The Fryery in North Lanarkshire

Got a sausage supper, it was awful. The portion size is atrocious for the price. Not that it mattered as it was so greasy I put it in the bin after 3 bites.

I really don't like doing bad reviews however I make no apology with this one. I ordered a Sausage Supper from here today as no other chippy's are open in afternoon. This was my first time and will be last. I have heard all the stories how bad the food is and after experiencing it myself it was nothing short of disgusting. Never again.

Fish special was stinking the dog wouldn't even eat it chips were awful worst chippy I've ever ate.

Opened the pizza box with the chilli hotdog inside to find a big beetle crawling over it .phoned the shop and was promised a full refund .no refund given and safe to say the rest of the £30 order went straight in the bin . cleanliness clearly not up to scratch. Never again.

Worst chippy in Cumbernauld. They seriously need to change their oil and clean their fryers out. I couldn't eat the food from there. It was disgusting.

Ordered food from here they took my money and I waited over an hour and half for delivery and it kept changing the arrival time. I tried to call the shop and it was closed so now I am down 30 pounds and no food.. Do not order from here.

The staff tried their best and the prices were ok but the chips were the worst I’ve seen in years most went in the bin I didn’t even have the heart to feed them to the seagulls

Worst mince pie I've ever had, she puts it in the microwave and then in the deep fryer, mince was hard and burnt and the in danger of breaking a tooth on the pastry.

The smallest portion, one fish cut into two for Nine quid Hardly any chips. A total and utter rip off. Avoid.

From start to finish best experience of ordering from the shop direct avoiding placing an order thru justeat as there a bunch of criminals. Mark the owner came out to take my order with great big smile and gave me am extra pickle 😋. The sausage was huge 😋

The, worst. Chippy in. Cumbernauld, chip's are supposed to be golden brown not white. They don't even look like they've been in a. Fryer don't even mention the fish absolutely disgusting! There are better chips shop's available avoid.

Useful when your from out of town and either a college or high school student, it gets jam packed with primarily high school pupils, love the sausage and pizza.

Can be a hit or a miss on the chips sometimes but that's not an issue as I prefer fritters which have always been good use this chippy once a week.

This place seems to change hands frequently so opening times and food quality can feel hit or miss if you are only ordering once or twice a month. Unfortunately, when I last went, they were only taking cash, not card, which is quite an issue for today's world - but I believe this was only a temporary issue.

Go in regular for the special batter he puts on my fish. when I feel adventurous I get double sausage or maybe a cheeky wee black pudding and have never been left disappointed by this. Love it, so does Sarah Janye Ingils she loves a warburton roll since it's a chippie and no a bakery

Phoned an order of fish and chips for my in laws to be delivered, chips were disgusting and cold, fish was ok but not brilliant, thought we would give it a try as we normally use the Trio, well think we will be going back to the Trio plus they are cheaper and its always hot when its delivered.

Portion size was very small, didn't receive our pickles we ordered, tasted bland even when we asked for extra Salt n vinegar. Poor show

I ordered a smoked sausage supper . And a 2 litre bottle of iron bru .Came to over£10, with delibery which i waited an hour and a half for. There was only a handful of chips which were thin crusty disgusting things!! Won't be back to this place!!

Honestly disgusting, i ordered a 16" munchy box to discover half the contents were missing only a third of the box was filled even at that it was soggy cold and nasty , chips were reheats, the chicken turned out to be fish and everything else was disgraceful the box was swimming in the grease not even worth trying almost £30 for a disappointing start to my evening, gravy was good though

Had another fantastic dinner tonight fresh fish cracking chips mozzarella sticks and scrumptious onion rings ...first class service ...delivery guy very polite be ordering again and again and be telling friends the fryerys the place to order from thank to all

Munchy box on way home from pub is the business

Ordered a deliver, it took over 1hr30mins. When it got here everything was cold, chips were soggy and cheese topping on pizza was stuck to the wrapper because it had been left for so long. Will not be ordering again.

Chip where awful won't go back

The man that served me is so friendly and the friters i bought were made fresh.

When chipshops put the plastic plates in the paper to make it look like your getting more chips than putting them straight into the paper.

Visited yesterday as per recommendation. Quality supper- chips were fresh and the fish was of decent quality.

Don't go after 4pm no fritters or cones of chips

Disgusting! Not cooked, and wrapped in paper dispite having cheese on top! Guy thet answered the phone was not interested and hung the phone up, this after delivery driver flung the bag at me *payed with card*, and forgot the juice 😠 Went total down hill recently, go to another chippy to avoid diasapointment! ***please allow pictures to show how bad the food was...

Amazing chip shop. Pleasant people and opens late to suit everyone on the weekend. Food is always cooked to perfection and piping hot. Been a regular customer for many years and never had any problems in 8 years. 5* xx

Will never buy from here again..just bought a special fish supper and it was beyond disgusting..it had obviously been lying for ages and the fish had all dried out inside .it was as hard as a brick....will stick to marinis in future...

Delivery time means nothing according to thicko I spoke too. Waiting an hour and a half for a fish supper ? It's a joke, staff and manager are morons who don't seem to "know" anything at all. Won't use again.

Found mold all round the lip of the can, didn't realise until after I had a sip.
