I had a Veggie Juana burrito and it was awful. Bland and the vegetables/salad inside did not taste fresh. Good life eatery looks good on the surface but dig a bit deeper and it’s just a rip off and poor quality. Very disappointing

Very possibly the worst ‘coffee’ I’ve ever experienced. If I hadn’t been told it was coffee, I would have guessed it was just hot water and a bit of milk. It was undrinkable, so I left the full cup. The ‘banana’ muffin was equally bland. The only flavour I could discern was ‘faintly sweet’. I took one bite and left the rest (even though I was starving). I put this place firmly on my ‘Never again’ list.

I am a sort of regular here. I have been here many times but not consistently. What I noticed today was two staff doing amazingly well with very demanding clientele and a a lack of resources. It was clear to me (I am an ex-retailer) the the place was understaffed. Nevertheless, Nazmul and Dircia (I asked for their names as I left) wore a smile and did their best to serve everyone. Well done both of you. I could see how hard you were trying despite the odds. I had a great time. And by the way those berry smoothies are completely yumm!

It took them forever to serve a simple ham and cheese croissant and eggs on toast. Very very slow service and nothing special about this place.

The wait time - even for take out - is extremely long here. This has been our experience on multiple occasions and earlier today we had to wait 20 minutes for a toasted croissant! Their explanation was that there was only 1 small toaster for the whole restaurant. The restaurant didn’t appear that full either. Definitely not full enough to justify a 20 minute wait for a croissant. Moreover the kitchen downstairs, which was visible from the washrooms, looked disorderly and potentially unhygienic. It didn’t give me comfort, let’s put it that way. My sense is that, despite the staff being apologetic and respectful, this place is mismanaged and could operate a lot more efficiently to provide a better service to customers. It’s a pity because their coffee is quite good and some of their menu items are tasty too, including their salads, bowls and juices. All in all, 2-3 stars feels like the right rating as we probably won’t be rushing to come back.

We stopped for lunch here and the food was really good and tasty. Simple atmosphere and clean environment. Used the toilet, and it was clean as well. General value: 8 out of 10 Food: 9 out of 10

An overall welcoming and friendly place to go. When the music is just so, there is a nice atmosphere and the coffee and food are both good. I recommend this cafe to people who want tasty food and great drinks in an informal restaurant.

Nice brunch. Egg white frittata and americano were good! Freshly made. Service was a lot better. Really busy Sunday morning. Clean for once! Not cheap at all.

I always have a love hate relationship with them. Either good or bad. No middle ground. Today good. Service has improved. Busy. They still need to focus on cleaning although it was better than normal. I had a coffee and the egg white frittata which was nice. Healthy and filling. Well presented. Their main focus is healthy food with a lot of vegan options. This branch is always busy.

Add £10 for a bowl of salad I did not expect to find the chicken chewy and rubbery. The lettuce too did not appear to be fresh at all. I would honestly say I've had better meal deals from leading supermarkets at less than half the price. This place used to be good a few years ago. I certainly wouldn't go back in a hurry

Cinnamon bun was hard to chew as it was stale. I bought it at 8:45AM so I presume they kept some unfresh baked goods from last night and continued to sell them. Was terrible. Quality of food and drinks feels like dingy food truck breakfast quality wrapped in a nice cup and packaging with chic minimalist decor in the restaurant.

The value mismatch is serious at this place; decor minimal, food quality; hit or miss; coffee very good.

Agree with the reviews. For me, very hit and miss in terms of food and service.  Today was more a hit.  I had the egg white frittata which was dairy free. Comes with a cashew pesto.  The frittata was delicious.  I didn't bother with the pesto as the frittata was sufficient for me on it's own.  Packed with vegetables.  Very healthy!  The slice looks small but it was filling.  Too pricey especially given the portion size. This is the same for most of their menu.  What I can never understand is why the food is always cold.  Would recommend if you catch them on a good day!

My fiancé and I went in for a coffee and one of the chaps behind the counter was incredibly rude when dealing with us. There’s so many choices for coffee in the area that we won’t be going back. Kindness costs nothing.

Very disappointed in the allergy and so called “gluten free” options at Good Life Eatery. The waitress refused to suggest that the gluten free products were prepared in a safe environment.

I came here this morning to grab a healthy lunch. £14.75 for this (tiny) lousy salad (see picture). Never going back there again. Total rip off.
