Disappointing to say the least. Order arrived not even close to warm. The curry is so watery a puddle of water has formed in the corner of the plate. Won’t be using this place again.

This is Indian food done right. The waiters were lovely , the service was great and the food came out very quick and good for people who like to save some money as they constantly have deals going on 10/10 definitely would come again

Not as nice as previous orders which was disappointing this time. Also order had missing puri in with the chicken chaat puri.

Read me my order back came with not the full order then refused to drop so I had half a dinner which I didn't eat as it was just sauce and meat charges me nearly £40. And the delivery driver was rude got to us my partner asked if he was ok, to which the delivery driver replying was until I got here. He also looked like Jeffrey dalmer

Totally fabulous, from start to finish. We had take away. The Goan fish fillets are mouth watering. Pilau rice & Naan bread great too. Plus, the staff are incredible. After a short stroll, the terrific waiter met us at the door with our meal in one of their pretty purple bags. 10 out of 10 for everything...you'll love it. ❤️

Was gutted! Been looking forward to this, food arrived luke warm after having to ring and chase to find out where it was. Was told they were waiting for the driver to return to the restaurant, but no doubt our food was probably the last of many in one round. The only thing that was of a good temperature was the rice! For some reason the chicken tikka masala’s were literally swimming in loads of water (or oil) but it wasn’t the greatest. Majority of the order went in the bin :(

This was one of the best Indian takeaways that we have had recently. All the dishes were full of flavour. Lovely crispy onion bahjis, delicious curries. We will be re-ordering soon!

The food was piping hot and tasted lovely but I ordered a coconut Nan and there was hardly any coconut in it.

Ordered for 3pm and got it at 6.15pm. In calls they said they had delivered it to the wrong address and would cook a new one fresh. When eventually it was delivered the driver said he had not delivered it elsewhere so we were lied to. Disgraceful.

No doubt that the curry is awesome (it always is). Frustrating as there’s NO salad or mint sauce so Doris has the right hump. Can’t request these though JustEat so all in all mediocre 🙄

Golden haze really lost its way. really watery, tiny amounts of meat. the rice and onion Baji are still really nice though.

Hi my name is paul and myself and wife and our children was having a little break away for a caravan holiday, and my wife suggested to get a indian for dinner, we chose this one hoping it would be good as we are foodies,and were glad we did as this indian takeaway/ restaurant was absolutely delicious and we will definitely be dining inside next time we are in clacton, I arrived to collect our order and was friendly greeted which was nice. also we think the menu is reasonly priced too. Thankyou to the golden curry.

Had a meal in the restaurant last night and ordered my husband a take away. When I got home I found I had been charged and given 3 pilau rice with my order. This isn’t the first time this restaurant has tried to over charge! Disgusting! I will not use again!

Lovely flavours with the chicken biryani and the vegetable curry that comes with it was very tasty. Delivered quickly and on time very hot. Will definitely order again. I recommend we have ordered a lot and every time it has been lovely.

Love this place but tonight was underwhelming. Onion bhaji texture was like the been cooked for a week, chicken tikka main came with a starter salad (although the chicken itself was nice). Everything else was ok but nothing more. All in all… meh

Best Dhansak I think I've ever had!! Naan very good too, very good portions with plenty of chicken... alas the poppadoms weren't fresh , but overall very good meal! Will definitely go back when in Clacton again.

Amazing food and turned up early!

ordered take away. staff when taking order by phone were rude. Food was poor. I ordered chicken vindaloo which when eating certainly didnt taste of vindaloo more madras. (this is not thee first time it has happened)I would not recommend this curry place & will not be using them again.

The restaurant is lovely. Staff are polite and helpful. We also order takeaways regularly. The food is cooked with loving care. I have tried several dishes from the menu and all have been amazing. My favourite is chicken tikka dansak and my husbands is butter chicken. The portions are very large and very tasty. You must try some of the special dishes. I love this restaurant/ takeaway for the food and the service and I will always return.

If during the week it’s not too bad altho food really had no taste. Do not go at the weekend if you want your dinner with in the hour. It won’t happen. Poor young lad is run of feet. If they had warned us we would never had stayed

The food was really good, but we ordered in time for food to be here for 17.50ish but it didn't arrive till near 18.30!! By which time, we had to rush through the meal to meet a prior engagement. We didn't receive a message and to phone twice to chase the order! Very bad delivery!

Had a nice meal in this restaurant and spoke to the manager at the time and he said no problem with takeaways. If it’s a little bit too far it will cost an extra £2 as the food was good in the restaurant. I decided a few weeks later to have a takeaway when I try to order The guy over the phone once the order was taken and the postcode given. He totally refused to deliver it saying it was too far. Only takes five minutes to get to the restaurant by car from my postcode very disappointed and because of this won’t visit the restaurant again.

sadly three times now I still haven't received the two cans I ordered from two orders before no one reads notes or orders . we both have had wrong dishes tonight mind had nuts and hubby had lots on onion on top not potato. try ringing couldn't get through my hubby can't have nuts so good job he never ate any. you need to get your act together . The driver was pleasant

Have lived in Great Bentley since July 22 and have finally found an Indian that we like. Went to the restaurant on a Monday and all tho we had the place literally to ourselves it was absolutely lovely. Will definitely be having delivery as well. Tried their salmon starters. Was delicious. Highly recommend

We ordered Butter Chicken and Kacchi Biriyani. While the food was not bad, but it was not what it is supposed to be. Like the biriyani is not any near to Kacchi Biriyani. It can be said lamb fried rice. I don’t know why you have to name something which is not actually that dish. Either the management does not know what Kacchi Biriyani is or they are trying to steal a popular traditional Bangladeshi dish's name without justifying the name. Butter chicken was okay but too sweet. But overall the food was not bad, it was freshly cooked and rightly spiced.

3 hours for food and no apology.

It’s that time of year so expected with the delay but as always the food was absolutely beautiful The girl on the phone was absolutely brilliant and even tho the pressure she was under and the delivery driver was spot on as always 😊

Placed a order for delivery was 1 hour and a half then when my food got to me it was oil everywhere all over the food bag was dripping got all over my hand not happy

First time ordering from here, and this will definitely be our go to Indian. The food was full of flavour, everything was cooked to perfection. Only 4 stars as our delivery could’ve been a bit hotter, was more warm than hot. But thank you so much!

The portions have got very small and the price has gone up loads not the golden curry I love they have just got tight and flavours wasn’t there

Chicken was terrible, funny taste and like rubber, inedible.

Almost too much choice, it took a long time for two of us to decide. But both dishes were excellent. Only down side for me was that they no longer have tablecloths.
