Once more the Frustrated Chef has excelled. This isn't our first take away from here and certainly won't be our last. Delicious and great value for money.

Ordered a takeaway for my girlfriends birthday. Simply Amazing fragrant food. Ordered five dishes to share wasn't quite sure what to expect but wasn't disappointed. Very generous portions at great prices. Definitely be ordering again and be dinning out here when things get back to normal. Gem of a restaurant on the high Road.

Excellent food and lovely staff. Will definitely visit again. My husband enjoyed the Korean chicken and my daughter and I had vegetarian options which were lovely.

Ordered our third lockdown takeaway last Saturday. Like the others it arrived slightly early, absolutely welcome. The food was lovely, particularly Korean chicken and the beetroot, apple and feta salad. Excellent quality and huge portions.

We had a table booked for Saturday night but lockdown prevented us from coming, so got a takeaway on the Friday instead. It was absolutely delicious, on time and one of the best meals we have had with very generous portion sizes. Thank you so much to the team - it was fantastic and we will certainly be getting another one before the end of lockdown!

We have been trying to support local businesses during Covid and decided to give the Frustrated Chef a try based on recommendations from friends. We were really glad that we did as the food was fantastic! We had 4 tapas dishes with bread but were sadly too full for pudding. The quick service time was also a bonus for us, as we were tired after a 'frustrating' day dealing with house and work issues. We'd definitely go back again.

We celebrated our anniversary tonight and where better to go than to The Frustrated Chef. The food is always delicious and there's plenty to choose from. The customer service is impeccable and it's excellent value for money. We have never had a bad meal there and will therefore be back again before the year is out.

Had food delivered from here at the weekend and it was delicious. Huge portions so fed us for several meals. Good value for money! We loved everything we ordered.

We loved visiting the Frustrated Chef as a family pre-lockdown and we’ve been planning to get a takeaway for ages. Tonight we did and we weren’t disappointed. The food was delicious and the portions were really generous. The prawns we had were amazing! It was really easy to order online, and collection was really quick and safe. I noted on the order that a family member had allergies and the restaurant phoned prior to collection to confirm which dishes contained allergens so I had peace of mind. Brilliant!

Just had an excellent tapas meal using a very easy online booking service. Safe,friendly, prompt collection from restaurant. Superb tapas, full of taste in very generous portions. So nice to have a beautifully cooked meal for us after lockdown. 100% recommend! Thankyou to all concerned.

I ordered from the frustrated chef about a week ago we have been to the rest before for birthdays and anniversaries so we thought we would order again as I couldn’t be bothered to cook glad I did the food is still amazing and the delivery was on time The staff are all friendly and happy to help

We ordered takeaway for my husband's birthday in April and Frustrated Chef did not disappoint! We put our order in early (around 5 pm) and we were asked to give a preferred delivery time (7:15 pm). Our food arrived about 10 mins late but this was no big deal at all, especially considering the current pandemic. The portions were generous and the food was delicious. I especially enjoyed the risotto and Mediterranean couscous. Thank you, Frustrated Chef, for making my husband's lock-down birthday special and for being a culinary asset to Beeston!

I tried over the last 3 weekends to order a takeaway from the TFC and we were glad that we persisted. They are providing a takeaway service during the COVID-19 lock down and i hop that the fact that they are busy enables them to keep this great little restaurant open in the future.We were offered a time slot for our delivery and asked for one within 30 minutes and all our order arrived on time, freshly cooked and complete. A great service.As we should have been in Spain celebrating our anniversary this was the ideal replacement meal and i could recommend all of the dishes that we ordered but the Korean Pork was my favorite.I hope that we will be able to use the restaurant soon but if not it will be the takeaway again. The only difficulty that i had was getting through the very busy phone line but their technology will not be setup for takeaways and you have to wait for quality.

Ordered a takeaway from here on my daughters birthday ,took a while to phone through my order but well worth the wait. Food was excellent it is just the same as a visit to the restaurant. Highly recommended

The Frustrated Chef has become a favourite lunchtime spot on Beeston's High Road. Covid lockdown put paid to that. However, the team have kept the kitchen hobs burning with an absolutely delicious evening delivery menu. The food is just as tasty as normal; that is to say, it is delicious. The Korean pork in particular was melt-in-the-mouth good. The portions are very decent too: four meat dishes and three veggie dishes for four of us, left us with loads left for tomorrow lunch too.Recommended. Get your phone order in early- they are getting very busy as word gets around!

Very tasty food. Ordered from the lunchtime set menu which was more economical. Will definitely return. Service prompt. Food delicious.

We had a very early lunch, group of 7. First of all the bill was more than reasonable as most of the group took up the lunch deal.The food for me was overly seasoned, it was too rich. We had an array of dishes and it was all too full on, particularly the chicken dishes.The meatballs were too solid because they were essentially just meat with no filler, breadcrumbs etc. so with the larger size of them, it didn't work. I suppose it could be good with some tweaks but not for me this time.

First time visit to the frustrated chef. Service was friendly and the food came out fast much delight to my husband who has no patients when waiting for food. There is a good selection of dishes to order. We tried over 11 dishes all were excellent, the belly pork was my favourite. I look foward to going again in the next few weeks

Went for a birthday as a group of 4. Real good mix of food for 4 people we purchased 8 dishes. Nice new decor also. Will be coming again. Only slight criticism was that some of the food seemed quite sweet might have been our choices but it was still delicious however.

We went to the Chef for a birthday with family and friends. Your order was not fully met and the menu had a few strange choices. Not sure it was good value for money.

We have been going to the Frustrated Chef since it opened and normally love the place, last time we went we thought the food came a bit quick, this time it was ridiculous, we only ordered 5 dishes initially and bread, but they were all on the table, within 5mins with the bread being the last to arrive! It made Macdonalds look slow!There was a big group in with kids running around and crawling round the floor which also made it tricky for staff working I assume it's because the place is now so popular but for me it feels like it has lost the ambience that made it feel special.

It was my daughters 17th Birthday, she asked to go as she missed out when my wife and I had been a few months earlier. We thought it was very good the first time but this time it was better. I think they weee too busy the first time but this time it was just right. Great service and fab food, we had 3 if the specials and 5 more dishes which was the correct quantity for the 3 of us.A great night we will be back again soon.Thanks

I have visited this resteraunt quite a few times and every time I have been extremely impressed! The menu is diverse, consisting of a veriety of tapas dishes, ranging from meat to fish to vegetarian. The last time I visited with two friends and we shared a variety of dishes. Even though it was fairly expensive,we felt it was worth it because we were very pleased with our food and felt that we had a good amount

Excellent food and excellent service by Poppy. Definitely go back again. I choose 3 vegetarian options , cauliflour fritters roast parsnips and haloumi. Favourite was cauliflour fritters. Desert was parfait which also excellent (although I prefer savoury to sweet).

Went here for the first time although the decor was a little old and the tables were very cramped as in we couldn't freely get out the food was lovely as were the cocktails Will deffo return

This has to be our favourite local Tapas restaurant, as usual the food is excellent and the portions are above average size for a Tapas restaurant, we usually have to book well in advance but managed to book a table for Wednesday night at short notice, the staff are very attentive and friendly, lost count of how many times we have been here, Quality food, will definitely be returning again and again,

Advised we made an appointment weeks pryor for our lunch. The first to arrive we where seated at an uncomfortable table and ditto chairs. Ordered a bottle of wine, while chatting away we flipped through the menu too. After one minute the waitress asked if we made a choice, so we asked to give us 10 minutes more. So after one minute she was there again. We decided to start with some bread and if the music could be less loud, we are the only ones there.....she would try but could not garantee if it would make any difference. Food came and was fine. Halfway the waitress asked if everything was okay, since this was the case she stared clearing the plates......there were heaps of foof for us still to taste and eat. She did not appriciated when I asked her to leave all for a while and hey bring another bottle, by then it was 01.00 P.M. To be honest I thing she wanted to hurry all up so we could get out of those terrible seats.

We visited for lunch. It was our fist visit. The service was fast and friendly. We ordered from the set lunch menu. We really enjoyed our food and we will definitely visit again.

i was taking my friend out for lunch as a birthday treat. I did not book but we went on the off chance hoping to get a table, luckily we got in as usual the food was awesome, the service was brilliant. The dessert I had was one of the best I’ve ever had it was the hazelnut and chocolate cheeses cake it was served with a sorbet which was so delicious, I actually preferred that to having either cream or ice cream. There was that much food between us I ended up bringing two takeaway cartons of it home so I got to enjoy the awesome food a couple more times over the next day or so, it still tasted amazing even though it had been reheated in the microwave. This was the third time I have eaten here, each time was great . I can categorically say with ease that I would most definitely RECOMMEND this restaurant.

All I can say is wonderful food, highly recommend. The ham hock patato croquettes were amazing. The waitress were lovely and the beer was great.

Great value lunch with choices for everyone. Rather a lot of fried food. Would be nice to see more vegetables on the menu. The two salads I had were very good though. Not a lot of vegan options but the staff, very friendly, are helpful adapting dishes for you. Will definitely revisit.

Very noisy as four of us couldn't hear each other talk as next to a table with lots of children. Food very average. Wouldn't go again.

The frustrated chef has been open quite a while now and for some reason we have never been until last week despite hearing very good reviews.7.30 on a Saturday night was quite busy from what we could see however despite that we were seated promptly and the drinks order was taken quicklt too.We asked how many dishes per peson would they recomend and were told 2 to 3, we ordered 5 to share plus a starter of breads Our food arrived dish by dish with a brief explanation of each one. One slight criticism was that our starter of Breads came out 3rd !!!.However all the food was exceptional and very well presented, I look forward to trying again.Thanks

Have visited a number of times, with family and also with larger party (reading group). Very pleased with the food: "international tapas" - varied and interesting, reasonably priced and suitable for those like us with smaller appetites. The only downside I've found was with the billing when our large party was given separate bills for the two 'halves' of the party, which made dividing the bill very difficult.

Visited last night with my partner, used to come at least once a month but last few times felt food wasnt as good as it was when we first used to go, a few friends went a few weeks ago and said it was a lit better so we thought we go again, very impressed with the food the cauliflower fritters in satay and the Korean chicken is to die for, we will defo be back, the only criticism is we could have brought a hell of a lot more drink than just one drink each but no one bothered to ask us if we were ok or if food was ok, waitresses were hanging around the bar talking to each other, this isn't an isolated incident as we have had this before here, we tried on numerous occasions to grab there attention when walking by, did also take 40mins to clear tables from main course then got asked " is that it or do you want something else ??? Not " was everything ok and would you like to see the desert menu" faultless food, poor service

Booked a table for 6.30,glad we did it was very busy.The waitress showed us to the table brought the menu"s.and the wine list.Good selection on both.Had the specials menu too ordered 2 off this,prawns wrapped in palma ham and goat cheese parcel with chilli dip,So tasty ,A fish and a duck one off the other .All served on nice little dishes.Lovely.The waitress were very nice and worked hard keeping all the tables tidy.Would deffo go back,we both enjoyed it.

Wedding Anniversary meal for 2 before watching Downton Abbey (how very rock n roll).The meal was as per usual superb, service both attentive and helpful.We tried a couple of the specials which are pictures such as the sesame seed topped salmon and the pulled pork balls, both amazing.Obviously we had the bread and balsamic vinegar to start, with Paprika fries and Mexican potatoes as we always do they are perfect all the time.The venue is seconds from a tram stop on the High Road so very accessible, car park although small across the road.We love coming here and if you've never been then try it and I'm sure you will love it to!

We enjoyed a very delicious lunch on my birthday. Each of us chose a starter and two items from the mains list which we could share except for the calamari. My daughter is a vegetarian. She recommended this restaurant to us and we will certainly go back!

We came here for a birthday lunch for my husbands 40th as I had been before with friends and really enjoyed it. We walked in and rather than being shown to our table one of the waitresses pointed too it, leaving us a little confused as to which is was! Just a small thing but it hardly felt like a warm welcome. We ordered and our food came out just a few minutes later, good if you want speedy service but not so much if you want to enjoy a leisurely lunch. The waitress brought over the dishes including a portion of bread and balsamic vinegar with olive oil. She accidentally spilt the oil and balsamic all over me. Literally all over me, in my hair, all down my dress from top to bottom, and all over my arm. But as I said it was an accident, and she apologised, so I headed off to the ladies.I had to stick my hair under the tap as I was coated with the oil/balsamic, and try and get the brown stains out of my dress. I wasn't too happy because we were going out elsewhere after to continue the celebrations for the birthday, and I had made an effort with it being a birthday. I managed to clean up as best I could, but still had brown stains down my dress, and now half a head of wet hair. I went back to the table where we enjoyed the food and finished the drinks. The waitress was still at the table when I returned and said she was happy to pay the dry cleaning which was kind, but I replied the dress was probably ruined. After this no one returned to the table, not to check how the food was, to ask if we want more drinks, or pudding etc. It felt like they were avoiding us completely. And it wasn't like the place was busy either, there were only three other occupied tables. So we finished the meal and asked for the bill. The bill was brought over with no further mention of the incident. I felt disappointed that we had been given the cold shoulder since the incident, the meal felt rushed, we were pretty much ignored by staff afterwards, we hadn't been asked if we wanted to order more dishes, drinks, coffees or anything. When the other waitress brought over the bill, which did have the two drinks taken off, I can only guess this was an apology for the spillage as it wasn't mentioned, I explained that we were out for my husbands 40th and I was a bit sad that the shine had been taken off it due to the spillage and that our day would be cut short due to having to go home and change to avoid walking around in a stained dress...to which she replied "well she's apologised" in a defensive manner. I replied "yes I know but it was a little half hearted" as I would have expected some acknowledgement or apology later, asking how the meal was, or maybe asking if I'd manage to get the stains out etc, to which she replied "well what do you expect me to do about it" in a rude manner. We left with no goodbye or thanks from the staff.... It was all just very cold and flat. We were in and out in an hour. I understand accidents happen but this wasn't a little spillage, it was in my hair, everywhere!!!! I was mortified and really upset but tried to save face to ensure my husband enjoyed the rest of his birthday meal. I appriciate they gave us the drinks, but there was not one nice word spoken after the incident, and we were made to feel awkward and unwelcome. Perhaps the waitress was embarrassed but we were still customers who deserved to be treated as such. I really enjoyed eating here before but I wouldn't return again now, despite the fact the food is really lovely, so it's a shame. We went to the new place next door, the flour brewer for a drink instead where we were made to feel really welcome.

The food was amazing, well presented and delicious. We ordered 2/3 dishes each with some extra sides and we all shared and tried each other's meals. There was more than enough food and we all left satisfied and happy. The staff were also extremely friendly and happy. Would absolutely recommend this place and already have done!

Food was very sweet and wet with an over use of paprika. Food came out all over the place, starting with a dish of cauliflower fritters (a bowl of cauliflower) even though we ordered bread and olives to start. We couldn't eat desert as the mains were so sickly... However, the atmosphere was nice and the wine tasty. The service was quite rude and I felt, inexperienced.

Stopped here on my way home and was very pleased I did Tapas place but with a wider offering than standard tapas. Ingredients excellent and cook beautifully. I would highly recommend it for anyone that loves tapas or wants something slightly different Fab meal !

Been here a few times now and will keep going back. Superb 'tapas' style food - some regulars but they also have specials which change regularly. The mussels in cream sauce are unbelievable and probably the best I've eaten. Also, you HAVE to have the asian slaw - OMG!!! Fantastic all round including service, I can't recommend highly enough. One slight problem is that it is now so popular you have to book well in advance.

Staff were very friendly. Did not rush us but were available to help us make menu choices. Food looked attractive and tasted great. Great atmosphere. Couldn't fault it.

Went last night for my youngest 21st, tapas was amazing, full of flavour and reasonable sized portions. A lot different to your regular tapas restaurant in a very good way. Best to book as it always seems busy. Definitely will be back, highly recommended.

Having been let down by a different restaurant in Sat we went here at the last minute. I am pleased to say the whole experience was superb. Lovely service and excellent food. The prawns, the cod and the meatballs were all lovely plus the Asian slaw. We all had the chocolate torte as well with a glass of vintage sherry which was a lush way to end the meal. Highly recommended.

Ate at this restaurant last Saturday evening and have to say that it was one of the best meals I've ever had, including many of the eating houses I've frequented in London. Really high quality ingredients all cooked extremely well. Perhaps they might add a few more craft beer and lager to their drinks selection, though? Overall fantastic.

Visited at lunch time with friends who had been before and highly recommended. It didnt disappoint! If you think tapas is Spanish food in very small portions then think again. The Frustrated Chef food can take you on a journey from Britain to Europe to far east, South America and back again. Lots of choice for carnivores, vegetarians and vegans alike. There are no starters and mains as such, you make your choice and the food comes when its ready but service is quite quick. Its ideal to go with friends and share. The portions are generous by tapas standards, we struggled to eat everything! The lunch menu is very good value at £11.95 for three dishes. Between us we had paprika frites, bread and oil, Mexican potatoes, meatballs, lemongrass chicken and crispy cod. We all tried everything and enjoyed every flavour. To say it was lunchtime on a Tuesday the restaurant was quite full which added to the ambience. Looking forward to going again to try other nice sounding items from the menu.

Ideal for snacks with a glass of wine or a full blown meal. If going for dinner I suggest going early as with wooden floors, lowish ceiling it can get very noisy and busy.

Went here for lunch. Nice clean decoration giving an airy atmosphere. Sat at the small bar for a beer and a glass of wine whilst we perused the menu. Opted for the lunch menu and ordered the paprika fries (fine but homemade?), crispy cod (badly under seasoned), tandoori prawns (very nice), breaded halloumi (didn’t try but didn’t enthuse my companion apart from the sweet potato and cinnamon dip), Lemongrass chicken (a tad tough and a chopped tomato and spring onion topping is not a creole salsa).I don’t like to decry local independent restaurants but I did feel that the menu was writing cheques that the kitchen couldn’t cash. The place gets lots of good reviews so maybe it’s just me...so, perhaps best to try it for yourself.

Good tapas is lovely when you find it. Bad tapas is really depressing. The Frustrated Chef is definitely in the former group.Stopped in for the lunchtime menu today. Very speedy service and turnaround- all done in 45 mins, with door arriving within 10 mins- perfect for lunch. Portions are a good size- two tapas and a side per person, is plenty. The flavour combinations work surprisingly well.Asian slaw was delicious. Crunchy and sweet. Beetroot and feta salad similarly tangy and well worth ordering. Thai (?) chicken was a big portion and good eating too. At just under £12 a head for lunch, it was very good value. Overall this place is better than anything West Bridgford has to offer at the moment, for example.

Second lunch visit, with three generation group. We ordered a selection, based on the 1+2 Lunch selection & everything was to an excellent standard. A full meal, not nibbles with drinks tapas.Would be 5 star if the website booking worked! Oh my this is my new favourite!! The food here is absolutely delicious. There was three of us. We shared about 8 dishes, memorable were cauliflower fritters (10/10) Asian slaw (yum yum) Japanese crispy chicken thing (amazing). Already planning when I can come back!!

We arrived on a Friday evening (pre-booking essential) to find the restaurant busy with a good atmosphere.Our intention was to order one tapas each to start with and then order a second one afterwards. But after sharing the delicious meatballs and the salmon and cod fritters, accompanied by a large basket of bread with balsamic vinegar, we felt adequately full.Service was extremely friendly, the food was fresh and hot and there was a good selection of wines by the glass or the bottle, prices were reasonable.We will return for certain to try more of the menu.

Delicious food in simple surroundings. Fresh, hot and beautifully tasty food. Particularly recommend the Asian slaw, frites, cod, haloumi and the salmon patties. 2-3 dishes per person is plenty. Booking is advisable as this little gem of a place was packed all evening!

Great food especially the cauliflower from the vegetarian section. They suggest 2-3 dishes per person but really 6 plates for people is more than enough food. Every dish we ordered was delicious.

I’d heard a lot of good things about this restaurant and was excited to try it out for myself.My friend and I ordered 3 dishes each, as per the recommendation of our waiter. We had a complete mix across the whole menu and there wasn’t one thing I could say we didn’t enjoy. The only thing was that the portions are HUGE. We had so much left over and there isn’t an option to take anything home. I personally hate waste so I’d suggest ordering 2 dishes per person. You’ll leave feeling stuffed! We had:- Cauliflower fritters (omg delish... I will be having these again!)- Mushroom, tarragon and walnut croquettes- Lemon cous cous with baby tomatoes, olives and rocket pesto (huge portion - could feed 4 people)- Calamari with lime and smoked aioli (freshly made - no fake ready bought rings)- Teriyaki salmon with asian slaw (salmon was amazing, I personally didn’t like the slaw but my friend did)-Japanese fried chicken with wasabi mayonnaise (really tasty but some bits were a bit over cooked/dry... but would order again) I cannot wait to return and have already booked a table for a work girls outing.

A visit to this cheerful restaurant with family members. We shared 9 different tapas plates - all delicious. I was particularly pleased that there was a variety of fish dishes as it was Good Friday! We all enjoyed the meal as was evidenced by the empty plates.

Me and 3 friends visited this restaurant on a Wednesday evening the place was busy but not too busy, the music was at a perfect level so you could have conversation without yelling to each other, we had a great table near the window the food was delicious, the portions are huge and fantastically cooked. I cannot fault this place I would definitely recommend this place. You will not be disappointed.

Came here for a birthday meal and it was absolutely delicious! Great value too as the good are a good size. We have 5 dishes plus drinks for just £38. Highly recommend the roasted vegetables and goats cheese. Booking early is essential. Will definitely be visiting again.

Welcomed at the door by cheerful staff was a good start,then when we where a little unsure of what to order,they where happy to do it for us.We asked for 4 of each dishes from the Meat,fish and vegetarian menu and left it to them.The food arrived at nice intervals,each dish was described in detail and all where delicious,the staff again where polite,knowledgable and enthusiastic.Great atmosphere,we had the table in the window and it was fun watching the world go by outside,all in all a superb evening out,fantastic food and plenty of it,wine that did not break the bank and people who made you feel welcome and appreciated as customers.We had more food than we could eat,we had a bottle of wine and the four of us paid just under £25 a head,fantastic value.We will be back and would encourage you to visit.

This place came highly recommended so we were very excited to try it out! All I can say is this place is delicious, my partner and I had 6 dishes between and it was far too much we couldn’t finish it all. Portions are great, it was all very tasty, pleasant waitresses and quick service. I was unhappy with one of the dishes, Mexican potatoes but they replaced it no problems. We will definitely return.

Nice food but very cold and chilly in the restaurant, my friend kept her coat on for the whole meal. We mentioned to the waitress how cold it felt and she agreed with us but not heating was out on. Nice food but nothing amazing.

We were advised to order 3 dishes each.Bad points - table near the back towards the toilets not comfortable felt penned in almost like the chairs didn’t fit under the table we were all saying it was a tight fit. Personally I prefer a nice window seat. My fault though as I didn’t specify.Flat lemonade which I took back and was still charged for until I mentioned it still being on the bill - it was taken off. We had a lot of food left over and noticed some people had theirs boxed up should you wish to. Menu was different to what was stated online, Overall we had a nice evening and I’m sure this place will only get better & better.

We were a wee bit concerned as it was my daughter who recommended the restaurant and it was a speciality place, We could not have been more pleasantly surprised. EXCELLENT menu with a wide choice of dishes at VERY fair prices. SERVICE was excellent

Visited last night with family and had a wonderful evening. A table of 4 we ordered 10 dishes and all the food was thoroughly delicious. We were well looked after and the manager was very friendly and welcoming. There is a warm relaxed atmosphere and we stayed a couple of hours and didn’t feel rushed or pressured to leave. It’s great to see a local business do so well, well done Frustrated Chef Really looking forward to coming back soon

I have no complaints about the food except it all was plonked on the table nearly simultaneously.This is a tapaz restaurant and our party of 4 were advised to order 3 dishes each. We ordered 11. We expected a slowish delivery with time to differentiate the dishes. Instead one appeared followed almost immediately by 6 more, a gap of about 2 minutes then 3 more. As almost every dish was hot it was impossible to enjoy them. They did manage to take 15 minutes to bring a screwtop bottle of wine which arrived after we had finished.As I said the food was fine but completely ruined by having to eat it far too quickly.This was a Wednesday night so no requirement to make table available for new customers.

Came here on Valentine’s Day and left very happy. Despite being busy the service was friendly and attentive. All the food was really good I particularly Liked the salmon dish.

Heard a lot of good reports about the place. Food was lovely, but didn’t like the service. For example when we arrived at the table there was a notice on the table advising ‘thank you for your custom etc but we need you to leave by 930pm’Found this very off putting! Also the young waitress was very pushy and constantly at the table asking if we had finished or could clear any plates. Found this intrusive and rude. There wasn’t a lot of atmosphere either

Good food but poor management and a failure to reply to emails. My partner booked a birthday meal for 10 people by phone for Tuesday 5th Feb (Mrs Dunstan). Followed up with an online enquiry form and two further phone calls to discuss the menu. On arrival, on Tuesday, we were told that they had not booked! Luckily it was a quiet night, so after much indecision they were prepared a table. The manager, although apologetic, admitted that he did not have any authority to offer any recompense. After much prompting, he gifted a bottle of wine, between 10! He stated that he would speak with the owner, who would be in contact. This has NOT happened! We feel they presently have such demand that they do not need to deliver a good customer service. A shame as this was one of our favourite places to eat. Spoiled by its own success.

A trendy restaurant with a really nice friendly atmosphere. On offer is a comprehensive menu selection of tapas type dishes including vegetarian, fish and meat from around the world. There are also daily specials and some really nice desserts if you leave room. To accompany the food is a nice choice of reasonably priced of wines. Dependant on how hungry you are I suggest you take advice on the number of dishes you select. The dishes are more generous than typical Spanish tapas. A very pleasant experience left us planning our next visit.

Really delicious food and lovely service. Looking forward to booking in for one of the special menu evenings! Great place for a casual lunch all the way to a celebration dinner.

Heard the place did good food so dropped in for lunch (Xmas present from eldest son and family). Great food - especially the Korean pork belly - friendly and swift service. Will visit again. Thanks for the experience!

Family celebration - and first time here even though the kids live locally. Lovely evening and great food. Everything on the menu was tempting and between us we sampled a fair few dishes. Waitress suggested 3 dishes each. Portion size enormous so we could easily have ordered less! Puddings yum too. Good atmosphere, highly recommended.

Family visit on Saturday for a lunchtime treatGood service and great food HOWEVER disgusted at the cost of soft drinks.6 x Pepsi ordered - received 6 x 1/2 pints at a cost of £15.00.....£2.50 each. £15.00!!! Absolutely shocking and appalled....and served from a 2 litre plastic bottle so wasn't very fizzy either. I don't know how anyone can ever justify that price. We won't be back.

A real treat , and so different . Food was excellent the staff are great , nice to be in a place that you are not rushed .

I have been here loads of times, I don’t know why I haven’t reviewed it before. I last went in November and am catching up on my reviews but if you went in November, if you went tomorrow, it would be the same excellent food.A couple of dishes we always have are the beetroot and feta cheese salad which although changes slightly, is a regular on the menu as are the patats bravas equivalent. We also always have the gambas which I always describe as being the size of you hands- I have not come across prawns this size in this country and they are always that big at the Frustrated Chef. We also had the fried halloumi, the cod bites and the smoked salmon crostini. I have never had a bad dish here, the food is cooked really well and the ingredients are lovely and fresh. The portions are a good size. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated and the staff are friendly and the service good. I am sure I will continue to visit here.

Excellent tapas and service here in this little gem in Beeston / Chilwell. Between the two of us we had 6-7 courses and all were cooked delightfully and the portions were just right. I would definitely recommend this tapas restaurant. Perhaps a bigger selection of beers would be the only improvement I can think of. Also a plus is the reasonable price range of the courses. Will definitely return.

We hadn’t been before and booked (via email) based on a trip advisor search of local restaurants. It has a warm ambience and the staff are friendly but the real star is the food! The lunch menu had a lot of the best bits of the evening menu and, as recommended, we ordered a side and two main dishes each. The food came quickly and there was more than enough. Each dish was presented well and was absolutely delicious. The only tricky part is trying to choose the dishes as they all sound great. It was excellent value for money and easily as good as tapas restaurants in the City Centre and there is a public car park across the road. This place is a real gem and we’ll definitely be back in the new year.

We went for our anniversary I emailed and booked a table all very easy. The restaurant was full when we arrived so we had a drink at the bar and then were taken to our table the whole night was great the food the drinks and the service were exceptional we asked the waitress for some recommendations she talked us through several and we picked my favourite was the Korean pork and the honey roasted veg we will defiantly be back

Thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant. Relaxed friendly environment and excellent service. Their lunch menu was excellent value and all the food was delicious. Will definitely return.

Had a mid week dinner here with friends- excellent range of tapas at good prices and great portions to share as well - worth a visit.

Great selection of dishes, really tasty. Have been twice now and would recommend and would definitely re-visit.
