Went here with my daughters and they were very welcoming, and I had a pint of the Smith & Whistle lager which is superb. It’s a tad pricey but no more than you’d expect in that part of London, and the setting and decor makes it worth it.

This little bar, in the Sheridan Grand Hotel, was a welcome spot for a quiet drink and light meal. The food was great. We especially liked the fish & chips, lamb skewers and the grilled shrimp. Our server Aldina was so friendly and helpful. This place saved us while we adjusted to our first few nights in London. Highly recommend.

Nice aesthetic bar, reasonable prices and polite staff

We returned here for a date night the night before our wedding (we came here for our first date 3 years ago so it holds a very special place in our hearts!). Amazing service as always, yummy cocktails, nice atmosphere (and subtle sports on for the F1/football fans!). Aditya, Molly and Silvan went above and beyond and really made us feel very special, giving us a celebratory drink and the same table we were at for our first date 3 years ago. The lobster roll is divine, and the amaretto sours are one of the best I’ve ever had. We love it here and couldn’t recommend more.

it was the last night of our london girls trip and we wanted to dress cute and have a nice dinner! we found this spot on maps and decided to check it out. our waiter was Aditya and he was the best! from the start he was super kind, answered all our questions and funny requests, and made our last dinner great. the food and drinks were absolutely delicious as well, i had the miss marple drink and it was so gooood ! also had the burger but we didn't get a pic we ate it so fast. definitely recommend checking out. also a very cute picture spot

We loved popping in for a drink and something to eat. The staff are friendly and the service excellent. Food is good and it is a lovely place just to relax and spend time with friends.

Due to our wet British summer, last minute decision to come to the Smith & Whistle for a party of 12 because of a cancelled picnic in Green Park. We can only shower praise on the lovely staff, particularly Albena who looked after us so well. Food was excellent value and for Sheraton standard we had a few bottles of reasonably priced wine. By the way, toilets are beautiful. Thank you Smith & Whistle, would highly recommend !

If you are fed up with the bars around shepherds market and you want something a little better without costing the earth then this is a wonderful alternative, cosy inside bar or if you wish to people watch there are high chairs and tables outside, however, what makes this so special is the stand out service we received from the highly professional and friendly team, many thanks to Molly and especially Gergo who did everything they could to ensure we had the best evening possible.

We came here 3 times during a 3 day stay in Mayfair April 24. Genuinely Dog Friendly and not "Dogs tolerated" The staff are awesome the food and drinks are great, the bar is really an extension of a 5⭐️hotel experience and quality while being welcoming and down to earth. We were staying in another great 5⭐️ dog friendly hotel around the corner but after our experience in Smith & Whistle definitely have the Sheraton Grand London Park Lane on our "to Stay" list. A must if you are in the parks around Mayfair with your 4 legged friends or during a shopping trip to take a break with a great bar menu including dog menu 5⭐️ service and quality and some good IPA's.

We had a wonderful time at Smith & Whistle. Food was very good. Our server, Gracie, went out of her way to make sure we had a nice dinner followed by my husband enjoying a cigar at an outside table. The outdoor space was lovely with heaters and a fun view of the traffic on Piccadilly Street Gracie even brought me a complimentary birthday dessert ! Great evening

We found this place when looking for somewhere to have lunch during a family day out. The service was friendly and efficient and the food was good.

Had reserved a table as there were 7 if us but when we arrived the bar man didn't seem to know.... the service wasn't great, the place looked a bit tired, several of our chairs were worn and had patches of the fabric missing. Drinks were okay but not amazing. It was pre dinner drinks for my sisters 40th and it was all a little underwhelming to be honest. Won't be back.

I came last summer and was blown away by the service and quality of the cocktails! I just came back for the first time in a while and I was not disappointed at all! Marco and his colleagues are phenomenal! I’m glad I had food this time too as the prawns were amazing!!

Amazing location, staff and super dog friendly! We visited Smith and Whistle this evening for a relaxed couples meal with our dog, our server Gergo went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. He was super attentive and the barman (didn’t catch his name) was also amazing and really made our dog feel welcome!

Dog and people friendly in the heart of London, we go here often for dinner and drinks after a long walk through Hyde Park with our four springers. Calming atmosphere, with music to match. In addition to the bar menu standards, you can also order from the Italian restaurant, or the international fare at the Palm Court. Gina is often there to greet us and make us feel at home, as do the other FOH and bar staff.

Me and dog seemed very relaxed which was wonderful, however I got a bit lost looking for the toilets and went somewhere completely different, but in a good way, however they have a ballroom, which definitely gives off a modern, fairytale vibe. Nice but not lovely ! We went because of a newspaper article but didn't really match up to what we expected. Staff were very friendly and attentive, drinks were ok but although our food (bar bites) were tasty, they were very very small portions (about 2 mouthfulls) compared to many other similar bar areas, where the bar bites were at least twice the size.

We love it here! We come back every Christmas- our waiter was Aditfa and he was very welcoming! Our dog Luna loved him. We are always impressed by the service and the hospitality here. Thank you Aditfa!
