Excellent visit to The George today for midweek lunch. Really good value and had taken our requests from the booking seriously. Main courses and desserts looked appealing on arrival and the whole party ate everything.

Just had the Ruben’s burger big juicy full of flavour and well worth the price It beats all other burgers cooked to how you like it and it’s so filling Staff very friendly and can’t do enough I had a lovely large glass of red So if your looking for something that ticks the boxes why not try the George on Kempsford 5 stars

Superb food, great atmosphere and the staff were lovely. Can't wait to return. Recommend the cauliflower and cheese soup and bread was the best ever. Also the risotto was beautiful.

We went for Sunday Lunch last weekend at The George. To my delight, Roger had Haunch of Venison on his menu. Skilfully cooked, venison in the right hands can be delicious. Over cooked, and, well to my mind, forget it, it's just not worth eating....
