My profound thanks and gratitude to the team at the Goat Tavern. As usual exceptional service and good attention from the staff who were polite and courteous to our Christmas party of 9. Cannot thank them enough for their efforts and what they do which keeps us coming back to celebrate with them. The venue is comfortable the food was of very good quality for the price, sadly the drinks are a little on the expensive side but if you consider it was a special occasion and the centre of london then this was to be expected.

I had booked a table upstairs for lunch and was surprised to find no staff there. I went downstairs and ordered a drink. The staff there were friendly and efficient. When my friend arrived we were told we should order our food at the bar, go to our table upstairs and we would be served with our meal. We had to take our own bottle of wine and glasses upstairs. Our starters, which were satisfactory, were served fairly promptly, but our main courses were served before we had finished our first course. My steak and ale pie was awful. The crust was so hard I could barely cut through it with a steak knife. The vegetables had gone cold from being left on the table so long. Presumably left in the microwave too long. Won’t be going here again.

We always visit this pub when in London as we find find it very warm and welcoming with a great choice of drinks and friendly staff.

This is the very first time that I have come away from The Goat disappointed in any way. My wife and I called in for a drink and a lunchtime snack on a Saturday afternoon, I ordered the Steak Ciabatta and my wife the Cheese Toasted Sandwich, the Steak was just trimmings of fat a gristle, and the Cheese Toasted Sandwich just a cold cheese mix on toasted bread. The barman did come over and ask “how is the food” when I told him the best response he could give was “sorry that’s what THEY send us” !!!

Im want to shout out to the very helpful staff member who went out of his way to assist me, including messaging his manager to get my pub token processed. He was working on 6 Nov around 5pm to 7pm and I hope he gets rewarded for his attention and kindness!

Fun place to stop in for a pint. It’s busy most of the day and we’re lucky to snag two seats in comfy chairs in the front window. We didn’t get food, but it looked very good. The bar staff were friendly. Great location.

The Goat is the G.OA.T. for our first night in London. Armaani was absolutely fantastic, providing 10/10 service! Food was great & the banana old fashioned is a must.

We stopped in for lunch after a trip in from the states. The food was good and really fit the bill for our first meal after our flight. Barkeep Amali served us great food!

Enjoyed a good lunch of fishcakes and triple cooked chips. Excellent value. Armany was a friendly, helpful and efficient waiter.

I came here on May 24/24 after I finished my day with the HOHO bus, I ended my travels back at this stop and since I started here I was curious on how this place was. I went in and ordered a Pepsi and a fish and chips because I really love the food and wanted to try it here, to say the least I actually enjoy the food, with the fish and chips you get peas too and to my surprise they were very tasty, tasted as if they come right out the pea pods that you would get at a store, snap peas style. So as I said the fish was very good, a large piece, crispy on the outside and soft and tender on the inside and with my experience of some places not serving good quality fish and chips this was not the case thank god, the chips were big pieces and only served a smaller portion which I will say I was disappointed about, for I love fries but they never serve enough of a portion in London Pubs. This place had a nice atmosphere, I don’t recall who served me but it was nice service and the price was a tad pricy at around 17.50 pounds, the typical price point at an English pub I have noticed. Overall, I would come back if I am ever in this part of London again, also I would recommend this pub if you are in the Kensington St area. 5 out of 5 for a great tasting meal 2.5 out of 5 for small fry portion 4.25 out of 5 for a nice decor 4.5 out of 5 for a great atmosphere 4.75 out of 5 overall for a great place in a great location 4.5 out of 5 overall for everything

This looked like a lovely place from the street where we could get a pint and some dinner after a long day. Found some stairs that took us up to a small place to sit. Went back down to the bar to place our order. Our dinner (fish and chips) was absolutely incredible! Our server, Armani, was extremely attentive and made us feel welcome. A wide selection of food and drink to choose from, will go again! Loved it!

We were at pab hreeneking yesterday . I am delighted with the place , the food excellent can match good restaurants , the service professional yet friendly and welcoming . Interior very homely which all together makes you not want to leave this place and I plan to visit again . I would recommend this city to anyone to find out when in London

I was very disappointed. I was delighted to see a specific tab for a gluten-free menu on its website. When we got there, there was not a single gluten-free dish on the menu and the barman who served me wasn’t surprised or sorry.

Armani was one of the best bartenders servers I have ever come across! The food was amazing the service even better! Atmosphere very welcoming! The bartender Armani was what really made us love our visit the drinks were creative and artistic and we never looked for assistance it was right there.

We absolutely LOVED Goat Tavern! Armani was our server and bartender and he was an absolute sweetheart making his suggested drinks, and delivering food to our table even when it was busy. The food was delicious and really modestly priced. Thank you Goat Tavern, I’ll be back :)

Came on a Sunday, had the best dinner, with cold drinks, in a clean and welcoming environment. Staff was very friendly and caring.

We booked a table for 10 people. Luke warm welcome on arrival and told we had to order at the bar. For simplicity we organised ourselves to order in one go. We asked again if we could still have the blue light discount and it was confirmed. A few of us wanted tap water and we were barked at that we would have to get it ourselves. We asked for a tray and again we were told we couldn’t use one in a very rude manner. Should of walked out at this point. During the meal the staff had several stand up arguments with other guests. When we went to pay I showed my I D for the discount and I was shorted at again and told we couldn’t have the discount. It turns out we had to go online to get a discount code but this should of been explained to us beforehand in a civil manner. Not yelled at over the bar. Total disgrace from the manager

ABSOLUTELY APPALLING SERVICE… Do yourself a favour and go across the road…!! The two staff that were serving are rude and abrupt when you eventually get them off their phones. After 40min waiting for nachos we were told we was in a queue… I’m sorry but there’s 20 tables in the whole place 40-60min wait For this one food was atrocious. All in all stay clear.

Very disappointed! Thought this would be decent with using other Greene King pubs in the past. Service was very slow (possibly not helped by finding out the bar staff were openly using their personal mobile phones whilst working) We had to trace down our drinks then proceeded to wait over 45 minutes for food. Which ultimately never arrived as we cancelled it. We were only told there would be a wait for food once enquiring where it was. Had we been informed prior to this we would have gone elsewhere. The barman continued to answer his mobile on numerous occasions whilst working! Incredibly unprofessional! We swiftly went to the none chain pub opposite, over the road and were greeted with 5* service. Will not be visiting this Greene King again!

Popped in for liquid refreshments, very nice gin and tonic an pint of there Goat ale light refreshing Amber ale with very subtle hoos flavours, nice old fashioned English pub atmosphere well worth a vist

We popped in here for a quick lunch on a Saturday and to start with we were a bit disappointed the app wasn’t working properly as we are big fans of ordering on an app it just feels like it makes everything easier. But soon after this the waiter approached us and took our order. He was super efficient and friendly 10/10 service, so we were happy about ordering this way in the end. As this was just a quick “pop in” lunch we had no expectations and don’t usually leave reviews for this kind of experience but the food was exceptionally delicious so feel like we needed to share this! The items that were crispy were the most crispiest things I had ever tasted and the food and drinks overall were 10/10. If we are ever in the area again we would definitely be thinking about visiting.

We have visited this establishment several times, always a nice breather and friendly service and good and cosy atmosphere, yes drinks are a little pricey but the food is fine and we like it.

My partner and I got the fish and mash and scamper and mash. We’re surprised at how small the portions were, especially compared to every other pub meal. Mash was that powdered stuff, not great. At least the beer selection was good and cold.🍺

After shopping on Bond Street we found this great little pub just off the Main Street. The staff was amazing and they had great range of beers. I would highly recommend this pub at any time to my friends.
