I went for the Martil Double. It was cooked very well, was piping hot and came quickly, love the sausages and the mushrooms. I also went for the Moroccan mint tea. Have always loved Martil for the food and price. It is a bit small however so there isn’t much seating but it’s most definitely a place to go with friends.

The customer service you will receive here is second to none not to mention the amazing food they have to offer! The portions are generous and made with love! they even give you a side of fruit salad with your order too. I will be coming back here again for sure! 😀

Super little cafe in Croydon… loved the variety and the food was delicious and picture perfect.

Very pleasantly surprised, dishes you won't get anywhere else - we had the 'French meets English' - amazing thick brioche French toast with an English breakfast. The Sweet and Salty - crispy chicken with french toast and sides. Great service and heartwarming to have dishes delivered with a 'bismillah' Excellent brunch, we will be back God willing.

Everything was Excellent. I just wish this place was bigger.

I’ve been here once before to eat in because the food was so great. The price is reasonable and the food is presented nicely. It is a small place so when I went I did decide to get a takeout but it was still quality food which I was pleased with. My favourite is the french toast

The only thing going for this place was the sunshine which happened to be shining. Its, halal for & if you like that then this place might float your boat. We'd ordered two panniers both with fresh veggies and mine was with cheese and one tea. we had to ask for the food having paid upfront all too much for them!! Just a pity this place is not up to its full potential??

The food here is amazing, and it is halal here, too. The food can take a bit long but it is worth it. The seat space isn't large but it is good enough. Please come and enjoy here

Great little local cafe which we visited on our way to Purely Way shops - for "English" breakfast. It thoroughly deserves its high review rating on Google. The food is good and the right amount - the service is great and friendly. Bonus for my family is that its halal - they do veggie too. Coffee is decent as well.

First time trying, heading back gatwick airport. Would recommend and would come back myself. Food was good quality and price was decent.

Really enjoyed this cafe! Everything is Halal here and the staff are extremely friendly. Food was very nice but the actual restaurant itself is quite small and claustrophobic so if you're going with a big group of 6 like we did, expect to have a few issues - but staff were accomodating and after a bit of a wait for the food to come, it was all pretty good

It was my first time going here with friends. The staff are lovely, and the food is a 7/10. I would return to try something new but overall it was pleasant.

I've been to this cafe multiple times, and they have always delivered. My go to choice from the menu is a slight edit of the vegetarian breakfast and some extras listed on the menu also.

I have been wanting to come here for ages and finally last weekend i came here with my sisters! I got the brunch double and the kale smoothie and it was delicious ❤️💙😋😋😋😋😋 so tasty and good and I would 100% be coming here again. The service was fabulous, my only downside to it was that it is just the ground floor and it would be amazing if they extended the cafe more to seating downstairs or upstairs as it did get really noisy and crowdy. Apart from that service and food was delicious.

Fantastic food and presentation

A friend introduced me to this lovely cafe..its open till 5 which is later than most. The food is delicious and cooked perfectly..the plates and portions are the perfect size..coffee are beautiful too..and the staff are lovely even when its really busy ..ive been twice..I will return as the food is good and not out if a tin .. and its presented with care too . Love this cafe ..highly recommended

Fantastic. Fully halal, it says it on their board. I did ask again just to be sure about sausages, and it is. Fantastic little cafe perfect setting for families and couples. The vibe is so chilled i can't explain. Head down to Martil for an amazing brunch or breakfast

Have been looking for a good French toast locally. Found reviews of Martil so gave it a try. Was not disappointed at all! Great options for all, meat eaters and veggies. Friendly service. Will be back for sure.

Bonjour, je suis parti mangé 2 fois tellement s'était excellents, petit déjeuner anglais, américain, méditerranéen ! Je mets un 4 étoiles seulement parce que s'était trop petit, il est malheureusement victime de son succès. Certaines personnes attendais 40min devant la porte pour avoir une place pour goûté se délice !

Our smoothies and vegan/ veggie breakfast were wonderful. Modern decor with great presentation of food. Busy but still didn’t have to wait long. Loved our visit and highly recommend 💫

A nice American style breakfast of pancakes and fruit.

Very nice little cafe, a bit of a wait to sit but not a problem. The food and drinks were fairly quick to arrive, my berry smoothie was delicious and my mashed avo on toast was nice and crispy (a bit small to my liking but I do have a abnormal appetite). My friend enjoyed her American breakfast and mango smoothie. Will definitely come back.

The owner was friendly. I got the egg royal one muffin with smoked salmon and one with turkey ham, they both tasted good. You can tell if a place is good if it gets the egg royal right.

Well, the food is a bit confused, in my personal opinion the food had a few mistakes, One is the pancake: My one was cold, dry and too sweet. The egg,bacon, was cold, too. To be honest, need to keep focus on the temperature.

Great little cafe for a halal brunch. It's fairly small so can get busy with a bit of a wait on the weekends but hopefully in the future they can get a bigger place. Staff are welcoming and friendly.

I used to love your food but for some time the food has lost its quality and taste but today it was so awful that it was impossible to eat and I had to throw all the food away. I ordered my beloved two paninis (goat cheese and carmelised onion and chicken escalopes lemon & herb). In this first panini the butter wasn't even melted (thick layer of butter like on a sandwich). There were literally a few strips of onion, and there wasn't too much cheese either. The chicken panini was downright disgusting. It looks as if someone out of anger squeezed the juice of a whole lemon on the chicken, no lettuce, not even a single leaf. I really don't know what happened to you because I was in love with your food and every friend I flew you to said the same but now it's literally impossible to eat it 😞

We visited from Brighton to see our elderly friend and were very impressed by this cafe, the Mediterranean breakfast was great- we were able to have vegetarian sausages with it, and our friend enjoyed her sausage and mushroom omelette. The very pleasant and friendly woman who served us was so helpful and moved tables together for us. Our visit was a lovely experience and would go every week if we lived close enough!

Very small which is a shame as they would get lots more customers if it was bigger. Food lovely and good staff. The owner (I think) is always welcoming to customers. I totally recommend this cafe

Great food but loooong wait after ordering it. I went there both times and I waited 30/40 minutes. They were a bit busy, so I kind of understand. They serve halal and vegetarian food!

Been to Martil Cafe for the 5th time today as I really enjoyed the food. Took my friend there. Even though it was not busy , my friend got her latte and after 10 mins am still waiting for my mocha. I asked the ladies 2 times already. The green hair girl , told me she had to serve other customers when there were only 3 tables with customers . Instead of apologising, she had an attitude and this is not great if you work in customer service. Even when we were leaving , we said bye but she just looked at us as if we have done her wrong. Maybe she needs more training but this is not why I walked1 hour to come and eat with my best friend to get this cold treatment.if an order is for 2 coffees then both must come together not after 10 mins. I am disappointed.

Although the breakfast was good, the service at Martil Cafe was shockingly bad. Once we were sat down, we waited 20 minutes before menus were given to us, despite asking for them twice. We ordered the Martil Double with poached eggs. The egg centre was severely over cooked, we asked for one to be replaced which they had forgotten to give us until we reminded them yet again. The icing on the cake was that they completely forgot about our french toast order, again after reminding the waitress they put the order through again. Although staff were apologetic, the experience was completely ruined and I will not be returning here again.

Excellent Double-Martil breakfast. If you are looking for great english breakfast in Croydon, this one is probably the best place you can go to.

Came here with my sister today. I got the chicken waffle and a kinder bueno milkshake. My waffle was slightly burnt and overcooked and so it was tough to cut through and eat but the chicken was really juicy and the milkshake was delicious. Would 100% recommend here

The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the food is great. The French breakfast is amazing! Definitely try that if nothing else.
