It’s been ages since I left an TA review and the involvement of AI here turns me off. Nevertheless, felt we had to document this aspect of our first visit to Hereford. This eatery wasn’t on our radar at all for our day out. Now we’ve found it, we will long remember it. Typically we opt for places with no piped in music but exceptions must be made from time to time and on the day there was great jazz playing at a quiet enough volume to that we could hear each other. And a thoroughly inviting atmosphere overall. Sat indoors due to frosty weather. Lovely, welcoming service and a truly delicious meal of soup + focaccia. The golden milk and dessert of plum tart were also quite good. A really special local café. We also value its food hygiene rating (a 5).

This was a lovely place for lunch. While I wish that the entire menu was vegan, so that we could have tried several other dishes, there were three things on the menu that were vegan (and the rest was vegetarian). My partner and I both chose a noodle bowl, with a peanutty sauce, and it was absolutely delicious! We followed up with coffee and some banana bread, which was equally delicious. Because it was warm weather, we were able to sit outside on the patio, which was really nice, and popped into a really sweet bookshop on the way back to the car.

This is THE best cafe in Hereford and sells the most delicious veggie and vegan whole food breakfasts, brunch, lunch, coffee and delicious cakes. If you are an ingredient only household, or follow Zoe like me, you know the food here is healthy and def home made and UPF free. It is my favourite go-to spot and it never disappoints. It is tiny inside but has a lovely garden courtyard with plenty of seating. It is also dog friendly and my border collie Stan always loves a visit too. Favourites to order include the Focaccia sandwiches, granola breakfast and the toasted banana bread with chocolate spread. Cappuchin yard is tucked away on the cutest Hereford Street which includes Rossiters, Fodders, and more. A stones throw from the Cathedral. Highly recommend

Lovely small vegan and veggie cafe with outside seating. We stopped here for lunch, very small inside and it was very busy but we managed to get a table for 2 and our little girl sat on our laps. Didn't see any highchairs but there wouldn't have been room for one anyway. Ample outdoor seating on a nice day, but unfortunately it was raining the day we did. Staff all lovely and friendly the place had a lovely vibe and dog friendly. Food was nice and the cake really good! Even put together a little meal for my daughter as there wasn't a kids menu. Unfortunately there isn't any baby changing facilities as its a very small toilet around outside the cafe. Overall a lovely place with good vibes, would visit again on a sunny day to make use of the outdoor seating.

Went to Clifford's for a birthday breakfast. I had the breakfast baguette and my wife had sausage, tom and hash brown baguette. I was a bit taken back by the pricing but for the value of the sandwich you get it's 100% worth it! Atmosphere down as a 4 as I had the food to takeaway.

Brilliant stay at Chapel House. I have a food intolerance and they couldn’t have done more for me, individually picking out options for me and putting oat milk in my room. Food and hospitality excellent as always.
