Jukebox played rubbish music all night

Went to a family event. Good enough venue. Was surprised when they needed to send someone to the shops in order to get toilet paper for the ladies.

Tried calling every hour to try and book a baby shower, no answer!!! Sent emails…. No answer!!!

Had a couple drinks here. Bar maids were friendly, but took ages to be served. As only one barmaid was serving. And was busyish.

Great pub with beer garden that have live bands in summer

A good place to watch the game with cheap beers, food was nice 😋

Had a good Turkey day darts tournament 😋 👌

Strange pub with a very weird atmosphere. Staff were friendly on serving. Pub had little to no room to stand or sit and have a drink as the majority of pub booked out for a private party. Ended up having one drink and leaving promptly.

Didn't have food, so I can't comment, but all the was great.

We had our baby shower done here. We were dealing with the bar manager - a lovely lady, that managed to book us in. What was quite upsetting was that we didn't get much privacy in the venue, with people peeking in and even walking through in the middle of the party. Tables were sticky, chairs were dirty and the smell in the air wasn't pleasant.

Popped into this pub for a quick drink on the way home. Clean and tidy. Staff are friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was ok, however there were not many people in the pub so it's difficult to assess this.

Went to a friend's birthday bash so prices didn't come into it. Quite a large pub that catered well for the party. The pub has live music some nights and the atmosphere, like the staff was very friendly. The only criticisms I have are the lack of a working air conditioning unit in the function room (on a very hot night) and just the one member of staff serving a lot of the time which lead to sometimes long waits for a cool pint in an extremely hot room.

Nice place to go for drinks with friends.

Went to see a band ... Nashville Exile! Great band ... pub ok from what I experienced!

Good pub for after work drinks can gwt bit lively on friday and weekend but good pub at good prices

Lovely bar staff, very friendly

This venue held a wedding party for friends. The buffet was excellent, and the ladies serving behind the bar kept everyone topped up. The area we're the wedding party was held was perfectly decorated well and in all well done to all the staff.

Good function room for clubs. Friendly staff.

Visited to book hall for a birthday party next year.Friendly response, seems more like a drinkers pub, no food served.

Nice pub with good outside seating area at front and side garden. There is parking for about 20 cars. Had two decent ciders on tap. Internally not a big pub. There is a raised area, maybe for dancing. Service polite. I was told they do not serve food as opposed to the signage outside. From past experiance, in summertime you can sit outside and watch the sun set behind the houses. In the past I have seen they do events and have child play area in summer. I would not hesitate to pop back again.

Large pub with ample parking and a beer garden with occasional outside events. Live music most Saturdays. Has a Jamaican/ Carribean food vendor in the car park called Mumma Sorayas which is separate from the pub but has an excellent reputation

Great pub and friendly staff. Great place for that cheeky lunchtime drink or take the family everyone is welcome. The food trailer outside is awesome and great value for money.

Welcoming atmosphere, but very noisy

Not a bad venue, with good outdoor areas. Was entertainment happening when we came, but of course we were there for Mumma Soraya's jerk chicken!

Absolutely fantastic, hosted our wedding reception. Helped arrange a DJ and sorted all of the food. Having been our wedding day we were running a little behind on decorating they even messaged to make sure everything was running okay. Perfect place for a perfect night couldn't be happier.

We hired one of the George bars for a 21st Birthday Party. The bar staff were attentive very very friendly and cannot be faulted. The price of the drinks were pretty good too. Will book again. It also has live music on Saturday evenings.

Only popped in for a quick drink. But as we went in, it smelt of toilet cleaner. To point it was making feel ill. But barmaid was friendly and happy.

When moma is there, fantastic food, and beers from the pub absolutely outstanding, if you love soul food at the weekend, TRY it out, warning, gets busy.

Went thrrr for the first time Saturday with the other half and toe dog and had drink out front friendly staff a good pint of bitter and met a really mice couple and their dog will make it my local as we have just here.

Lovely local pub, darts, juke box, fruit machines and friendly staff. Garden is nice for sunny days and they even have a hall for events.

Quick visit to check out the location, when everything is reopened will be heading back for the beer festival and the reggae rum festival

Nice clean place with fair prices away from the aggravation of the dying highstreet.

Popped in for one, decent cask ale @ standard price, quiet time of day though by look of it mid afternoon.

Welcoming staff went here after a funeral. Only one thing put me off a bit the room smelt strongly of toilet cleaner , a little overpowering.

Used the function room for a 5 year olds birthday party. The staff were super friendly. Supplied us with jugs for squash we bought along for the kids. Nice size function room. Little bar in the corner so the adults could get a drink or two without having to go to the main bar. The locals drinking there were all very friendly. Reccomend. 😊

Awful smell when walked in pub. Bacardi and diet coke was disgusting. Don't know if Bicardi had been watered down! Diet coke was flat.

Now they have started to do food, maybe not full meals but hot snacks

Nice pub, private room for hire.

Held my daughters Christening party here at the weekend and the whole team were amazing. The food served was delicious and the bar staff worked really hard throughout the night. A special thanks to the manager, nothing was too much trouble. Lovely pub!

Good choice of beers, has a pool table and lively staff. Buffet food was a little lacking but a good location.
