The Garden in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

Recently visited on our holiday. Great food, really tasty and served promptly. Even a picky daughter was happy. Highly recommend.

We called in for brunch or, more pertinently, a Garden Brunch which is my favourite - I just love the fried focaccia! As always it was delicious and, as always, the staff were brilliant and friendly as ever. Our 2 dogs were made to feel at home even though they did provide obstacles for the staff from time to time - sorry 🙏 We look forward to our next visit and it was great to see you getting your pop up Mermaid Bar ready for the season 👍

Excellent service and the food was super. We were seated upstairs. Really nice location with open kitchen. Warm and friendly team. Refurb looks great downstairs as well. Sunday roasts were amazing. Very generous portion size with extra gravy when serving. One brunch order which was very nice French toast and maple bacon. Definitely recommend if you get to the Isle of Wight. I am sure the outside area will be lovely in the summer

We went for a breakfast which we both enjoyed the scrambled eggs were delicious with the smoked salmon always enjoy and always recommend

This is normally a go to place for us but today fell short of expectations. We were served lovely coffee and placed an order for eggs royal and salmon sourdough. We waited a very long time and eventually the food arrived. The portions were smaller than before, the toast and muffin were cold and overdone. The best bit was the smoked salmon! Not sure what went wrong as meals coming out as we left looked far better

Really disappointed with our visit today. Food was wonderful and great menu choices… However, upon arriving we were greeted by who I can only assume was the manager, who had no customer service skills whatsoever, she pointed to a table and said “you sit there”. Ten mins later we were given menus, and our order was taken shortly after. Our drinks took 30 mins to arrive, and one of them was made incorrectly with whole milk rather than oat. Our food took a while, which is fine because it was worth the wait (cannot fault the food, delicious!) Our visit was spoiled by the staff, all very frantic not knowing what they were doing, eating behind the drinks areas and rolling their eyes at people, overheard managers talking about customers being rude. Felt very unprofessional, which in result made us feel quite unwelcome and cut our visit short and left as soon as we asked 3 times for the bill. Crappy service, nice food. But unfortunately, I would not recommend.

Absolutely dreadful food, fish no flavour, batter over cooked, chips over cooked, burger burnt, cold apple crumble. Absolutely worse food I’ve eaten

Went for my partners birthday and had a fabulous time. Sarah served us and made sure we had drinks offered water, service was great and the food was delicious. Highly recommend

A place with amazing food and a great atmosphere. Eating outside in the garden gave it the vacation feel. We could have been in the Caribbean or Med. There was a good variation on the menu but not too much (Fish, Pizza, Salad & Steak). Our waitress was nice, friendly and attentive. Although it was Cowes week and its in the middle of Cowes it was reasonably priced.

Was only popping in for a coffee then saw the Menu. Food was outstanding and the staff were very friendly, polite and efficient. Great choice of menu, will definitely be back soon.

We stopped by chance after getting off the ferry. Best sausage sandwich ever! Well appointed, nice ambience and good value.

Lovely position with an enclosed garden, Friendly staff and excellent service. Good food, very enjoyable.and reasonably priced.

Had the breakfast (expensive). Bacon with barely cooked fat. Sausage likewise. "Fried" foccaccia was absolutely aturated in cheap vegetable oil. Only acceptable item was mini hashbrown. Clearly the objective is to create a breakfast solely in an underpowered microwave to avoid needing any simple cooking ability. And it showed.
