Service was very prompt and efficient staff was very friendly and helpful

This place needs to improve many things including their prices. Last weekend we skipped our favourite spot to support local businesses, we selected this one instead. Oh what a regretful decision! Firstly, the portions are smaller than in other spots around the area for what it is and for the price. We ended up paying around 26-27gbp for breakfast with instant coffee as they do not have a machine (which is not an issue if you get to prepare your own coffee). Ok, its a local place, its ok to not have a coffee machine but its not ok to sell it as expensive as if it was proper coffee, you can’t sell instant coffee as premium. I asked for an iced latte and it was a tinted glass full of soya milk, we paid about about £10 for coffee and isn’t even Starbucks. Unfortunately I don’t think we will be back. At the end of the meal we were hungry and very surprised when they brought the bill because that’s what we usually pay at the breakfast club. Servers where nice, they have home made hot sauce but the is a lot of room for improvement. Please first improve, improve your food, if not lower your prices…

Our first cafe experience in Welling. Dog friendly outdoor seating. The bread they use is nice and thick for toast, generous with butter! Bubble could be improved (but that's just personal taste) Nice sausages. Beans in a separate container so me and my partner could swap! 👍🏻

Food looked like it had been cooked and reheated in a fryer. I couldn’t cut the almost black sausage, overcooked bacon or hash brown. This was partly due to blunt knife. £13 80 is over priced for a small fry up and capriccio

Sunday lunch takeaway very poor, we had lamb and beef, couldn’t taste the difference as meat was very dry, veg looked and tasted like frozen veg, 3 small roast potatoes each! Best thing about it was the gravy, very disappointed as we have eaten here before and food was excellent, shame.

So i went here with my daughter and my mum on friday while eating an elderly gentleman fell over. my mum saw it myself and my daughter rush out to help as there was blood everywhere.I would like to clear a few things up in this situation in your response to my daughter comment. And if you have cctv this would all be proven to be correct . we brought him from the floor to the outside seating area where my daughter got napkins while i did a series of check to see where the blood was coming from This where i had come in and ask for more napkins to stem the bleeding i even said to your face can i have more you said yes and gave me them you did not offer and 1st aid at all nor did you ask if he was ok . I then ask for ice to try and deal with the swelling which you gave me in a bag as your words" we dont have any thing like that here"as a restaurant that not acceptable. You gave me a carrier bag with ice which i had to try and put on the huge lump the getting increasingly bigger My daughter called the ambulance you watched us the whole time. not once offerings any help all help that was given was because i kept coming in and asking you did not once come out and offer any support no one did as for saying you was serving customer you had 2 Women by the door were the child in a high chair. There was one lady behind my mum. An initially 2 people next to the table where we was but left shortly after the incident. So fact you're entire restaurant had including us. About 7 people in there you could quite clearly see what's happening. You then delivered our food. You knew it was our food to which you left on the table and watched. Us deal with the man outside while you knowingly watched our food Go cold at this point we brought him and his wife in again BECAUSE I ASK YOU DIDNT COME AND SAY IT TO COLD BRING HIM IN you then had more customers walk in .you then had the Audacity to ask how the food was before charge before it And i said well obviously cold but as for suggesting, we should have asked for our food to be kept warm. That means you clearly knew that we was outside and therefore, as a restaurant manager, and knowing your customers? You should have taken the food back and kept it warm for us we waited for an hour with them and the only reason they were in the warm IS BECAUSE I ASK. EVERYTHING WAS BECAUSE I ASK YOU NEVER ONCE OFFER ANY SO PLEASE DO NOT MAKE MY DAUGHTER LOOK LIKE SHE WAS DRAMATISED THE SITUATION apart from one free bottle you gave them and that was because we ask for tap water you gave them that .thankfully i work in a hospital and have 1st aid training i would strongly suggest you get 1st aid training a 1st aid kit and learn to accept responsibility and accept you on this occasion did nothing but allow them to wait in the warm once we had stopped the bleeding pump

Went here with mum and nan after they loved bexleyheath one. We ordered our food our drinks from the fridge was warm while waiting a member of public ourside had a accident blood everywhere me and mum rushed to help while they all watched. Was cleaning up the 78 yr old covered in blood outside while waitinh for ambi while they plaxed our food on the table still watching us outside in the end me and mum had to switch to eat as it was cold. Once we finished he asked how our food was…. Cold it was cold you watched me help a bleeding person with a head injury and you still served my food its not hard to read a situation not like i was out chating on the phone! Had no first aid kit they gave napkins and a carrier bag with ice in… thats the best we got terrible Wont be returning. Reply- we asked if we could bring him in no one came to help. The ‘ice pack’ was ice in a carrier bag as you dont have a first aid kit on site. I never said you didnt care but you coukd see we was sortin him out even customers in sajd about bringing him in yes you let him stay til ths ambo arrived but an offer to help would of gone a long away. Doesnt matter now we got him the help he needed thats all yhat matters but just disappointing with how it happened

Whenever I'm in the area, this is always where I go. Even before the revamp. But since the revamp, the food has been sensational. Staff are always warm and welcoming. The food is presented well and the fruit smoothies are great! Definitely recommend this place! They do a good variety of food too!

Went here yesterday for brunch with my partner, I ordered food and he ordered a latte which he said was delicious for its low price. The decor has changed and the layout has altered but overall to me it was the same giggling sausage as before. The servers were polite and provided fantastic service :)

Been revamped recently to have a more modern look but atmospheres and service is the same as before, food is better quality. Would recommend coming here for breakfast as it’s delicious and their best food :)

I've eaten here a few times and normally I've enjoyed it but this time I was disappointed. I ordered a grilled halloumi wrap, which I've had in a few other cafes and restaurants before. So I literally got 3 pieces grilled halloumi in a wrap. The salad was served on the side, all be it one slice of cucumber, one slice of tomato and some lettuce. Maybe its just me but I thought I would be served a wrap full of salad and halloumi as I've always had before. I don't think I'll rush back and I definitely won't order the same thing again.

Ordered the garlic sausage toasted sandwich and it was like 2 PC of slivers of sausage in it.

Giggling sausage is always very good whatever one you seem to go to in the area the food is always great and always a very good service.

The service is friendly, but the food and, especially the coffee, less so. I ordered a mild (1 shot) latte which was too strong and had more than a whiff of instant about it. My poached egg on toast was ok. Not keen on the garish decor.

Thoroughly enjoyed the very delicious large meal and very warm kind reception and service from the staff at the Giggling Sausage, Welling High Street, Welling, Kent. A good clean airy modern bistro with additional outdoor seating facilities, hygienic clean toilets, and a well organised seating layout within the main dining area. Modern decor with a trendy American theme as shown with some of the pictures displayed on the wall. Access also good for disabled. I recommend the mixed grill and lemon flavoured pancakes, washed down with a fine strawberry milkshake. My wife and I will definately return in the future to try out another good dish from the varied choice on the menu. The food excellent and very good value, the staff so kind and embracing 👍and always happy to please. Plus very convenient and easy to reach by public transport at adjacent bus stops ( No 96, 89, 486, 51 to mention a few!) Also a good choice of local shops and stores all close proximity to the restaurant. Well done to the owners 👏 and staff here. Many thanks! We look forward to a return visit. Smelly plates and glasses, smelt like hadn’t been cleaned properly, made me heave, had to ask waitress to take it away with half of the food left on it. I probably wouldn’t return here. Lots of other cafes around the area better than this one.

I think the food was overcooked a little bit e.g the bacon and scrambled egg but this could just be a one off .the staff were very friendly though

Kids always love coming here for a fry up! Or just a huge plate of beans on toast! Can highly recommend the chicken kebab, it's also very filling. Chips are chunky and usually hotter than the sun inside so beware and cut them up first before attempting to eat them. Don't change them though, they are good!

I wrote a negative review three years ago when the cafe changed owners, since then new owners have come in and the food is excellent. Also the staff are great and the waitresses are friendly and highly efficient, best in Welling in my opinion 👍🏻

There are many cafes but Sizzling sausage is amazing - not so much for lunch time meals - they should stick to what they know best!! They do an amazing breakfast and its well worth the cost

After I placed my order of a toasted panini and coffee, i had to wait ten minutes just to pay for my order. The young blond girl who served me was rude and began making my sandwich and then left it half finished, without putting it under the grill to then make three other takeaway orders and test the temperature of a food in the microwave. She did not wear gloves and touched several other foods and appliances before she continued making my sandwich. It was then under-toasted and while she was cutting it, half of the sandwich fell off the chopping board. Another older lady served me and instead of asking me to repeat my order or apologise for the wait, she then asked the younger girl what I had ordered, before charging me. I paid nearly five pounds for a sandwich I felt too sick to eat. I was worried about the amount of bacteria it must have contained from her hands which touched so many other foods, surfaces and appliances before continuing to toast my sandwich. I should have cancelled the order, but I was so shocked by the rudeness and the process of food preparation, I waited more for an apology than my order. I believe this cafe seriously needs a sanitation and health inspection, as well as a better and more friendly attitude to customers.

Excellent choice of traditional English breakfasts. Fast friendly service and does exactly what it says on the tin! Great value for money and saves all that washing up!

We used to be regular visitors here. We came in today after lunch rush. Terrible service and food nowhere near as good as it used to be. My tuna baguette was just a big soft roll with no salad garnish. My husband ordered spaghetti bolognaise that never appeared! He said he would have a dessert instead. We waited over 10 minutes for a very mediocre knickerbocker glory. It was still frozen at the bottom. We won’t be coming back. We think these must be new owners as before we could not fault the place

Walked in, was ignored and waited with out being acknowledged whilst the cafe was empty, walked out in the end and went to the Koffi Pot. The previous owners who have moved to Bexleyheath were fantastic but current owners need some lessons on customer service, terrible. Been using Giggling Sausage for years, never coming back , shocking service 👎

The food is no good and also the service is no good. I got upset tummy ache when i eating from this restaurant also it very crowded and no very helpful staff. Also portions of the food are very large also the food goes down a drain in front of customers when they have finished. avoid going here at all cost

Superb portion sizes for larger appetites, or take home the rest and eat it when you're hungry again! (which wont be for a while!) The omelettes are delicious, salads have a lot of variety and all the food is fresh and tasty.

We sometimes pop in for brunch here. It is always busy but staff remain very friendly. They have regulars who they know by name which is reassuring. The foods is good and reasonably priced.

Just had a great lunch here today, set thai tapas menu was beutifully presented and tasted lovely, we went here today because our favorite thai restaurant Sucheera was closed, food definitely on par, only criticism was waiting staff need to ti smile more especially entering the restaurant, but we will be back.

Be assured the food is great, the portions large, the prices reasonable and the waitresses friendly. However, for me it is the attention to detail that I love and its what keeps bringing me back to 'The Giggling Sausage'. The tables are always spotless and the condiments full and the sauce dispensers are kept clean. Service is prompt and when you do get served real care has been taken to deliver a plate of food that is pleasing to the eye not just tasty to the stomach. Its a family run cafe and it shows. Highly recommended.

I have driven past this place numerous times when stuck in traffic. The name always made me smile and I promised myself each time that I would visit; well today was the day. My work colleague and I (oh by the way we are specialist Nutrition nurses but not ordinary nutrition mm we'll leave it there) swerved the well known coffee outlet at the well known supermarket nearby and plumped for the opportunity for our first experience of the Giggling Sausage. We were not disappointed. For the likes of us a quick visit to a supermarket is par for the course but twice this week I have been in establishments like Giggling Sausage and WOW they are amazing. Today we had exactly what we wanted to eat. Even the bread was not just your regular sliced bread. It was fresh. The food freshly prepared, hot and fabulous. Just genuine easy everyday cuisine. The place was packed with lovely people full of local character. The whole place and the staff and the service was totally uplifting. As nurses we see all sorts of life and this morning had been particularly not easy but our visit to Giggling Sausage was comfort food at its absolute best and just eating there and watching the staff and the lovely clientele was a total boost to our outlook on life in general away from our work life . We will come back and we would recommend Giggling Sausage unreservedly. We should be promoting and encouraging local establishments they are amazing. Good service, good surroundings and good value. Oh a favourite with me .....the loos...immaculate.

First visit to the cafe, and I will be back! BUT NEED TO BE HUNGRY!! I had a baguette, no I didn't it was half a French stick ! Filled with bacon, sausage and mushrooms All cooked perfectly and a top cup if tea. All I can say is ridiculous value for money! And another bonus..... nice people.I was in the area on business, I live over 80 miles away but I would drive there for another, this time prepared so I could finish it !!!!

Sometimes if I'm running late for work on a Saturday I grab a sausage sandwich from here and can honestly say it's the best tasting one in welling!! They aren't stingy on the sausages or the sauce!

What better way to start Saturday morning shopping at Tesco next door than with a yummy fried breakfast. Huge range of breakfast ingredients including Turkish ingredients like holoumi cheese. Great for small or huge breakfast and I mean huge. Nice deco always busy.

You know when you've picked the right place to eat when the tables are crammed in so tight you struggle to get between them for all the customers already tucking in when you get there. The food ranges from standard cafe fare to Turkish breakfast and Hot Salt Beef bagels. Staff are mega, prices are right and the food is devine. For a cracking breakfast or a quick lunch or brunch, you really can't go wrong. Just don't expect to get the place to youself when you visit.

We visited around lunchtime for a spot of lunch. Wasn't surprised at how busy it was at 12 as this place gets full very quickly! Clearly this reflects the good value for money and the quality food/portion sizes. We will be back.

I always think it very strange when someone such as Reggie1 posts two reviews on the same day with completely opposite marks. His only other review on TA is for a cafe on the other side of the road and he's given them 5 stars!We occasionally use The Giggling Sausage for a quick coffee and snack and have never had anything but good service at a reasonable price, hence my rating today.Disregard Reggie1 review, go along and make up,your own mind.

This is a small family run restaurant which does great food. We all had a breakfast which was cooked well, hot and it did not take long for them to dish it up. It is reasonably priced. It also has seating outside if it is good weather.

You will return to this little restaurant/café. First its spotless, the staff are friendly and efficient. It runs like clockwork. The food is well cooked and lots of choice. My first visit was with my grandson and have since visited with other members of the family. My last visit was last Saturday, on my own. I am on a healthy eating plan at the moment and opted for the delicious grilled chicken and salad. This comes with chips or boiled potatoes and garlic bread. The shakes and coffee are very good. Be prepared for very large portions, on a large plate so not on top of one another. I was offered a box to take what I had left. Very well priced excellent value.

There's a wide range of delicious foods to choose from. They even serve a full English at four in the afternoon! It's not just full english's they serve no no no! They serve roast dinners, garlic bread, ham egg and chips, fish and chips, burgers and there's even vegetarian options. All that I've mentioned are extremely tasty!The staff are friendly and the portions are at a decent size! I personally think they should be several giggling sausage cafes in other parts of the U.K.

We came here as we spotted in on the high street and it looked lovely from outside. Inside was clean and impressive. It was vibrant and almost full (being a Sunday at 12pm and fathers day it was expected)We were seated and our drinks taken right away. Soon after we had our order taken.We waited and saw many meals being brought out that looked really nice and the lay out on all plates looked amazing.I caught a glimpse of the milkshakes and they do make you wish you ordered oneOur drinks came immediately but unfortunately 50 minutes from entering, our food finally arrived. No one came to update us on the delay and two tables came in during our wait, got their food paid and left in that time. It was ridiculousWe couldn't understand why it took this long for a simple fry up and a grilled chicken breast with boiled potatoesWhen it finally came we saw right away the chicken was burnt. The man even knew it because before my partner even picked up he's cutlery he asked if it was ok. It did look pretty charcoaled but he said it was okThe food how ever, was a major let down. My bubble was burnt, had a layer of burnt top and bottom. The mushrooms had no taste as they had been over done and had small black pieces from the grill in them (I think they need to scrub the grill down a bit more between dishes)My partners chicken was expected, over done, dry and tough as leather. He's salad and garlic bread was lovely. The potatoes covered in mint and nothing special.He refused to send it back as we had a film we were already late for and we were by how so hungry we just wanted to eat what we could and had no time for anything to be re cooked or time to go to KFC The time we had waited our cans of coke were now warm as well.We paid and leftIt was such a shame as the other things can't be faulted. The best place to get a meal. Lovely omelettes and fantastic chips. The milkshakes are wonderful.
