Been ordering from here since i was 16 in now 45 and still use and always lovely food never had anything bad from here

Had food delivered called 2 c if fresh or frozen product obs frozen cuz replaced in 20 mins still cold in middle an tasteless ive used this chinese 4 ova 35 yrs but neva again

Went to Golden Gate for a take away as my usual Chinese take away was closed ( Monday) We ordered a variety of dishes all of which were extremely tasty. All my family commented on how nice the food was and how much meat the dishes contained. We will be ordering again.

Excellent service, we phoned up expecting to be told it would 1/2hr wait or longer only to be told it would be ready in 20mins. By time we drove down, paid it was ready. In comparison to our Chinese in Cornwall the service was far better, food was just as good 👍 top service and definitely go back again when up in Telford

Placed an order at 5:00pm was told it will be 45 mins, 6pm still nothing, half past 6 turned and it arrived, the chicken with gravy look awful. The ‘gravy’ looks like thick black tar, most of it was cold and we still had to pay full price

Was recommended to this place by a regular. Special curry was good, quite meaty & chips nice & crunchy. Had roast pork with water chest & Bamboo shoots last night, again good but they don't do a small portion of chips which is a shame. Service was v quick

Shame love the food but went there spent 35 pound and there was food missing went straight back to them only took me about 5 mins to get back to them and was told I'm band now witch is a shame as love the food but they were so rude when I went back

Very poor. All the dishes we bought were completely tasteless and low quality. Shame as it used to be a good Chinese, but we will definitely not be going back there again as it has gone completely downhill.

Good takeaway. The food always hot and fresh. It's a Busy takeaway, customers should be prepared and be patient as it's only one lady taking the orders front of house and on the phone :) good price and also deliver - bonus

Food was not good,ribs dry and tasted old,veg with the ribs was slimy,beef curry tasted off rice must of been cooked day beforehand chips old and crunchy, ignorant lady serving not like when fran and uncle ran it never use again

Sweet and sour chicken was really nice, but salt and pepper chicken was extremely salty to the point couldn't eat them and hardly any chillie or onions in them

Cold stale chips.lukewarm rice, considering it took ages to get through so guessed they were busy. Food very disappointing 😞

Ordered a prawn and chicken curry. Ordered sweet and sour chicken balls Ordered rice Ordered chips and gravey. Curry was wrong beef instead of prawn. Pork balls instead of chicken. Chips and rice was correct. Wasn't best pleased. Rang up didn't get very positive response when I rang to complain. Been going there for years. I won't be going again.

Used to be good, ordered last night curry came not even warm. Delivery time was fine. Mushrooms were not cooked, tasted vile the special curry did. We all threw it away £20 in the bin, we’ve all had bad stomach ache since , il never order from here again, used to be our local Chinese but we had a bad one 2 months ago so thought we would try again. But not a patch on the wishing star shifnal just Shame they don’t deliver hence why we tried golden gate again last night to be left disappointed

*Cash only? In 2022? Everyone uses card now! Chinese take-aways need to catch up with the rest of the world! However... *Arrived in 30 minutes. Delivery man very friendly. *Food was very good, tasty and hot. I had king prawn & chicken curry (good chicken for a Chinese and big prawns! Be nice to have some peas in the curry?), with crispy chips, yeung chow fried rice, sweet & sour sauce, and prawn crackers (note - they charge for prawn crackers). *Cost £21.80. Plenty for two dinners. *Would certainly order again. Thank you very much! Ps - I would give 5 stars if they took card, and gave free prawn crackers like other places. But food and service was very good!

The food is very nice. The best in Telford.

This was the first time I have ordered from here and I was hesitant. But they did not disappoint. It was absolutely beautiful! Can't fault it. Also they are the cheapest Chinese I have ordered from aswell.

The food was alright but but really bad service missed the main parts of my order even after repeating the order to my they need someone ells taking call she can wash up was disgusting they way I was spoken to and tried making out like it was my fault thank but no thanks won't be going there again

6 November we had food it wasn’t very nice it’s going downhill need to get a new chef we have been going there for 20-30 years but won’t be going again for food that makes you ill

Very scruffy delivery driver, but he was pleasant. It was our 1st order ever from here and we were both disappointed. Chicken Curry was very bland and Egg Fried Rice, hardly had any Egg in it. Will not be going back.

I order most weeks I have recommended to lots but tonight 40 down drain !! Everything was vile and no taste had to make a complaint a while back but this is another level

My family have just polished off; Chicken Curry Chicken Chow Mein Salt & Pepper Chicken Large Chips Gravy (super sweet..got to be Telfords greatest!) OMG...absolutely delicious! Everything cooked as it should be (no overcooked scratty chips). Ready when they said it would be with free Prawn Crackers and Fortune Cookie £18. Friendly staff too!..Cant ask for much more really. Only negative..they dont open on a Tuesday 😁
