Good Guinness, friendly pub, lovely staff, reasonable prices

The staff are excellent and extremely hard working which is the pubs saving grace! 5 stars for the bar/karaoke staff and bar staff manager.

The best pub on Wigan Wallgate. The bar staff are amazing and very friendly. Saturday evenings are our favourite. In most Saturdays all year round, but always drop in other days and times when in Wigan.

We was having a good night until myself and friends went outside for a cig and when we came back are drinks where gone plus are seats and a horrible man told to fuk off when we went back because he was sat in are seats with other people so I won't be going back there again

Great for a local pint one of the cheapest in Wigan I believe, slightly rough at times but no fights just real local people who are generally friendly. Proper drinking gaff, and karaoke on certain nights.

Cheap so obviously you attract cheap. The karaoke is dreadful, nobody can sing and terrible system. The women's toilets aren't very safe being down those stairs, they used to be unisex don't know if they still are but a risk. Apart from that i guess you can have a laugh there being amongst the whittaker family.

Nipped in for a couple of drinks, lovely pub with friendly staff and locals.

Probably the most dismal pub I have ever been in . No atmosphere and not a lot of choice when it comes to decent beer

Pleasantly surprised after walking past this place for years and thinking it looked like a dive. Was dragged in by friends to find it staffed by friendly super efficient and smiling bar staff despite it being rammed. Atmosphere was great and drink prices far better than most other Wigan bars.

Cheapest pub in town! Bar staff and management are great!! Karaoke Saturdays and Sundays. Always a warm welcome! Bar snacks available and always a friendly atmosphere. Go in a stranger, leave as family.

Looked after the Wigan branch legion and donated to the branch and looked after all the veterans on remberence day daya a big shout to the staff
