Classic pub, great beer on tap. Locals and visitors welcomed. Amazing service, friendly staff. Also it's dog friendly. Great for sports. Late opening aswell, I've had some amazing Saturday nights in there! I'd recommend it to anyone.

Only popped in to watch a football mat h being shown on TV. Lots of screens dotted around yhe bar area which ment no issues finding a seat with a view. I was driving so it was only 1 alcoholic drink then soft drinks for the rest of the time. The lady behind the bar was attentive and friendly. Prices as expected for a bar. I would certainly visit again.

Favourite place in town on a Saturday night, hands down - dj is too good best place for nightlife in Penzance 🙌 spot on atmosphere and cracking ales - only place I’ll go to for football and other sports events

Great pint of Sea fury on first visit, although to be honest, didn't taste as good on second visit. Will be back to try again

Pretty standard experience for a pub these days. Average choice of beer and bar dominated by sports on TV. Not my sort of place.

Great sports bar and a decent pint. Landlord was super friendly and changed the TV to show what we requested (To watch Aston Villa in Europe)

Rugby tour. Met lads behind bar Saturday morning..... very welcoming. Clean and tidy pub. Good beer. Great prices. Not local but treated us with respect. 🇿🇦🇿🇦

A wooden floored haven, 3 ales available, cosy interior. It ok, but nothing special.

My husband and I popped in here for a quick pint while we were walking around. The gentleman behind the bar, I presume the manager, had great music taste and was very welcoming. We played darts and had a few pints. Great atmosphere and beer/cider.

Dogs welcome and they are serving my favourite beer landlord.

No food was being served at the time but the place was a great atmosphere and super dog friendly. Bar staff were super nice and all sports were shown on screens dotted around the pub. Situated nicely just off the high street.

Used to be a Lovley pub , shame about the arragant moody staff and the owner has a real nasty attitute and a bad taste of character, rude franckly , everytime i go here on a night it is always empty very early , again the poor attitude has ruened a really good pub for night life a few years back , worse pub i reckon in cornwall right now .... wouldnt bother with the place again , riduculous!

Nice little pub with a big screen for you to watch football and some evenings they show the big matches and the pub does fill up a bit then, most days you can sit in there and have a drink and people watch through the windows and you also get a good crowd in there and some colourful characters go in there as well, it's a nice pub just off the High Street and it's used by lots of the locals, the staff are friendly and love to chat to you which is good.

Nice pub. Some in Penzance try a bit too hard to cater for the tourists, but this one is just a good, traditional boozer

Found this pub on our travels... great little find... really friendly staff and great place to watch sport. Would definitely recommend.

Much improved from my last visit a few years ago. Called in to watch the Championship play off semi-final. Had the ability to have a two games simultaneously on different screens. Good beer and friendly

Went in with my wife during our week in Cornwall last week, Rose and Amy made us feel very welcome and kindly found us a table to watch the Football, been a long time since I've met such nice people, sorry we didn't get the chance to come and say goodbye before we went back home, it was a pleasure to meet you both, keep doing what you're doing. We loved the globe! Secured a spot for the England v Ukraine match and was nothing less than perfect. Rose was lovely and there were even sausage rolls. 10/10 x

Great little pub in Penzance. I walked into the pub and was greeted by a friendly landlord - although I thought there was more seating upstairs, they were toilets! (My mistake). Sat down and was handed a track and trace form, I then went to order my drinks. Clean environment. Friendly locals in the pub and friendly landlord. Loved the atmosphere. I will be returning.

Local swearing habitually, f-word used continually, then he moved on to female genitalia. Landlady did nothing, so I left. Management needs to consider all customers. Or, guess what? They don't come back
