I had a lovely break in Kings Lynn staying at the Dukes Head. The staff went out of their way to be helpful, changing my room when there was a problem & always ready to help at the desk. The rooms were clean and comfortable with big showers and all needed facilities. Full English breakfast was tasty and there were pastries and unlimited tea/coffee, toast and juice. I really enjoyed staying in this hotel

Don't stay here on a Saturday night! Booming bass from the ballroom parties. Room walls are very thin and you can also hear everything said and done in adjacent room.

Popped in for an impromptu Sunday roast (pork as it happens) and it really was delicious. At £12.95 it’s great value too. Everything cooked beautifully and the service has been excellent. We aren’t staying here but will next time. It is really oldy worldy and in a good state of repair. Recommend!

i had a very nice stay. The waiter, Mark, and bar manager Ashley were particularly helpful and had great attitudes. The food was nice. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

We had some issues with our room, the floor above was staff accommodation and they made a lot of noise late when they had finished their shift.wifi was very inconsistent, and the shower pressure very weak, heating was very difficult to set and we had to open the window to cool the room down.Shame because the food and staff were very good.

Lovely hotel really good location. service was excellent and a bonus wonderful proper cocktails. Very good cooked breakfast with gluten free options. Only downside was the lighting in the rooms was so muted hard to see to put makeup on and had to use the light on my phone to read. I would definitely stay here again.

Fabulous 4 night stay, staff very attentive, friendly and polite. Rooms are clean and comfortable, carpet could do with being replaced but I was satisfied. The food was excellent, thank you..

My family are home from Canada for 2weeks, met up in the bar for food, booking was very flexibile as we had to change times due to train delays. Once we arrived, a guy called Ashley and another chap who I missed his name? in the bar they were so professional, polite, made us feel so at ease, looked after us all evening, plus food was great, made our experience of the Dukes one to remember. Thank you guys, keep it up, an asset to the Dukes Head.

Booked 3 days fri-mon drove 5 hours from Carlisle. Stay multiple times at this hotel. Unfortunately had a family emergency checked out the very next day leaving two days early. Did try to ask for a one day refund.... Due to the emergency and the 5 hour drive back. The manager said under no circumstances he stated that he spoke with the head office and was told this. Unfortuately after this I will no longer be using this hotel chain including the Dragon fly hotel kings lynn....no compassion or reasoning.

Great location in Kings Lynn, close to everything you need. Parking can be a challenge, but that's more of a Kings Lynn problem than a problem for this hotel. Rooms are on the small side and the power outlets are not conveniently placed, but they are well maintained and have a comfy bed. Great value for money here.

Hotel's own car parking is small, cramped, confused & frustrating - it lacks customer focus which makes the receptionist's job difficult. Parking signs are confusing & probably non-compliant with consumer law. Hotel accommodation is okay & location very central. Public car parking costs more than £5 for 24 hours.

A bit run down in places and limited service but the location could not be better and the price reasonable

Very well located hotel. We were in the old part with the charm of the old. From the parking lot at the back, it is not immediately easy to find the entrance to the hotel.

It's quite sad reading some of these reviews I can only say a lot seems to have changed ,I worked there many years ago ,it was beautiful food was excellent service had to be good otherwise we would be reprimanded we had to be very respectful Regardless oof what happened the customer was always right ,it was spotless ,we worked very hard ,the hotel had a very good reputation .at one time sandringham house was having renovations so royal overspill stayed there ,the queen came in to check everything out .It's unfortunate things have gotten bad .I guess times change .

Great things have been said about this Chinese takeaway, but sadly, I’ll never know. Turns out their secret ingredient is cash—cards are strictly forbidden. I half-expected them to request gold coins or barter a goat for some crispy duck. Left hungry and baffled. Pro tip: bring cash, or it’s just a menu-reading experience. Maybe they should join the modern era, take cards, and pay taxes like the rest of us. Until then, I’ll stick to places where my purse isn’t stuck in the ’80s.
