Watery sauces and tasteless meats... Had a case of Delhi belly one time too many so this place is on my avoid list !

Although the food was late, it was very tasty and great quality, the driver apologized for the lateness, but in fairness it was a Friday evening, and the meal itself far outweighed any negativity from my part. Thank you Golden Curry!!!

Best Indian takeaway in Medway!

Have been ordering from here for a long time now and food is always great only place I ever order Indian food from thank you!

Stale poppadoms, burnt naan, chicken tikka dry and tough, bland balti and bhuna- both lacked spice/flavouring. Wouldn’t rush back to order.

Absolutely spot on as it is every time.

Don’t think the food was as good as it had been the chicken tikka sauce was more watery and orange not its normal red colour was very disappointed.

Absolutely appalling chicken tough and chewy. Dhansak sauce bland used this for years no more. Lamb Birayni disgusting

Our delivery time was already stated as 1:15hr after we had ordered but we accepted that, we then had to wait another 25 mins for our food to arrive after that delivery time was given. Called to see how long our order would be and was given terrible customer service, not even a sorry. Only said “it was on its way”. Arrived cold and so greasy, just made the whole experience terrible.

I have had your food many times and has always been good but tonight the lamb was very tough and it had a funny smell and didn’t taste that good. An awful shame

Delivery good, food had no flavour, poor at best.

Delivery took one and a half hours. Onion bhaji were nice but the bag they put them in was literally dripping in grease. Chicken pakora were like chicken balls from a Chinese only soggy and very greasy. Keema naan was cold. Chicken korma had the thickest sauce I've ever seen and chicken was dry. The only good thing about the meal was the mushroom rice. Will I order from this place again? absolutely not.

I always use Golden Curry. Have had it even since a little kid. Chapattis are amazing too. One thing to note; If you call up and ask for no oil, it will be a way lesser mess :)

Food was missing, only 1 item turned up and that was one portion of chips

I don't know what has been done to the food quality but the last few times we have ordered it's been below the usual standard we have come to enjoy the last 13 years. Last time the rice was literally dripping wet we had to drain it, the sauces were very bland especially the korma which is very sweet usually and is why it's my favourite from there. I had hoped it was just an off day and after tonight I doubt I will go back as this was even worse. This time the masala and korma sauces were extremely watered down and it wasn't until it was served up that it became apparent as it seperarated from the sauces which again had barely any flavour. It quite literally ruined the meal for me and I couldn't eat it. I'm sad to leave this review but something has clearly changed with the way things are being done.

Good as always however it wasn’t very hot even though I’m 5 mins from the restaurant. I had to reheat everything.

Been visiting for 30 years. But not recently so gave another go and they are still at the top of their game. Def recommend

I would like a refund as I am staying at hotel holiday inn and the delivery was so late and the restaurant was closed so I didn't get my dinner till nearly 35mins later. I also called beforehand to ask for spoon and fork as the hotel restaurant was cold my food came cold and tasteless

Apart from the wait time 1hr 45mins bearing in mind it’s a 5min drive. The food was absolutely lovely and thoroughly enjoyed the whole meal.

If you actually like flavour in your curry I'd recommend searching somewhere else. Rice was awful, tasted like plain steamed rice, the tikka masala was incredibly watery and again, didn't really have much flavour (just a lot of food colouring). The texture of a good tikka just wasn't there either. Peshwari naan was okay but nothing to write home about and the Saag aloo wasn't good. Spend the extra couple of quid and go to bombay to Gillingham or ghurka brothers. You'll get a much more satisfying meal

No flavour... colourless and tasteless. Could get better in iceland box meal. Small portion.. Cold. Hate to give a bad review but have to give.my honest opinion.

Have been ordering food from golden curry for 26 years and it has always been great.

First time in ordering and after reading the reviews we was very disappointed. The tikka literally tasted like a grilled chicken breast with no flavour at all. The biriyani also tasted so bland. Will not be ordering from there again :(

I thought my meal was absolutely delicious! I only ever order the same few items from an Indian takeaway so easy to do comparisons. My first order from the Golden Curry (def not my last!) and I was really impressed. Tasty food, piping hot and delivered with a smile ... what's not to love.

Found the food to be rather tasteless. Not one of my dishes was bursting with any sort of flavours. Needed to add salt to all of them just to give the food some sort of boost!

Have been getting home delivery from here for a few weeks now and have never been disappointed. Food absolutely delicious and still hot. Always on time with the delivery. Cannot fault anything.

I've been looking for a different curry takeaway for a while and after reading the reviews for Golden curry I decided to give them a try Without a doubt the best curry and side dishes I have had in a few years. Very generous portions including chicken pieces. The curry sauce was beautiful. Very reasonably priced too. Thank you Golden curry you have a new customer now.👍❤️

Took a risk with a new curry place today and it didn't dissapoint. You have just earned yourself a new customer for life! Please don't let your standards slip cos I freaking love a good curry and that was genuinely 10/10 if you did a saag with some extra chillies in it, easy 11/10.

Ordered for collection. Staff were lovely and the food was ready right when he said it would be (20 mins from ordering). Food itself was reasonable but the aromas were a little weak for my taste.

Got the lamb tikka massala. Pretty average, wouldn’t say it’s anything too special.

Ordered at 20:09 food arrived at 21:58 the idiot at the shop lied when the food left as the driver left 10 mins when asked but shop man said he left 40 mins ago then food was cold and then they refused a refund only part refund but who wants re heated food when paying top money and to top it off the food was not even that great tasting when I tried it so off to bed after a long shift £60 down

worst curry ive ever had in my entire life. waited over an hour for it to arrive spent over 50 quid. prawn puree was just grease on a plate. the curries flavourless and full of hairs. even the poppadoms were inedible. ranh them to request a full refund for them actually having a go at me for throwing there food in the bin. refusing to refund unless i placed the curry in there containers from the rubbish bin vile place

A regular customer for over 20 years and never been let down. The best chicken tikka dhansak of all places. They wil taylor your dish to suit you. I feel they should promote their potatoe dhansak vegetarian variant that they prepare for Emilie. Excellent Friendly service, fantastic quality food.
