The Golden Castle in Taunton Deane

Friendly staff but food was below average. I wouldn't return again. Only vested as it was one of few open early in the week. Was hopeing for better but very disappointed.

We've only recently moved to Taunton and my wife wanted a chinese takeaway to celebrate her birthday. We phoned our order in to the restaurant. It was ready for collection on time. The food was delicious . We will definitely be making return visits in the future. Highly recommended !!!

We love the gold castle, always 5 star. Amazing value for money and lots of choice. The food is beautiful.

I have been a customer here for over 30 years , But this was the worst takeaway I have had anywhere. Reheated sweet and sour prawns , batter was absolutely dripping in fat and the prawns shrivelled. It was like chewing on rubber. Really disappointed. I will not be having a takeaway from here again.

We ordered 7 dishes plus extras. Everything was lovely as normal and we could not fault the food or the lovely family who served us very well. A fair price for a great meal.

Love the Chinese food from The Golden Castle. I’ve tried others in Taunton but for me, the food here is the best. Would highly recommend.

Love the food here, been going for over 15 years and never been let down. I try something different every time and never been let down. And it's been fun watching the daughter grow up and start working there. Great place for a Chinese meal.

Acabo de pasar una casa especial curry y arroz frito. Era tan sosa y sin sabor que me siento obligado a revisar.El curry tenía una muy pequeña cantidad de pollo cortada muy pequeñas y algunas pequeñas gambas congelados. No ternera o cerdo a diferencia casa especial chino más curry.Esto realmente es el peor que he comido.No he venido aquí de nuevo.

hi all kids chose this place for a special treat for tea one night ,one of the kids had told my kids they get their take away from there all the time.so why not . gave it a go & not bad at all waited 10 mins for order to be ready ,food was hot & tasty ..

Once again visted here for a chinese takeaway and the food was wonderful and hot very please, will keep going back again and again

This is a takeaway and not a restaurant. We have been using this takeaway for more than 10 years. We always get great service and the food is always to our liking. There is usually parking space outside so picking up is less hassle.

Unfortunately the food was very bland. Would not go again purely down to the food we had. Good location and friendly staff.
