years because its decent. In the words of the terminator "I'l b back"

Normally go to Lords thought I would try this but they mixed fresh chips with refried and this meant mixture of fresh and greasy chips. Not a great visit will give it another try but this time will ask if the chips could be fresh and not a mixture.

Best Fish and Chips in Manchester literally. Really nice and fresh fish and chipits cooked per order so you Cant go wrong here and lovely owners

Great fish and great portions. Between 2 of us we ordered a fish and chips with mushy peas and curry sauce and a fish butty. Both were amazing, but we couldn't finish it.

Top rated it may be, but we had a terrible experience. Daughter and I popped in after gymnastics club down the road, ordered large chips, gravy and peas. Waited, lady passed me the order in a brown bag and we drove home to eat. Open bag...one large cod, gravy and peas. Cue upset crying child, and hungry angry dad. Mistakes happen I know, but do the basics Goshen! When someone orders, read their order back to them. When you hand over the bag, reconfirm what is in it to the customer. Was looking at a 30 minute round trip to go back, get right food and get home to eat, so even that wasn't a realistic option.

Decent chippy, fish was pretty much cooked to order as not too busy. Huge portions none of us able to finish. Chips were really good, fish was a little greasy but may have been due to coming straight out of fryer into take out carton

It's a nice chippy for English meals, but they also do chicken kebab and burgers etc, the fish are a good size and well worth the money,they have also started to do a small white fish fillet £3,and a small cod fillet including chips and a choice of side peas gravy, or curry for £5-50 for those with smaller appetites, if in Bury and near the cemetery give it a try, you won't be disappointed, and being just off the main road it's easy for parking

First time I've eaten from Goshen chippy.It was amazing the best chips I have had in a long time and I'm a qualified cook.

We were looking for a good chippy, due to the quality of the fish & chips in Lordes no longer being nice. The batter on the fish was hard and thin and the chips were also not very nice. We had passed Goshen many times and decided to try their fish & Chips etc. The fish & chips are delicious and we are impressed. We now go to Goshen any time we fancy fish & chips. We would highly recommend Goshen chippy

Tried goshen chippy last night for tea as was craving a chippy and Omg they didn’t disappoint and this is the best chippy. There portion sizes are very large and the price is as they say cheap as chips the food is delicious and I will definitely be using goshen chippy again thanks

Good little chippy excellent fish and large very occasionally some of the chips are scraps but definitely worth the visit

Cheap prices with lovely hot food

Fish & Chips awesome, you could feed 2 with one portion size, taste great. They have a varied menu from burgers to kebabs. They are polite and the place is very hygienic. Open from 11am - 7:30pm 6 days a week (8pm Fridays). Closed Sundays. Easy to park. Check it out, you won't be disappointed.

My two boys and I went here for food for the first time tonight. The man serving was very friendly and helpful. The food was magnificent. We look forward to having food from here again.

A fish and chips shop. Apart from fish and chips sells a range of pies, peas and a large number of other cooked foods. Food was freshly prepared and very nice. Price was also good. Well worth a visit if you are in the area.
