The Golden Ark Micropub in Croydon

A diamond little pub serving very good beer and what an excellent range. A good line up of single malts. Friendly owners and interesting music. Long may it remain.

I love micro pubs and am lucky enough to live in an area where we have great ones. But I was a bit disappointed with the Golden Arc. When I walked in it was empty aside from one table and a group of men crowded around the bar. Felt like I had walked into someone's front room but in a bad way. They did not budge to let me get to the bar and whilst I am no prude I really did not need to know about one chaps toiletry habits. Beer and snack selection looked ok but could not get near enough to really see. So went to another micro down the road which was as it always is, far more welcoming. Maybe I just got it on a bad day

Best pub for miles. The beers are immaculately kept and the owner are even better. It isn’t often that I award full marks, but the Ark fully deserves 10/10,

A little gem of a pub.... Visited it on Christmas Eve late afternoon. The selection of drinks here is incredible. The staff so warm and friendly and the clientele the same. Lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend a visit you won't be disappointed. I will definitely be back very soon.

Not your average local pub but a very unique local offering. Very good selection of drinks, and amazingly friendly staff

Well this is a wonderful little Mico pub. Very friendly Bar staff and very knowledgeable about the beers they are serving. Lots of friends chatting. Very convivial for friends and family’s alike Family games are on hand and there is a Dartboard. I noticed. The pub if child and pet friendly. I will be visiting again as there is a mini Beer festival this weekend. Not only catering for the beer drinkers there is a variety of Gins Vodkas and Scotches from around the world.

I have been going to the micro pub for a few months now. The staff are so friendly and helpful, we celebrated our birthday at the pub they put up banners for us and kept the cake in fridge..there was a disco it was such a Brill evening and we keep going back the live music is lively and we get up to dance. My husband love the cheese board - I don't like cheese but the pineapple one is unbelievable. Thank you Maria for always making our evenings as enjoyable as possible

We came here to meet a friend yesterday, We had the warmest welcome as we walked in. The wonderful array of Pale Ales, Beers, Stouts, Gines, Vodka's and Whiskys were nothing short of impressive! Prices of drinks beat the wethersppon up the road hands down, they do service sandwiches, toasties but you do not come here for food, you come to sample great beers and very friendly locals (Rob) and live music...honestly this place is a little Gem in Selsdon...this is a mirco pub with a difference! Highly recommend for other craft beers, Ales, Stout and IPA lovers, they are changed weekly so to keep your love of this stuff interesting and hot!!!
