Motion Pitchers provided the bar and disco for the evening function at our wedding. They arrived right on the time we agreed, the team of 3 were all polite, smiley, funny, helpful and really engaged with the event, our guests commented on how nice the bar staff were. Good, well stocked and competitively priced bar which looked the business, good sound system which was perfect to dance the night away. Dez kept me well informed by e-mail the whole time from the initial booking to the night before the party. I would have no hesitation in booking these guys again for any future parties I want to put on, they come very highly recommended. If you are looking for a local company to provide you with a bar and/or disco, Motion Pitchers should be your first choice. Well done guys!

We can not rate Dez and the chaps at Motion Pitchers highly enough! They went the extra mile and more for us and our wedding guests. The marquee was superb seating our 60 guests comfortably through all the elements that our typical British countryside wedding threw at us! The bar was stocked beyond expectations. I was even introduced to a new favourite gin, Rhubarb and Ginger, which was to die for! If you are looking for a mobile bar or a marquee for a special event, you have found the company you need. We used Motion Pitchers for our wedding on a farm on Dartmoor - For the bar service and to supply the sound and lighting at the reception. They did a great job in all respects, before during and after. Dez and his assistant Luke gave great service at the bar, tables and in the garden, and added to everyone's enjoyment. Unprompted, they also went the extra mile in many small ways that really made such a difference on the day. Didn't have time for a wine tasting before the event, but Dez delivered good quality as promised. I'm more than happy to recommend them.

Dez and the team fitted in perfectly with our wedding day . Friendly professional staff added to the happy atmosphere and our guests had only positive things to say about the service and the chat. They set up without any fuss, kept us all well watered and the next day when my wife and I returned to clear up you would not have known the bar had been there at all. I will not hesitate to use them again for any future celebrations.

We held a 20th Anniversary Charity event and Motion Pitchers provided the cash bar on the night for over 150 people. I can't thank Dez enough for all his help - from completing the Event Notice, to sorting out the welcome drinks, to setting everything up for the night - he couldn't have been more helpful and professional. He and his staff were absolutely brilliant on the night and the comments from those attending were incredibly complimentary. Thanks Dez - you and your team are absolute stars!

I got married a few weeks ago and motion pitchers did the food, marquee and bar. What a truly amazing day they made it for us! Communication was great and all the staff were friendly and polite. Nothing was too much, during both the planning process and the day itself. The new marquee looked fantastic fully dressed with lights and lined with voile, especially in the evening, it all looked very magical and created a calm space for our guests to chat. Everyone commented on how amazing the pulled pork lunch was and the finer details such as potato salad and personalised serving boxes made it even better. I cannot thank Dez and his team enough for making our day so special and memorable!

Used Motion Pitchers for my mum and dads 25th wedding anniversary, they were brilliant! Great friendly service right from enquiry all the way through to the guys behind the bar. They had great prices, beer and spirits were cheap, and the disco was great too. I Would highly recommend Motion Pitchers to anyone looking for a great party!

Motion Pitchers provided a first class night for nearly 100 guests!!! Everything was well organised, the food and entertainment was fantastic - we couldn't have asked for a better service. And on top of all that the price was very reasonable too. Thanks Dez and the team, everyone was talking about it for weeks after. So much so, we have now just booked our Christmas do with Motion Pitchers too. Counting down the days!!! A brilliant night!!!

My wife hired Motion Pitchers for my 40th birthday party in our local village hall. They were fab. The attention to detail was great and there wasn't a moment when the dance floor was empty! We had an eclectic mix of relatives (as is normal in Devon) and everyone came away happy. Bar staff - friendly, polite and happy to talk to anyone and everyone. I've since been to other events where Motion Pitchers have been doing the bar/disco and again, consistently brilliant. The boss, Dez, made an effort to check throughout the evening that we were happy with the event, which is the type of customer service you want. I run my own business and have a good understanding of customer care - these guys have it nailed. I've booked them for my funeral - some say there will be dancing

Great company! Top quality bar, well organised, friendly staff.... Wouldn't use anyone else!

Just used Motion Pitchers for our wedding anniversary celebration. The bar was excellent, so nice to have a proper cold pint. The range of drinks from the bar was extensive especially when you consider it is transported to your venue. We also had the disco, again excellent. The DJ was more than happy to tailor the music to suit the "varied" audience we had. Have to say the smoke machine and snow machine suited the younger guests to a tee. All in all i would thoroughly recommend for your special occasion.

I think Tony Best - see review above - has got his review 100% wrong. I have been to two events where Motion Pitchers have provided the disco and bar, and found them to be a very professional business. So much so, I have booked them to provide the bar and disco for my wedding reception later this year. Dez, the owner, is fantastic in the way he has kept in touch with us since we booked, to discuss our requirements. His bar staff are excellent and very friendly. Ignore Tony's comments, if you need a professional mobile bar and disco, Motion Pitchers comes highly recommended!!

Good Bar Poor Disco. Shame the bar was ok (bit dirty) & Beer was a bit warm (i like mine cold) Disco Sound Quality was poor (Just a very cheap set-up) like you find in maplin. So if your looking for a Professsional Disco these are not the one.
