The Globe Hotel - JD Wetherspoon in King's Lynn and West Norfolk

Excellent 2 days. Room clean, comfortable, lovely biscuits and drinks supplied. Fantastic quality and price of food and drinks in the bar restaurant and good fast service. How do they do runny eggs for all?! Busy which shows popularity.

Shocking place, even for a spoons...no eggs so cannot do a breakfast, but instead of 2 sausages you can have 3, really?? Won't be coming back.

The wife and I tried there fish and chips and I can say we both enjoyed very much and will return in the near future

Visited The Globe early on a Friday night and found it hard finding a table, as so popular. Large pub, we ordered via app and despite how busy, the drinks arrived within 5 minutes. Great location in town centre. We never stayed but is hotel too

Friendly staff, food and drink fine. Table was clean as was the general interior. Am a regular visitor now and enjoy the location and convenience with app ordering. Worth trying particularly as within a stones throw corn exchange.

Rooms are good and always clean think the staff who are on for the breakfast shift could be a bit more polite when taking your breakfast order

Can't rate the rooms not been in the hotel, just some drinks and cheap meal. Service fast, food is average and also fast. 🙂 Wish there were better vegan options. And they don't make their ramen out of spaghetti!

Ordered a bbq chicken pizza they tried 3 times and even the waitress agreed it was pathetic, wasn’t even to the menu. Eventually walked out for a subway. Awful manager no apology just a regretful refund. How on earth can kitchen staff mess up such a simple dish twice, it’s sauce, cheese, chicken and onion. Blimey

As always with Wetherspoons, situated in a magnificent old preserved building. To me this is what makes Wetherspoons special, and I go out of my way to support them whenever I can

Just a shame that the waiter served us with chipped nail Polish, which we thought was against health and safety for the uk

Really busy place. Had a very friendly waitress Did not stay in hotel. At restaurant for lunch.

Felt like it was a bit of an effort to deal with my order. "Would you like " would be more customer friendly than " do you want ?" and a smile would not go amiss !

Always go here for a meal before a gig. Can get busy so get in early.

I went to celebrate my 18th birthday last night and mind you I have a chronic illness that causes extreme fatigue and I’m autistic as well and not very aware of social cues and I was nodding off a bit at the table and before we had even ordered, a security man came over to the table and asked me to go outside, I tried to tell him I was just tired but it was no use. Because I have really bad anxiety this ruined my night and I had multiple panic attacks. Staff here are just really rude in general and I wont be coming back here and will be warning others not to come here as well. What was supposed to be the most special day of my life was hell.

Standard spoons... Two stars because I'm tired of cold fried eggs on the breakfast. Maybe put them on last or warm the plate.

Waned some food after a long day sightseeing..went to the bar ordered food and kindly asked for help getting my drinks to the bar..the server asked the manager who belted..get her to get them herself..if I had my mobility scooter I may of been able to struggle them but walking with a stick it was not ideal..the food was weather spoon special different coloured peas, over cooked eggs and ham thrown on the plate.. this was a lovely building ideally situated in the centre..toilets were downstairs and amazing but was very upset by the comment by the manager

We went in for breakfast, didn't stay at the hotel. The first waiter who brought the cold drinks was very friendly and welcoming. The waitress with the food was very rude. She shouted at me and waved her hands in the air when I asked whereabouts the hot drinks were (never been here before, so I didn't know, and they're in a different area). Our local spoons brings them to the table, but this one is different. Others turned to see what was going on. Our hot food was stone cold. The mushrooms were filthy. They were full of grit and small stones. We were checking it out with a view to book rooms next month. We didn't bother.

Great hotel, can't go wrong with a wetherspoons hotel.

Very dirty bad staff even worse manager that was more interested in discussing her private relationship with other members of staff for all the customers to hear than doing her job. My self and husband were left feeling very shocked and insulted by the very young and very bad manager I don't do reviews but as we have been ignored by higher management that seems to make it difficult to put in a complaint I'm left with no other option then to do this I would not recommend a visit to that branch .

Stayed in the Globe for 5 nights very nice hotel good value for money and clean very friendly polite, good ale and food nice garden I recommend staying there to anybody in the heart of kings lynn.

I left my charger for my phone there I rung up no one had a clue in the bar area don’t think they even bothered to check so rang the hotel they said they would get back to me still waiting not good. Plus the atmosphere is terrible the staff are rude impatient and I never drink there anymore because it’s really gone downhill

Very large Wetherspoons but we did have to wait long for anything ordered via their app. Great beer garden as well, room as always very clean and comfortable.

The receptionist are a delight 😊, the room was small but had everything you need in it , hairdryer, iron ,ironing board copious amounts of tea and coffee and you can now take your cup from the room and refill in restaurant. Shower and bath . Centrally sited

Great location, right in the middle of town. Staff very friendly and helpful, rooms exceeded our expectations, everything you need. Check in 1400, checkout 1100. Although it doesn’t have its own car park there’s ample parking right on the doorstep

Ste here on a hot evening, day in the outside area. Great value food and drinks. Seagulls are a problem in the open garden, non smoking area though

As far as the hotel went... couldn't fault it, as for bar area..staff were polite but when ordering food it wasn't processed correctly and we didn't get the meals wanted even though it was stipulated exactly...we were told the item requested is listed 3 different ways. Having said that it won't stop us staying again. 9 out of 10.

The hotel, located in central King's Lynn, UK, has a restaurant that I visited (though I didn't stay at the hotel). The restaurant offers an excellent food selection at very affordable prices compared to Finland. The atmosphere is welcoming, and it is very family-friendly, making it an ideal choice for dining with children.

Delicious fish and chips, very good price! Friendly stuff :) highly recommended A***

First time visited this establishment. Didn't stay but had breakfast here. Couldn't fault the vegetarian and traditional breakfast.

The Globe Weatherspoons is in a good location in King's Lynn, especially if you are staying over after attending an event at the Corn Exchange, The place serves a great selection of food and drinks at affordable prices. You can eat either indoors or outside in their garden area, which has a view overlooking the Great River Ouse at the bottom of the garden.

The wait time 5minutes and 45seconds and the fried buttermilk chicken burger and fries are all good.

Amazing pub. It's huge inside and outside. Outside they have one section with tables for smokes and another outside section for non smokers. It's the best Wetherspoon i have been to so far. And i have been in many as you know what you get and what you pay.

Headline | Never had a bad experience in the globe. It is what you sign up for, cheap drink, an atmosphere, and an eye opener if you're a people watcher. Always good for a couple of drinks and something to eat, Always has a gr8 atmosphere, staff could of been better to be honest, it wasn't too busy but we were constantly having to queue and wait which was frustrating at times. This is a pub that works, and if it over got in trouble financially, the pub industry would be doomed 😳. There aren't many other pubs around now that are open, let alone have people in them, so weatherspoons are doing it right, but there is room for improvement

We had a lovely stay. Immaculately clean room, good food and drinks all at a very reasonable price. The staff are friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend it if in Kings Lynn.

Always happy to drink n eat in here. Food is the norm for a weather's and Drinks reasonably gd prices. Like the coffee machines and nice that u pay for your cup basically and then can fill up as many times you want. Friendly staff.

Lovely little pub, staff are very friendly but I would avoid on a weekend evening..!! Especially in the evening when it's full of what can only be described as under age teenagers binge drinking which spoils the whole atmosphere

Just like most of this chain of outlets . Some interesting clientele when we visited.The food was what you expect from a Wetherspoons . Service was efficient.

Always love staying at the Globe. Single rooms are great, the shower in room 211 was extremely powerful, really great. Free unlimited hot drink with breakfast in the pub. Great cheap food and quick service. Always my go to place in kings Lynn for a quick break.

Had breakfast in there last Sunday morning absolute pig swill microwaved hard fried eggs rock hard hash browns rubbery bacon I have fry up all over this worst ever !!!

Nice comfortable hotel, with friendly staff situated right in the center of kings Lynn, rooms are cleaned and replenished every day, love the option of taking your cup from your room and have a tea, coffee, hot chocolate with no extra charge in the weatherspoons pub, food was decent, hot and prompt, the cookie dough sandwich is excellent, enjoyable stay at this weatherspoons hotel, there is no car park attached though but a large car park right in the main square opposite with reasonable charges definitely visit again at some point 👍

After completing a walk from Hunstanton to kings Lynn. The beers were so good. It dulled the pains. 😁

You cant fault this spoons! Great staff, awesome large venue with lively outdoors garden right beside the river... For what you pay... the food is consistently good and drinks are good value 4 money... I have not stayed in the hotel for some years and so I did not review those..

Just meet friends nice place a little dark for my liking but good service
