Lovely fresh hot fiod. Se4vice is good very quick very clean place too. Pizzas are a real bargain too. Would defently recommend 👌

Rag is very helpful and welcoming my self and work colleagues come here most days for breakfast and I have also tried the chicken tikka of an evening and would highly recommend

This was by far the best Indian food I’ve had. No fuss. No bells and whistles. Just great food. Where I live in the States, I’m surrounded by Indian restaurants, but none like this. Can’t wait to go back when I’m back in the UK.

Absolutely pathetic taste and take it from me as I have eaten good Indian food. They don’t even know what lal mass is, lamb in tomoto paste. Wrongly advertised that the jodhpurs cook are working. I am hundred percent sure, it is Bangladeshi cook disguised as expert in Indian cooking. I ordered today with deliveroo and everything was pathetic.

£4 for this cheese on toast, bit of a scam compared for what was charged, not worth the money

Never again… The food was not very good compared to others locally. The service was terrible, I think it’s one of the owners Joel, who’d been very unprofessional and kind of rude. Despite whatever his friends reviewed 5* here, the cafe doesn’t even deserve 1 star. Won’t recommend it to anyone.

Left half the food total reason why cold and very poor quality did offer to replace meal. Reclaim in there would never be a next time.

We stopped eating Indian food as last few orders were very poor although all of them from different restaurants. Since this outlet has opened I have been going there for breakfast. Their full English breakfast is very good and the coffee is excellent too. With an added bonus, they started serving Indian cousins in the evening. I was curious and went for Indian food on Sunday. That was the best Biriyani I have had in Basildon. Both lamb and chicken biriyanis were very good. This is definitely one of the best, if not the best, Indian restaurant in Basildon. Moreover, you can have it with a pint or a glass of gin and tonic or may be whiskey on the rocks as they serve alcohol too. Great location - next to a Coop with dedicated customer parking space, good price and very tasty food. Highly recommended.

Slow service, Childs portion size and cold

Really liked the food. It is very tasty and most importantly the different dishes have their different flavour as they should be and does not share the same gravy. By far the best place in and around Basildon to have Indian delicacy.

Must try place. We had quite a bit if takeaway for a house party and the food was great. We especially loved the Karahi Lamb and Saag Aloo.

Popped in there yesterday for a breakfast, I was the ONLY customer! Just me!! he still managed to cook me the wrong breakfast 🤔 Unable to reply. Edit:: Good morning, I ordered the full meal breakfast with an extra hash brown, and got the max breakfast, I totally understand if the cafe is busy but it was empty. I did have trouble understanding him , so maybe he had trouble understanding me 🙅 It's the second breakfast I've had here as I'm just around the corner, and the first breakfast I had the mushrooms were missing. Wonderful cosy ambience. Loved the “trio chicken tikka” and the “veg cutlet” dishes with the live world cup match :-) Must try.

Never been to a Caffe worse than this in my life . Friday goes not cute got told to talk to scrambled egg even though on menu sausages must be the cheapest one you could possibly buy only brown bread for toast . Told Gin from behind the counter was the worst breakfast ever offered a free breakfast next time I went in don’t think so.

Staff are really friendly and understanding, great service, good food. Good prices too!

We had fish and chips some burgers and chicken platters, all food tasted fresh and delicious. Will be back again soon.

The muffins were delightful! Plus there was a great scenery and the coffee was sensational, not too bitter.

Amazing place to go! I would recommend it to many people! The muffins there were extravagent, I particularly liked the M&Ms flavour.

The M&M muffins were wonderful and the café in my opinion is the best in Basildon!

Lovely little place in a surprising location. Coffee was excellent, strong and smooth enough and not bitter. We shared a toasted flatbread with mozzarella, pesto, tomato and basil. It was very good. Very friendly staff and great value, will definitely go again.
