Jade Garden in King's Lynn and West Norfolk

Great things have been said about this Chinese takeaway, but sadly, I’ll never know. Turns out their secret ingredient is cash—cards are strictly forbidden. I half-expected them to request gold coins or barter a goat for some crispy duck. Left hungry and baffled. Pro tip: bring cash, or it’s just a menu-reading experience. Maybe they should join the modern era, take cards, and pay taxes like the rest of us. Until then, I’ll stick to places where my purse isn’t stuck in the ’80s.

Ordered several soups and they had clearly dumped too much white pepper in as all the soups were all inedible. To top it off I also ordered Cantonese steak and got crispy shredded beef totally different dish I couldn't eat as can't have batter. Phoned to complain and met a wall of lies and excuses. Avoid at all costs. No point going back as it's a 40 mile round trip.

No frills entrance, but from then on first class food and service from front of house... 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

Where to start!….firstly one item was wrong, I ordered beef chow main but I received something totally different, a mixed meat and prawn concoction in a strange sauce that had no flavour. Lemon chicken was stringy, over cooked and was more pineapple than lemon. Ribs were hard and over cooked but the sauce did taste nice! King prawns with cashews were tasteless Chicken with cashews in yellow bean sauce, too many veggies and not much chicken, the sauce tasted nice but more like a broth. Chicken balls were bouncy not crispy and the only thing that was nice was the chicken fried rice!! Please NO NOT GO THERE it was a waste of money and my family were all very disappointed.

I really love their House special chow mein in Szechuan style And all food is superb. Highly recommended. Thanks for all the meals we've had that have been so delicious and enjoyable.

Used jade garden for years, one of the few Chinese takeaways that will deliver to us in Gayton.. Food is always perfect.

Used to be good, but lately the food as seemed to be off! Cost almost £50 for two of us last night and my special fried rice smelled awful to the point even my cats would not touch the meat inside. My banana fritter was rotten inside also and not just a black banana it was awful.

Fantastic take away, one of if not the best in the King's Lynn area. The food is always fantastically cooked, full of flavour and very reasonably priced!

Used to love Jade Garden, but recently the quality has gone down, unfortunately. The food doesn't seem fresh, was very tough as if cooked hours ago. Also, portions have become more veg and less meat since the lockdown. Also, add in Jade garden is not cheap. Very disappointed.

Just fancied some take out and this place was recommended to me by a local dog walker. I have fallen in love with their Tom Yam soup, the meat roll was massive and delicious. I will defo be back for More.

Just had a takeaway from Jade Garden for the first time. It was the best Chinese food I have ever tasted. And it was a speedy delivery too. We will be using these guys from now on. Thank you, it was very flavourful. I would add a picture but its all gone. 🥰

Not up to the standard or in the same league as Top Chef. Ordered 4 dishes tried each one and couldn't eat any of them. Worst Chinese food I've had. Threw it in the bin.

Food was bland hardly any seasoning. A lot of the meals are just basically bean sprouts, veggie spring roll had chicken. Definitely would not recommend!!

This food is absolutely amazing. Speedy delivery and generous portions. Every time I have it I think the food can't get any better but it does every time. I don't know how hats off to the chef. Today it was so good I have to stop myself from eating my husband's portion (he's running late). He may have to order some more if he's not here within the next hour. I just seriously can't stop eating it. It's delicious. I don't leave reviews often only for something exceptional and I've been ordering from Jade Garden for at least 2 years now so time to .give credit where the credit's due. Thank you for great service and serving our community, before, through COVID and now.

Ordered from here as it's open on Mondays, our usual go to Chinese's are shut Mondays. Really nice, quite surprised. Chow mein was very flavoursome as was the sweet and sour hong Kong chicken and the best salt and pepper king prawns we've ever had, and we've had them from a lot of Chinese's! Only slight let down was the curry, it wasn't awful, we've just had better. But definitely had a lot worse. 👍

Ordered £70 worth of food to be delivered while on holiday in Norfolk. Said the wait would be 1-11/2 hours but would see what she could do and wow was with us within 40 minutes! Hot and very very tasty, shame it’s not my local. If ever up that way again I will be ordering again!

The best Chinese in the area device is spot on treated like royalty when I go in food is always spot on and hot on arrival when I got to pick it up they give me 10% off my order curry and and chicken balls are out of this world great work

We placed an order here on Thursday 21st Late night . The food was exceptional outstanding . We ordered Roast Chicken king prawns with mushrooms. Aswell as a few other dishes. When we visit again we will return to this takeaway highly recomended .

Waiting over an hour 20 mins for food then I phoned them to ask where my order is to have a young girl with no respect to tell me I have to wait 20 more mins and it's not her problems I only take the orders

We nearly always use Jade garden for Chinese takeaway , on the whole food is great and fresh , occasionally it will take ages for food to arrive but always hot , good value for money

Beyond the very small uninspiring premises the service and welcome is warm and friendly. I ordered dinner for one- A1, the meal itself is clean, fresh and the tastiest I have come across “ever”, three months later every weekend they still don’t disappoint, absolute first class 10/10
