The Gate Grill House in City of London, Westminster

The service was excellent with the friendly couple who were managing the restaurant. The coffee was so good, and the breakfast delicious with the best toast I have ever had. This restaurant is a little gem and I am so glad we happened across it. Great food great service, would totally recommend it.

Este es un restaurante tradicional inglés en el corazón de la ciudad frente a la barbacana junto a la estación de metro Barbican. Ofrece comida y bebida a un precio muy razonable. El servicio es amable. Se prefiere el pago en efectivo para cantidades pequeñas.

One of my favourite caffs in London for a full Englsih breakfast. They even do fried bread and black pudding which are my favourites. Friendly staff and local regulars. Conveniently situated for the Barbican.

Dropped in for a hurried breakfast before a day's work and enjoyed a fantastic cheese omelette, buttered toast and strong black coffee. Very reasonably priced and good quality. I'd guess some of the patrons would be regulars, judging by the easy banter with staff. The atmosphere was relaxed and despite selfishly bagging a four-seat table, I didn't feel rushed. I highly recommend this cafe.

El desayuno era brillante, encontrar una cafetería adecuada en el centro de Londres que tenga un precio razonable es raro, una joya escondida que debe visitarse. El personal especialmente la señora fue muy servicial con mis niños exigentes. Si no quieres gastar una fortuna, ve aquí. La próxima vez tuvimos la hamburguesa y patatas fritas que se veía preciosa.

Acabo de recoger Inglés completo. Delicioso desayuno a muy buen precio. El personal es muy amable también! ¡Muy recomendable!

Every time I go to London to visit my daughter... amazing breakfast right here!!!! Full english, fantastic toasted and buttered bread, orange juice,.. The lady is always kind and smiling, it feels just like home and the prize absolutely honest. I'll see you on November!!!!

Been here a few times. Breakfast is amazing. They use good quality ingredients and the staff are really helpful. Nice friendly place. This is THE place if you need a proper English breakfast!

Wow! What a place. Lovely breakfast to get kick-started for the day and I didn't have to eat until my evening meal! The staff are so lovely and attentive and the portion size? Oh my word!!! Lovely fresh, fluffy bread on the side too, to mop up all of the breakfast juices. An absolute gem and I will be returning again soon.

I had breakfast in here with my sister the other day and had a lovely time. I only had eggs on toast with bacon but it was absolutely amazing. The bread was lovely and fresh and the staff were so lovely. The guys are Turkish and I was telling them about my up and coming holiday to Antalya. Will be definitely returning and so glad I found this place. I would say it is one of the best breakfasts I have had in London.

Love 'The Gate' - been coming here since 1999 - almost 2 decades! I now live in NZ so I'm far from a frequent visitor, but when I get back to Blighty I always make sure I hit up The Gate Grill for a full English. A little bit of nostalgia and a damn fine feed. If you're looking for a proper greasy spoon style brekkie rather than one of those modern ones with 'micro greens' then the Gate will hit the spot. Highly recommended.

With cafes in London, you never know whether to take a punt or not. I did with this one and I am glad I did. It was busy, the staff were rushed off their feet but still managed to make a fuss of me and were very attentive. I only had omelette, chips and beans but it was SO lovely. I asked for some bread and butter on the side and the bread was extremely fresh. I would highly recommend for comfort food...and hangover food too! Totally recommended.

The service is nice & friendly but the food is not great. The pie had been warmed up in the microwave, frozen chips, and so on. There are much better cafes in the area.

Adore this place. It has been there for years and still has the same friendly faces. Have visited for breakfast a few times and have found it to be quick, delicious and very reasonable for London. Totally recommend for a great full English!

Muy amable, limpio y a un precio razonable. ¿Qué más se puede pedir de un buen Café de Londres? Me llenó a un precio estupendo. Una alternativa bienvenida a la tienda de la cadena de tiendas de café de retrato.

Este lugar tiene una buena combinación de variedades para vegetarianos y no vegetarianos. Usted puede recoger hamburguesa o algunas de las buenas opciones en el sistema WINGS. sabor es bueno!

El personal es agradable y servicial servicio es lo que distingue a este pequeño lugar aparte. La comida está bien, pero no es más de lo que se esperaría que vas a través de la puerta. Limpio, acogedor y en un buen lugar.

Llegar con hambre de un largo viaje en tren con mi familia en and Tower tuvimos un fantástico inglés cocinado completo en esta limpio y agradable pequeño café de carretera.
