Fantastic breakfast and super coffee. After a long journey down from Bedfordshire we stumbled on the shed as my mum lives nearby. The service was very friendly and patient with my ultra confusing and hard to please mum !! All breakfasts were devoured and all coffees supped away in minutes!! A lot of regulars as expected and because of the size some people had to share tables.. but this never seemed a problem.. maybe even a benefit for some lonely folk !! Thank you and hope to see you soon..

An amazing gem nestled within the centre of Fareham with a bustling environment of happy customers everytime we’ve been. Competitive prices and great quality food. Safe to say with a trip to the Garden Shed Cafe, you’ll never leave feeling hungry! 10/10 service as always.

Walked passed and didn’t notice this little gem. Coming back it was more visible. Pleased we didn’t pass by. The gentleman was very friendly and pleasant. The food was served quite timely. It is home cooked basic and tasty food. A group of ladies came in and the server looked at each of them in turn to confirm he had remembered their usual drinks order. He obviously takes notice of his customers and regulars. Strongly recommend.

Excellent find. Friendly greeting, excellent service. Drink order taken promptly and arrived soon after. The menu accommodates varying appetites and certainly satisfies the larger appetite if required. The breakfast is excellent. I very much recommend the Garden Shed cafe.

Greeted as soon as we walked in and shown to our table, gave us just the right amount of time to choose and took our order, drinks arrived promptly and food not long after, one of the best cooked breakfasts we have had for a very long time, delicious food cooked perfectly and great friendly service at a fair price, will definitely be back on a regular basis.

Great little find! After reading about "the best breakfast in Fareham" we hunted it down. The place is lovely, the staff very pleasant, and the breakfast was superb! Would definitely recommend it.

Good done very Well, Excellent customer service from start to finish. Went with three friends for lunch, all our meals were excellent. I had a large breakfast but asked for it without black pudding, to which i was offered a substitute and chose bacon. Highly recommend and I will be back again.

Stumbled across this cute place The Garden Shed Cafe in Fareham on our journey back to Northampton from Victorious Festival - what a little Gem - spotlessly clean cafe & WC (which gives a great insight into standards) & a lovely brekky to boot ! Highly recommend.

Visited the garden shed cafe again, this time tried the all day breakfast….fantastic meal! There is a review from Dining Out hanging on the wall that says they are a reminder of how good a cafe breakfast can be…that says it all, it was the best cafe breakfast I have had in years, can’t recommend it enough

This little cafe offered a great range of menu choices to suit all, prompt service and good food, with some humour and a warm welcome thrown in. Great for a family trip.

Love love love Found by chance a few years ago when I moved to the area and it's my go to cafe. Food is great, staff are so friendly and know their regulars by name and there usual food choices. Nothing is yo much trouble and will cook your food to how you like it as I liked everything of mine overcooked 😂 highly recommend

Marco is always lovely and friendly. Really enjoyed our breakfast and I was so pleased to see that tinned tomatoes are now an option instead of grilled tomatoes! For me, they make a fry-up!!

I visited the garden shed this morning for breakfast with friends. It is my favourite place to go for breakfast. The service is fantastic, it is always spotlessly clean and they follow the covid rules properly but the best bit is the food. I had avocado on toast with crispy bacon and poached egg and it was delicious. I come here regularly and it is always perfect, I would highly recommend this lovely cafe.

Cannot recommend this cafe enough. Breakfast with friends this morning. A very warm welcome from the owners Marco and Amanda. The food, as always, was delicious and beautifully presented. So much choice and happy to tweak the dishes to suit personal preferences. Nothing was too much trouble. There were four of us and we all chose something different and every meal was lovely. There was a steady flow of customers whilst we were there confirming its popularity. If you're looking for good food with friendly efficient service in homely surroundings, then The Garden Shed Cafe is definitely for you. You will not be disappointed.

Love the breakfasts here. Highly recommend . I'm not a fan of meat sausages and their veggy sausages are not pretend meat its vegetables. All high quality food. Always served hot and in a timely manner. Cute little cafe

My wife and I were first time visitors here and popped in for breakfast. We were attended to immediately, seated and had a fresh menu offered. The gentleman gave us a few minutes to decide what we would like and took our order with a smile, politeness and professionalism. Within 5 minutes, our order was served, piping hot and very well presented. The portions were huge (I’m a big guy and like my food, but this plate beat me). We were then left in peace to enjoy our meal. Excellent service, excellent value and a beautifully authentic interior.

We’ve been to Marco’s fantastic’shed’ numerous times for breakfast and he never disappoints! Always a clean and friendly atmosphere and the food is well cooked and presented. A family favourite!

Lovely little cafe.The staff are very friendly and considerate, with COVID restrictions being enforced. A pleasant atmosphere within a nicely decorated cafe with a delicious breakfast. Medium breakfast and a coffee were devoured. A very tasty feed and a yummy coffee. If I am back in Fareham in the future, I’ll definitely be back, with a bigger appetite, aiming to take on the larger breakfast. The cafe is pet friendly with snacks and a water bowl for the furbabies.

Just love the Garden Shed. The friendly service is second to none. The food is amazing and good choice of portion sizes especially with the breakfasts. Varied menu choice and excellent value for money.Only just starting to eat out since lockdown and this place is still one of my favourite places to eat.If you haven’t tried it, you should. It’s only a small place so Would recommend to book.

Wanted to come back here when they reopened and support the cafe as the food is delicious! We had another superb breakfast each and also took away one of the lasagne's to have later for dinner. It was absolutely scrumptious! Lovely little place and Marco is always so friendly.

Always 10/10. Eat here regularly. Some will question the cost, but ill always pay abit extra for high-quality meat and bread. You pay cheap you pay twice

Lovely welcome from the staff at the Garden Shed Cafe. Today we wanted soup and this is the place for soups, we were offered a choice of 5 different soups with a choice of breads. Opted for the brocolli and Stilton which was lovely and it inspired me to come home and cook my own. Nice peaceful cafe with welcoming friendly staff and a good range of menu choices. Stretch your legs out of the precinct and try this cafe.

Visited several times for just coffee or breakfast or lunch. Every time it is welcoming, nothing is too much trouble, the food all freshly prepared or cooked. Breakfasts are amazing. Would certainly recommend.

Lovely garden themed cafe. About 15 things I wanted to order on the menu so I randomly picked small cooked breakfast and upgraded to Cumberland sausage for 50p. Order taken swiftly, drinks came quickly and nice and hot, then the food. Had mum and dad with me and we all thought it worth a review as it has everything you'd want from a cafe done well. Clean and tastefully decorated inside. I'll be going back again for sure.

Always a friendly service here. And we are allowed to take out little dog in with us which is a bonus :). The breakfast is absolutely delicious and all three of us cleared our plates. Bubble and squeak with my fry up - what's not to like! I'd much rather go here than somewhere like harvester. The quality of food is lovely and I like to support my local high street. We will be back!

First time of visiting and glad I came. Had a large full English and so tasty and fresh. Everything is clean and tidy. The service can only be described as walking into a family living room as superb. Marco and his team run a great restaurant and also serve up some delicious lunch option too. I’ll be back.

I am constantly visiting The Garden Shed and realised I hadn’t reviewed this wonderful place! My sister introduced me to this gem not long after it had opened and I instantly loved the decor and the friendly atmosphere. I now always bring my children up for lunch here when in town, and I also recommend it to all my local friends! The food is delicious and they always take note of anything you don’t like on your plate (ie: no dressing on your salad!) It is a lovely place just to come and sit and watch the world go by.....and the cakes always look so enticing

Pleasant little cafe with friendly, welcoming staff and good food. My husband and I both had a medium breakfast and coffee. My only niggle would be that my pot of baked beans was half full of sauce and very few beans. We will definitely be back!

I’ve been to The Garden Shed Cafe many times. The menu is very good with lots of choice. You can have all day breakfasts, soup, jacket potatoes, sandwiches and much more. It’s very clean and the staff are always friendly and helpful.

Each time we visit the Garden Shed our expectations are exceeded. My wife,daughter and I visited on Bank Holiday Monday, I had the medium breakfast, my wife had the scrambled eggs on avocado and sourdough and my daughter made up her favourite of sausage and bacon. The food was excellent as was the service.

Tried the garden shed the other week with my friend. I had the shed load breakfast! I would say it is the best cafe in fareham for breakfast! Will definitely be returning again soon

Went here for a birthday treat, lovely little cafe with really nice food at a reasonable price. They serve fresh or tinned tomatoes with the breakfast which was a winner for me. Not often you find a place serving tinned tomatoes. Great staff, very efficient and food freshly cooked. Go and I'm sure you will enjoy

Saturday morning and it was full... The owner politely came to our table as asked if we were first (as another table was also waiting to be served) which we wasn't so he went to the other table and served them first... (right thing to do) we ordered coffee and breakfast... Coffee was lovely and not to hot... We up graded to the Cumberland sausage which was the right choice.. Breakfast was served quickly and was cooked perfectly.. The egg was runny and bacon was crispy.

Was in today for late breakfast early lunch. Was very happy with my visit. I had a properly good breakfast and the staff were more than happy to swap a few bits of the breakfast around for my picky eating habits and my wife thoroughly enjoyed her baked potato. Very happy again with everything and will be trying to get back before the end of our holiday.

Wonderful ambience, like the white clean look as you walk in and the homeliness if achieves in addition to that. The owner is always friendly, polite and welcoming and the food is delivered quickly and to a high standard. Good breadth of choices on the menu and consistent service across visits. Absolutely adore their vegetarian all day breakfast (I'm a meat eater but the vegetarian sausages are sublime). Highly recommended.

A friendly welcome to this comfortable, clean and airy cafe. Service was friendly and attentive. We ordered three different breakfast meals; all were prepared with care from good quality ingredients. Good vegetarian choices. An asset to the town and I'm happy to recommend. PS - the lady in the kitchen has a beautiful singing voice!

Delicious breakfast, especially the bubble and squeak. You can choose what you like and don’t have to have what’s on the menu. Coffees brilliant. Must try an early evening meal as they sell wine. Dogs are welcome which is very nice for us.

Found this on the way back from Southampton to Fareham, Worried it was a little bit 'greasy spoon' but they did have crushed avocado, poached egg & salmon on sour-dough toast so I was happy. Probably not much other choice aside from cooked breakfasts but I was happy.

Enjoyed delicious jacket potatoes here. Pleasant service nice décor and ambience. A bit less busy than the town centre eateries so give it a try. You'll probably like it.

This is very local to us so we wanted to give it a try. Basic surroundings but bright and friendly and really good food and service apart from having to wait a little loger than we would have wished. When breakfast arrived it was very good.

I visited again yesterday and, as always, very friendly staff and prompt service. I was having lunch with friends and they are always happy to return here. There is a wide range of food which we have sampled and it’s always of high quality. The decor is pleasing

Came a week ago for a lovely brunch. The owner was so friendly and helpful. The homemade cake was amazing. One of the best cakes I've ever had! Can't wait to visit again soon.

I really thought it was time to update my review of this little gem of a cafe, we first visited about 6 months ago , and were delighted to have discovered the 'shed' .

First time visit after seeing the good reviews. The cafe is clean and welcoming. I thought there was a miss match of branding as it felt vintage inside, there is a hint of South American and I couldn’t find anything that reminded me of a garden shed. However the breakfast was average. Not a lot of choice other than different variations of a full English which is fine if that’s what you want. No alternatives are available e.g pastries, fruit, omelettes etc. The coffee is good even though it comes from a machine. Pleasant service and reasonable prices.

I just happened to pop in here around a month ago with my partner after we had been shopping in Fareham Town Center. The food was of a great standard I had a lovely salad & she had a sandwich, for a small local cafe the quality of the ingredients was amazing & it all tasted fantastic

Another amazing lunch at the Garden shed!! I highly recommend the Breakfast and the Lasagna, my favourite. I have had several visits; the food is always to a very high standard truly delicious. The staff is friendly and attentive nothing is to much trouble. A lot of thought has gone into the decoration and theme of the café, with attention to small details. I particularly liked the milk served in small milk bottles. The kitchen is open for all to see how immaculately clean it is. I noticed it is also pet friendly.

We came here for breakfast and were surprised when we walked in to find some tables were reserved. After a fabulous breakfast - cooked well, presented well and served well - we were less surprised.

I would strongly urge you to visit The Garden Shed. The food and cakes are showstoppers! Delicious, handmade and served with a smile. I had the coronation chicken and it was as good as the one my Grandmother used to make.

Was kind of opposite to where I had a meeting, came out of meeting starving saw the cafe 2 breakfasts can’t complain at all. Great service food top tea. It’s on the upper end of cafe food prices but was great.

A really clean and friendly cafe, trying very hard to encourage and keep customers with attentive waiting and lovely, freshly cooked food. It would be nice to move away from the bulk standard paninis and jackets for lunch - boring and predictable, but the breakfast I had was lovely. I would recommend.

My husband took me for breakfast a return visit from himself . Really lovely full breakfast and cuppa tea for the both of us . Large plate of perfectly presented and cooked food. Good friendly service from the owner . The cafe is decorated clean and tidy with few shed in mind props. Pleasant place to visit through out the day . Will recommend to others and revisit again soon .

What a lovely find. Menu very good, food delicious, super clean inside and the owner and staff so friendly and professional, and what's more they allow dogs too (our Beagle was very well behaved and sat under the table but suddenly became very interested when the owner got the doggy biscuits out!) Shall be returning for sure.

I was lucky enough to win "cream tea for two" in the Christmas raffle at the gym. We went today and it was a delightfully well appointed cafe. The owner found us a comfy table for two and brought us a warm scone with jam and cream with a tea/coffee. It was very well supported and the owner served everyone himself. It was obvious that most had been before which is always a good sign.my friend used the ladies which she said was in keeping with the decor in the cafe and very clean. Over all we were delighted with our cream tea "win". we will go again.

I visited the Garden Shed on a week day for lunch. The decor has a garden theme, which cheered us up as it was gloomy & raining outside.

My first visit to the premises with a friend. We received a warm welcome from the owner Marco. The premises were cold and we almost left. I am pleased we decided to stay as we enjoyed our experience. Portable radiators next to our seats provided warmth and Marco informed us that central heating is to be installed so please don't be put off by the chill. The premises were clean, fresh and airy. The food preparation area is visible from the public area which I think is always a good sign.

Excellent spread of freshly cooked food - the large all day breakfast is a challenge in itself, but there is also a Breakfast Shed Load.... good luck with that! Fresh surroundings, warm welcome, will definitely be back 😎

A new cafe, always remember it being a record / music shop before being boarded up for a while.

Been to this well decorated and friendly cafe several times and have tried something different on the menu each time. The breakfasts are AMAZING and portions are very good! The coffee is excellent. We will definitely be back soon!

Where to go for breakfast if you are in the Fareham area at 8am on a Sunday ....that was the dilemma , not that easy it turns out .

I had the small full breakfast and it was very well cooked and more than enough for me. The staff are very friendly and efficient. I really liked the decor and the relaxed atmosphere.
