BB's Coffee & Muffins in Medway

I used to hang out here while waiting for my wife to finish shopping. One day, I was sitting and waiting for her to come and order. The owner came over with an attitude and asked if I was going to order anything. I told him I’d order soon since I was waiting for someone. He bluntly told me, "If you're not ordering, you need to leave. This place is for paying customers only." To be fair, the place was almost empty—it’s not like people were waiting for a seat.

I absolutely cannot believe this place. I have 2 young children with me and they have just charged me £13.95 for a dry cheese sandwich and a vile pannini which hardly any filling and then 5 mins later I watched them throw all their food in the bin!!!!! Why would you charge someone that much money or even at all if you knew you were about the throw it all away and what about all the homeless people? Are they not in more need than the bin!!!!

I went in today to order an iced strawberry matcha latte with oat milk. Oat milk is advertised on their back board. I told three separate people to use oat milk. The man at the till then asked did you order a strawberry matcha latte and I replied yes with oat milk. The man then began to question me by saying that my milk was a choice and not an allergy to which both me and my mother clearly stated it was in fact an allergy. We were told to wait at the end and while we did we had a clear view of the woman making my drink and she used regular milk. Another lady (the only reason I’ve given this place a star) came over and we explained what happened and she went over and sorted the issue. While my drink was being remade the man the came over again and was quite patronising and rude. I will not be returning to this establishment you would like to think that people would be more allergy aware considering that not to long ago a woman died due to a careless mistake like this. I would encourage anyone with a milk allergy or vegan to go to another coffee shop in Chatham.

Friendly staff, reasonably priced food, love coffee, panini and muffin.

Terrible customer service, rude small man wearing hat with major ego problem, lacked any sense of professionalism, would NOT recommend, Donut was dry, coffee was bland. Food sits there overnight. Advised in the reply to contact their help team, do they reply? (No) Avoid please. Id give 0 stars if possible

The staff is very hospitable and the owner of the cafe is really respectful and it is a really good environment to bring your family along and enjoy a day out here. The prices are reasonable.

Today I bought a fresh lemonade and I paid £3.95 but unfortunately I am very disappointed because they put only water,ice, and lemon juice or syrup Is not what I expected fresh lemonade with lemon and mint 🫤

There was a variety of food and drink. All great prices. I would definitely come back again the next time I am in Chatham. I wish there was a BB's Coffee & Muffins in Thanet as I used to order my birthday cakes and muffins online a few years ago from Bakers + Barista. Chatham is a bit out of my way to get a great cupcake and toastie sandwich.

Staff are great,really friendly and helpful. Food was on our table by the time we had finished paying. Good selection of food and tasty too

Unfortunately ordered a latte and it was ridiculously hot which alot of places do get wrong. Food look amazing didn't try but had the friendliest workers on shift that were so polite.

I don't usually write reviews but.. It is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day of shopping. The coffee is delicious, the muffins are fresh, and the atmosphere is inviting.

Nice variety of sandwiches, pastries, muffins, smoothies etc We have tried chai latte, cheese and onion pastry, jaffa cake muffin and mango, pineapple smoothie, all very yummy. Place is neat and clean, staff members are very professional, friendly and courteous. Nice place in pentagon shopping centre to sit, relax and munch food. I would highly recommend visiting this cafe/restaurant.

Stopped for brunch today. Quick service. Nice food that filled a hole.. plenty of seating available at the time. Nice and clean dining area.

Came for tea break. The tea was hot & cherry coconut muffin both very delicious from start to finish. The staff very friendly & helpful. Thank you.

Very friendly every time I get a coffee they always make you feel welcome and always interesting in everything you say.. the drink are lovely and food are outstanding.. and dont forget the muffins they are to die for! Staff always smiling .. the best bbs in medway!

Popped in as wanted a quick refershment, the staff were very friendly, was able to sit in quiet area and enjoy my latte & coconut cake which were both delicious, would recommend.

The coffee is nice and the prices are good but there's no vegan options and I don't think there has been before, so I'm unable to eat there. The staff are friendly and a lot of the time outgoing.

Muffins are too 😋👌🏾. Whenever i fancy treating myself to a sweet muffin with my coffee i go here .

Not many places coffee bars in Chatham do gluten free snacks but BBs do the very best gluten free cheese & ham toastie ever. Very good service.

Had a white chocolate and coconut hot chocolate, it's was delicious not overly sweet and it was served at perfect drinking temperature. The seating area was very clean and tidy and the service was good.

Disappointed with the changes at BBs. Sevice is still great, but where the coffee use to be good the ameriano is now so thin it's almost just hot water. It was just our cups either the couple's on tables next ours was practically see-through😳

Very helpful, we have problems carrying a tray, a member of staff will always bring our order to our table.We only had coffee today But would recommend the cinnamon swirls.

It is a good coffee shop but not as food chain, they provide good tea and coffee. Will recommend people try it if you are in Pentagon shopping centre.

The staff was lovely but unfortunately the food was not as good. I ordered a prawn baguette, freshly made... But the prawns tasted sour. They exchanged it no problem but the egg mayo baguette was stale. However the tea was great

Lovely open area too sit in, good menu choices and lovely staff. Never had a complaint from me. They have good sandwich options, drink options and their drinks are fantastic. Also do good sweet treats with they do seasonal options.

It's a cafe. I walk over to it. I see what I want. I tell them what I want. I pay for it. I get what I asked for. I go to sit down. I eat and drink. I finish and stay sitting down to watch the mostly ghastly common populace walking around the centre. I walk away like an ice cold killer. Happy days.

Another one of our favourite places. Great range of sandwiches, cakes and hot and cold drinks. Friendly staff.
