Selected to visit this pub to watch live football whilst in St Neots recently. There are at least two screens, a pool table, fruit machine and the venue hosts live music typically (although it’s unclear during COVID times). To that end, it’s a regular local pub with a predictable array of beers on tap and classic features. The drinks are well priced, though.

The wife and I had our first Sunday dinner here and was so surprised. The food was great, the pub looks so good now and the staff are very friendly.

Had food several times over the last year and always had great food and service. You can be certain of a warm welcome. Had the Christmas menu on Friday with family-superb!. I recommend the Sunday lunch as well.

We popped in off spec for a Sunday dinner. The landlord was very friendly and the service throughout was wonderful. For the food it was a choice between a plate of beef or lamb dinners. My wife and I both left our plates empty. The food was well cooked and seasoned. If you want fine dining you wouldn't come here but if you want a well cooked tasty Sunday dinner then you could do a lot worse. Also note that two dinners for just short of £11 is real value for money.

We always keep our eyes open looking for a place to eat, and often Google 'places to eat near me'. Inevitably, we nearly always end up at The Marsh Harrier, St Ives. A tried and trusted venue. Would definitely recommend to would-be diners.

We are locals and go to The Old Bridge when we want something a bit special - today was my birthday so we popped in for lunch in the bar. We both ordered warm sandwiches, but were very disappointed in both. Last time these were served on large baguettes and were full of fillings, today we got small brioche rolls and the turkey was cut so thin I almost missed it, an equally thin slice of dried out stuffing and a bit of cranberry sauce, a tiny tiny portion dried out skinny fries, no basket, and the “salad” was warm and wilted, all edible but I’ve had tastier food in the Olmo Lounge. Two drinks each and the bill was just shy of £60 as they had added a 12.5% service charge, which we were not made aware of. The staff were polite but didn’t do anything special, it’s bar food, I don’t expect a mandatory service charge .We will think twice before returning, I think the cutbacks have started to creep in under the new owners sadly
