This café looks the part but the staff let it down so much my friend and I have long decided to not visit them anymore. We both live around the corner so it could be a perfect spot but the staff are so self absorbed / jaded that you feel you're just a bother so no, we don't see the point in returning. As to the food- we had toasted teacakes which were ok but the coffee was super watery/weak and coupled with the unfriendly vibe not worth our visit.

This delightful and spotlessly clean cafe, situated next to the Culm Valley Health Centre in Cullompton has outside seating (where dogs are welcome) and car parking. There is a lovely relaxed atmosphere, excellent quality food and drinks (locally sourced whenever possible), and the staff are warm and welcoming. The menu is largely Mediterranean influenced and the dishes are fresh and tasty. The artisan coffee, roasted in Cornwall, is sublime and surely worthy of an award.

Great find. The coffee is great. Not like a chain but has great taste and decent sized cups. When it comes to food the BLT I had was superb. Good bacon was crispy, served in a ciabatta bun with lovely salad. The taste and the textures were just right.Service was very friendly and really caring.

Stopped with my wife and son on the way home from Truro. My son had his first baby chino which he loved. Highly recommend the avocado toast .... no photo as it looked too tempting. My wife had the halloumi salad which she loved. Would defniatley recommend it as a nice alternative to a stop at a services.

I have had to visit the health centre a lot more lately and the Glasshouse has been a wonderful refuge after treatment. We sit on an outside table with our little dog and really enjoy whats on offer. The coffee is great, just as we like it, the food is very tasty and served up beautifully. Its very clean and the staff are friendly, even a bowl of water for dogs. We love it.

When I first entered the luscious, roomy space that is The Glasshouse Café, I was greeted by a warm smile from the lovely staff that waited patiently for me to choose my beverage. After deliberating for some time I chose the Chai latte. Not a drink I’d had before, as I was inclined to avoid it whilst it was all the rage a few years ago (I try to go against the grain when I can) but I thought ‘Hey let’s give it a whirl, what’s the worst that could happen?’. The drink arrived in good time and when I took the first sip, well, it was like every single one of my tastebuds had been brought back to life by Dr. Frankenstein himself. It tasted completely out of this world. At first I thought I had been missing out on the drink of the century and later that week I decided to sample a chai latte at my local coffee establishment. BIG MISTAKE! It was DREADFUL! Nothing like the sweet nectar I had been served at the Glasshouse Café. ‘Maybe it’s a fluke?’ I thought to myself. So I went to a popular “coffee” chain that shall remain nameless, but quite fittingly rhymes with imposter, because what I received, in comparison, was a pathetic imitation of a chai latte. A couple of weeks go by and I am in the Cullompton area once again, and of course not forgetting my other-worldly experience last time, I decided to stop for lunch and, more importantly, satisfy my craving for a decent chai latte. It’s needless to say the experience was once again magical! In fact, it was even better than my previous visit. The Chai latte; perfect. The Food; delicious. (Or yummo as all the cool kids say nowadays.)So, all in all, at the end of the day, you want great food and drink served with a side of excellent, friendly service; look no further than The Glasshouse Café. You won’t regret it.

This is an absolute treasure and quite a surprise to find a cafe of this standard in a medical centre. The coffee is amazing and the service second to none. The food is yummy and always immaculately presented.

I work at the health centre and feel that we are so lucky to have this great little cafe on site. The girls are so friendly, there is a lovely atmosphere and it is spotlessly clean. The food is delicious and healthy but my absolute favourite is the amazing coffee, it’s the best.

As soon as I walked in I was greeted by a smile. I ordered a coffee, which to my surprise was really tasty. Locally sourced beans I think which is always a plus. I originally intended on just having a drink, but the smells coming from the kitchen enticed me into having a quick bite too. I ordered the mushrooms on toast, and I have to say, were a taste sensation. Overall a pleasant experience, would go again.

This café is lovely, just the sort of place I like, very light, good view, friendly staff and snacks of avocado etc looked really nice. Unfortunately the black coffee is awful, it tasted like cheap instant coffee, there were coffee beans on show. I asked what sort of coffee it was and apparently they use a supplier in Cornwall but it is tasteless. My friend added milk and of course one does not notice then, but as a 'pure' black coffee drinker I would rather have had a cup of Maxwell house The waitress offered me another cup with an extra shot of coffee, better I think I would have needed four or five to give it a bold rich flavour. The cup of tea my other friend had was fine.

This is a real gem in Dorchester. We love the coffee best in the area. The food is always excellent. The staff are very good always very helpful and service with a smile. Lovely place to meet up with friends and enjoy the lovely open space. Not sure why they were closed today Friday 5th August, but did hear that it might be closed for a while due to on going dispute. Be a real shame if it does close as it was a good find with excellent coffee.

Sunday roast wasn't great unfortunately. The beef was exceptionally chewy and when mentioned to the waiter the reply was something along the lines of "yes we know". Also the veg consisted of swede, carrot and cabbage which was quite uninspiring. Would expect more for £18.

We came here after a long Autumn walk with our dog, it was so lovely and warm next to the log fire and we had one of the best Sunday roasts we've ever had. It's not just an average pub roast, everything on the plate was incredible!
