Used to go to school nearby and I love this part of Bath, the ‘poets corner’. This café perfect compliments the chilled out vibe of the area. Lovely food and great staff. Will be back soon!

An amazing little spot for lunch! The food came out fast and the ciabatta with parma ham and aubergine was delicious. We had a little cake as a treat and that was tasty aswell, I will definitely come back!

Fabulous atmosphere. The music was so cheerful. Not too loud and upbeat songs from 60s and 70s. We noticed that there was a lot of repeat business, with staff and customers recognising each other. We had not been before and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The vegan and veggie breakfasts were great. We particularly liked the chickpea patty (a little spicy). Despite a complaint of the coffee being too hot in another review (or perhaps because of?), for us it was perfect. We left here in great spirits and ready for a busy day.

Went to grab some lunch here with my partner we had Sardines from the lunch specials menu and sausage bacon and egg sandwich from the brunch menu. Service is order at till but was efficient food was really good and they also serve wine and beer along with the expected tea and coffee. Would definitely come again a lot of the food is locally sourced and well cooked.

Nice place with good selection of local treats / produce- unfortunately pastries a little stale and the coffee is so hot it is verging on undrinkable ! Waited 50 minutes for take out coffee to reach a drinkable temperature. Obviously this means that the beans and milk tasted a bit burnt, even once the drink had cooled. Serving coffee at the appropriate temperature would definitely boost my rating of this cafe.

My partner and I come for lunch often. The food is wholesome and beautifully presented, the atmosphere cosy and relaxed, and the staff super friendly. They also sell some Sardinian wines and specialties - a rare find in the UK! I highly recommend popping in to anyone seeking beautiful food and coffee at a reasonable price.

We came across this place for a quick lunch and it was a great little surprise. Place is welcoming and well decorated. The real surprise was the Italian menu along side the full English etc.. we had a great sausage and mushrooms casserole as well as gnocchi with aubergine. Owner is Italian I believe so great options on the menu

Without question…The Best! Regularly my stop off to work to grab a coffee or two. Friday treats to a Vegetarian breakfast is where my weekend starts . This is just the place to be. Extremely busy yet relaxed and cosy. Super service from friendly staff. The food is just right and always delicious. The coffee is smooth and not bitter or grainy. It’s a tucked away little secret haven that many know about, and you should too. Fresh baked bread and produce for sale…plenty of moreish cakes…I could go on, but my food is here!

I was introduced to this wonderful gem by my walking friend and her two dogs.We popped into the cafe for brunch after a long walk around the park.Taking in the beautiful panoramic views of Bath and the parks wonderful space to enjoy.A precious chat whilst walking to then have our much needed coffees before choosing from the extensive menu! This is such a friendly place to meet.The food is the icing on the cake! Truly wonderful.Thankyou!

This is a gem of a local cafe. Friendly staff, nice selection of home baked cakes and good coffee makes a hard combination to beat. It was a great find when straying on the SW edges of this beautiful city. The homemade chocolate cake with a cappucino made a welcome duo at the end of a day's walking.

Went to this delightful cafe on a Monday morning. The atmosphere was casual with plenty of seating , the prices were good value for money however the food was amazing with both me and wife being a it of a conesiur of cooked breakfasts across the country felt this was one of the nicest we had tried and would recommend it heavily

Just read the previous reviews and someone mentioned that they hated the Fennel Sausage. I’ve just had the full English breakfast and it was very well presented with baby tomatoes, sliced baby potatoes, a rasher of bacon, button mushrooms, fried egg and the fennel sausage was to die for. I’m told that the fennel sausage is popular in Italy. You can’t really buy them in the shops here ( which is a shame!). As a connoisseur of breakfasts in Bath, this is the best so far !

Very disappointed with portion smashed avocado today. Much smaller than the last time I visited - not represent value for money in comparison with the same dish at Velo. Shame as I’ve always previously been satisfied and it’s local to me 😞

We had breakfast here and everything was great.... except for the Sausage. Fennel Sausage is a very strong item to have on the breakfast, not to our taste I'm afraid

This is our favourite local cafe. Delicious food, coffee and also serves alcohol. Seats in and out (outside gets the morning sun). We haven’t had the chance to attend one of their supper evenings but plan on doing so.
