I had the chicken quesadilla, chips, glass of white wine and it was a very nice light meal in the garden grill restaurant. Lovely waitress and very pleasant spot to eat without going out after a long flight.

Given the limited options here, most of the guests at Hilton Garden Inn London Heathrow have to go here for meals, unless they are willing to head back to airport, but take a train or bus to somewhere else. The service was actually quite good and the waiter was very helpful. However, the food was really below average. I had the potato leek soup and steak, and both were under-seasoned. The tables are also not cleaned properly and the salt and pepper shakers are not even refilled. You will not be surprised that many of the salt shakers are empty. They need to do better with the quality of food.

I was staying at the Hilton Garden Inn hotel, which is on the perimeter of a large international airport with not very much around it. From that unprepossessing start of effectively having no choice I then very much enjoyed the meal I had at the Garden Grille. I arrived after a long day and on arrival reception booked a table for me for 20 minutes after I had arrived. So, duly washed and freshened up I went to the restaurant, where I was greeted well and shown to the table set aside for me. A very pleasant pint of IPA was provided and I ordered the Chicken and leek pie. I have to say, it was very very good; the pie was tasty and the vegetables and potatoes were more than ample. The 45 minutes I spent in the restaurant where enhanced by very pleasant staff, and I thought that -for where I was - I got a decent meal at a reasonable price. So I’ll give it 4* - I would under some circumstances gone all the way up to 5* but like so many places these days we have the noise pollution of piped music, very sad. But if you’re here overnight, in transit, you’ll get a perfectly good meal without much fuss

We had a good supper for two, a nice bottle of wine and the price was reasonable. They do a good curry in this area of London.

The food is not something I will remember, however service was swift and friendly. Prices were reasonable. There are no alternatives around, thus the option is to take out or order delivery.

The menu has a decent amount of choices, (the bar a little more variety than the restaurant) but the food is quite bland/plain.

Breakfast had a very good selection; cooked breakfast, cereals, toast, omelettes, pastries, fruit, tea, coffee, juice etc. It was all delicious but could have been hotter. The first morning it was somewhat cold, which lessened the enjoyment though the second morning it was considerably warmer. Overall, really enjoyed the breakfast here!

We ate dinner here the night before flying back to the States. We were surprised by how good the food was! We ordered the steak and ale pie, and shared a lemon tart with clotted cream for dessert. Both dishes were excellent. The service was also very good - we were served promptly, and the waitress was welcoming. In the morning, we ate breakfast here, which was ok, but nothing special.

Friendly and efficient staff welcome you. The dinner menu was varied and meals ordered came promptly and were delicious. Breakfast buffet was vast in choices and freshly made eggs to order (and waffles) made for a great start to a travel day.

Friendly staff, good service and great food. This covers both the bar and the restaurant as the same kitchen does the cooking. We had dinner the first night in the grille. The next night we had appies and drinks in the bar and our final morning we had breakfast in the grille. Lunch and dinner in the grille you choose from the menu. Breakfast is only a buffet. No open menu. The buffet had a large assortment of foods and omelettes while you wait.

Arrived just before 9.30pm on a Friday night, after checking that the restaurant was open till 10pm. Ordered a burger which was advertised as being accompanied with fries and onion rings. There were three onion rings - it barely even warranted the plural version of the word! Just after we’d started eating our main course, a waitress arrived with the dessert menu and told us we’d need to order dessert soon as the kitchen was closing at 10pm sharp. They weren’t kidding either - the bright house lights were even turned on just after 10pm to ‘encourage’ everyone to get out! This is a Hilton hotel right by an international airport, for goodness sake! Our bill for two came to £66. I’ve never resented paying a bill in a London restaurant more than this, or felt more embarrassed about the experience visitors to my city are receiving in this place.

Stayed here 2 days, so had a dinner and breakfast. Service at dinner is leisurely, but eventually gets to you. Had the French onion soup; the topping was a like a cracker with cheese on it, but the broth itself was good. Had the vegetarian lasagna, which while slightly overdone at one corner was generally pretty tasty. The sticky toffee pudding for dessert was delectable. Breakfast was a buffet, and at £14.95 I feel it is a rip-off. If you go be certain to get a chef-made omelet and not the fake scrambled eggs. The fruit was good, the yogurt was good, the croissant was good, but the coffee was dreadful. I would go into the airport, town or even London and get breakfast next time.

This is a nicely laid out restaurant with comfortable seating. We enjoyed dinner here. I had the French onion soup which was delicious! We were there early but were able to order from the full menu which was nice. The service was great and the prices were reasonable. We also had breakfast here as it came with our room. The breakfast was a buffet with made to order eggs. It was very good! We will definitely eat here again.

Your best bet while at the HGI LHR. I really enjoyed my grilled salmon fillet and the soup was perfect. I asked for extra sides after my meal arrived and they brought them in no time. Prices are reasonable too.

The Garden Grille was so dimly lit it was impossible to read anything, including the menu. Atmosphere? No! Chose the steak pie. Meat was good, but it was basically a stew filled out with vegetables and thick gravy, and spooned into a barely warm dish. It then had a pastry crust placed on top to make it look like a pie. Mash potato was so wet you could not keep it on the fork. Greens were full of inedible stalks. Waiter not interested in my thoughts, so mentioned at check out following morning, and the meal cost was removed from my bill. Breakfast in the morning was very acceptable.

Upon entry one is introduced to a slick yet understated decor. The china very simple but lovely the surrounding atmosphere soothing and the scents delightful. This place is one surprise after the other. My partner and I had just came back from 2 1/2 trip from three countries and was leaving back to the states the following morning. We just wanted some good food. We were going to go out that evening but so glad we changed our minds. The courses offered mad my mouth and heart and soul very happy. The wine was fantastic and the service was the cherry on top! Can't wait to go back to London so I can try some other dishes!!!

Stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn at Hatton Cross Tube Station. With blood sugar plummeting having just flown in from overseas, entered the restaurant inside the hotel. I ordered pork chops and was served the most outstanding meal of my current travels. The pork chops were 1.5 inches thick, cooked thoroughly and topped with baked apple like mother used to make. The meat was so tender you could almost cut it with a fork. The French Fries, onion rings and boiled greens completed the feast. All of this for less than 20 GBP. The young lady greeting and seating could not have been more welcoming to this wild-eyed wayfarer. Most excellent stay in the hotel, too. Reviewed separately. The Buffet Breakfast the next morning was also a winner. Everything you could imagine to eat in a pleasing presentation. Omelet and Waffle order station, too. Eat here and be happy.

It is a costa, there are plenty of seating inside. I have been here a few times and thieves seem to visit often taking peoples bags. Coffee is ok, they often run out of food.
