Worst kebab I’ve ever had tasted like rubber, machine not even on, no forks so asked for some sauce on chips to eat on the way home I was told there was none left so asked for the last tub of sauce (10.50, shuts at 11) was told it was a £1!, service not great won’t be back. Tikka tika it is! I Was really hungry as well and I don’t usually complain, not looking for anything for free and if the service was good I would have given it another try but..

Best take away in Cumbernauld for sure. Try the Chicken Tikka Calzone with no mushrooms and extra green chillies. Heart attack in a box but well worth it. Very tasty and the staff are great.

Takeaway shop good food at good price

Picked up our meal tonight which was ordered at the counter. Mixed pakora and chicken tikka masala. Pakora was awful, didn't taste like regular pakora, and batter was soggy. Curry was tasteless. Wouldn't recommend and most definitely won't be back!

JAS the call handler was amazing, I got food that was cold due to time and area where I live and the young man took the time to speak and work out where his driver had been and offered me a free meal the next time I ordered. I called today a week later and he knew who I was and told me my meal would be free and that included delivery, I told him that I was happy to pay 50% and he said no it's free, I told him that I would pay half which he agreed to and he begrugently accepted. Top guy and very nice customer service and for this JAS I will 100% be back .

Ordered a meat box Nan was clearly not freshly baked got 2 pakora sauces instead of a chilli and the lamb tikka resembled more of a seek kebab used this takeaway for years but the current management has lowered the standards considerably

This place is ridiculous. Ordered at 4.50pm and called at half 6 to check on it. Was told it was cancelled but zero communication from them. Then got a bit annoyed saying I threatened to call the police. Passed between a few folk none of them could explain why. I've had deliveries from them before but never again. I'd avoid these thieves at all costs.

Got kebab with chilli sauce only got drop on it and the kebab was all dry and hard and never got sauce on other kebab and bread all hard and waited for hour in a half for it get delivered never order here again

Order arrived reasonably quickly, lots of masala sauce, but very little chicken! In fact, there were six bits of chicken, drowned in the sauce. The egg rice was not the best I've had, but was palatable, plenty of it to soak up the sauce! Had worse, but please chook up the chicken!

Food is nice but delivery is a shambles. Ordered at 17:49 and had to phone to see where delivery was. Eventually got at 19:14. Website said delivery was 40 mins. Probably go elsewhere if u want food earlier.

Ordered a take away last night...Christmas Day. Food was lovely and decent sized portions. Thought I'd have a long wait for delivery but food arrived on time and female driver was lovely.

Delivery driver attitude was shocking, food was freezing

Food arrived 1hour 50 min after placing order and freezing after calling the shop 3 times told them I would send it back if cold, it’s was freezing so told driver to take it back and her husband came into my garden banged on my door threatened my husband while screaming and shouting them damaged my garden light by slamming my gate and have it all of video. Called store and they said send the police to the shop then !!!!

Over 45 minutes late, calls don't go through to the number provided, they tried to put it as delivered on the just eat app then changed it when put an update request through the app, this place is a shambles

I'd give zero stars if I could. Ordered through the app at 18:30 by 19:34 it still had not arrived. Phoned them and was told the driver is on his way but didn't arrive until after 19:50. By the time it arrived the pizza and chips were absolutely stone cold. Phoned again to be told "there's no way it could be cold as the driver picked it up and went straight to my house" well that's an absolute lie as I still had to wait over 15mins from when I phoned chasing up the order to it actually arriving! Asked to speak to a manager and was told they'd phone me back. After waiting 25mins I still hadn't received a call back from the manager so I phoned again and was told the manager was out, clearly the manager lacks customer service skills. I asked for a refund however I'll be surprised if the refund gets processed and put back in my account! The food is still in my kitchen waiting to be picked up by the driver to prove it has not been eaten however its now half 10 at night and no driver has appeared. Absolute disgraceful customer service! I'll never be using this place again! No respect for their customers.

Absolutely shambles of a business under new managment . Got order wrong, told 30 min and would send out corrected item 1hr 30min later had to phone back to be told that they havent even corrected as they are busy . So put order at 5pm it's now 7.45 and still no order .

I have ordered previously with no complaints. Ordered 2 x 10inch grill boxes by phone tonight for delivery. What arrived was 2 x 10inch munchy boxes, when we called re the error we were met with 'thats what you ordered' despite explaining that it wasn't we were basically told tough. Spoke with Mr Singh who preceded to shout down the phone that that was what the order was and no one would be collecting it or replacing. Within 1minute he had decided that he had listened to the call recording and the girl that took the order had worked their 4 years and didn't make mistakes. The girl herself tried her best to help but the owner could do with sending himself on a customer service course. Appalling customer service, mistakes happen, its how you rectify them that sets your standard.

I wouldn't normally complain, but I am so disgusted at service, or lack of, this evening and the quality of the food. Ordered on Just Eat at 7.30pm, called at 9.09pm as still not recieved. Advised it was on its way. 9.40 the food arrived. Burnt, cold and a hair in it!! We used to really enjoy the food from here but lately we have been unhappy with the quality and the service

Food was absolutely disgusting dry reheats nothing fresh could tell chips were left in basket for next order the lamb meat looked yellow inside and not because of spices and chicken seemed to be have been cooked the night before an absolute disgrace

For god sake don’t go near this place . Went onto shop ordered kebab with salad , sauce got home to find out only kebab meat , phoned they sent driver down to collect kebab but no replacement . Phoned then 10 times or more that night , got them on the Sunday afternoon they actually robbed me still waiting for my money back . Owner a robbing bas .

In this difficult time i totally expected my order to be late. But on arrival absolutely gorgeous. Ok i know i haven't had an Indian for nearly 2 months, but i throughly enjoyed my meal. Didnt mind the wate as the food tasted as amazing as ever. Thank you Tartan Tikka

Food was disgusting, Turkish staff were rude and abusive. Food went straight in the bin and they refused to give me my £27.75 back. Will never use this place again POOR

Tasty Tarka daal, excellent paneer pakora.

Ordered a delivery and upon opening found they'd sent the wrong dishes. Called and they agreed to send the right items. Waited almost one hour for the replacement to arrive, by that time the naan and rice were cold and half of us had finished eating when others hadn't even started. On top of this we were charged for the incorrect items which were dearer and weren't offered a refund of the difference (was a small amount but not really the point). Food was okay when it came.

Absolutely awful customer service used them for years and the past 3 orders have taken close to 3 hours for delivery. When I call for an update I get a complete lie about when the driver left. No apology, no discount and the way I have been spoken to on the phone was disgraceful. As I'm typing this on a Monday night it's now been 3 hours and have still not received our food that has been bought and paid for already and I've been hung up on by the owner. I've spent at least £2000 with this tae away over the years and I'm absolutely disgusted

Always ordered from here but after wrong order and abuse from the man on the phone, we never ordered for months but decided to try it again as the food I always lovely but tonight we waited 2 and a half hours for food not even an apology just told it would be there we are busy called twice and the second time was told the same as the first time "waiting on the driver to come back" wouldn't even give 1 star

Charged for food that I never received over just eat. Marked as delivered upon calling shop was told with attitude to go through just eat. Money came out of bank and had to wait over a week for refund. Lucky I have cameras at my house. If your ordering from cumbernauld go with sizzle. Better reviews for a reason.

I will NEVER be back! The attitude of the staff is rotten. I would avoid this place at all cost. If your after great service and food I would go to tikka tikka in seafar.

I don't normally post negative reviews but on this occasion I think it's necessary. I often order from Tartan and the food and service is normally top notch but on this occasion it wasn't. I ordered a deep pan pizza with onion rings at 7.50 on JustEat with a promised delivery time of 8.35, the delivery didn't arrive until 9.20, I understand that things can go wrong from time to time and it may take longer than usual but to not at least give me a wee 2 minute courtesy call to say it'll be longer than usual was very poor. When the driver arrived there wasn't an acknowledgement or even an apology, that was very poor. Also I always make sure, even when I pay by card, to give the driver a couple of quid as I know how hard it is but there wasn't any gratitude or acknowledgement to that either, shocking stuff. The food was dire, the pizza wasn't what I ordered, wasn't deep pan and was cold. The onion rings were stale. Only thing that was decent was the Pakora sauce. Overall a very poor experience, won't be returning any time soon.

Traditional chicken bhoona from tartan tikka used to be good --- now i don't think they know how to make one --- this was like the colour of bright red chicken pakora --- a chicken bhoona it was not! I had to leave around 3/4 to the recycling bin. Purchased evening 06/01/2018.

Shocking! am absolutely appalled at the service I have received tonight, called for delivery at 10:25, called back at 11:30 to find out how much longer it would be, was just told "it's out with the driver" it's now 1am and I have No delivery!! In all my years I have probably had thousands of takeaways, NEVER have I NOT received it. I can assure you I will never call again. God knows how you are still in business. Not for long with that kind of service. I have sinced e-mailed with No response no apology no excuse

Ordered food at 7.20... was told would be within 40mins! 8.15, called back was told food had left 15 mins ago! and should be with me in a few mins! Still no food at 8.50, driver appeared with cold food at 9pm! Explained how long we have been waiting and wanted too check food! Food was cold and mush.. sent back no apologies from driver, shocking service and lies! When we spoke to shop they did say that at the time of order the time was correct but got lot more orders in and apologies.. looks like greed for business rather than dealing with first come first served!

Ordered tonight, after looking at a menu that was posted through my door , being a first time customer {and last} i ordered a veg curry , what arrived looked like a recycled red tandoori slurg that made its way to the bin , i ripped up the menu and will never recommend this place to any one , utter rubbish
