We fancied greek food and we got it! Food is fresh and super tasty.

Had a wonderful time the food was 10/10 the staff was lovely aswell will be coming again

Thought to give this place a go again since its renovations. For starters we had the Taramosalata (£6.50, greek dip with pita) and Pitaroudia (£7.50, chickpea fritter with hummus). Both were delicious, almost as if from Greece itself! Had to order more pita for the dip (£1.10). For mains we had the Greek moussaka (£17.80) and chicken souvlaki (£17.90). Chicken seasoned well, flavourful and not dry. The moussaka was really tasted, seasoned well again. Decent portion sizes. Restaurant is on the pricey side, so this would only be an occasional treat.

Fantastic little find. Lovely family run business. Really welcoming people. Felt like I was sat in their home. Highly rexommended.

If you haven't been here yet... then best book it now. Great service, great food, made to feel like you in a greek taverna but posh one.. we will be back again & again if it stays as good as it is.. ps don't do 4 courses bit too much but worth it..

If you want to feel that you are in Greece then Kellari is the place to be. You are made to feel so welcome by all the people that work there, the food is outstanding and so flavoursome, it is a truly family run business, with the feeling of family love.

Ate here for the first time last night. Opted for the meat mezze. Wow, make sure you arrive hungry, the portions were incredible and the food was amazing. The staff were brilliant and even when we went a little off piste from the drinks menu they came up trumps. The halloumi in honey was melt in the mouth good and the baklavas topped off a great night. Thanks for a great evening

Wow! This is a hidden gem. Fanastic menu, great food. Chicken souvlaki is one of the best I have tasted. Great presentation and service. Definately recommend and will be re-visting.

Good food and friendly attentive service. Typical range of Greek dishes with some options for dietary restrictions (gf, v). Prices reasonable although the usual high mark up on wine.

I absolutely enjoyed the experience in dining at Kellari. We ordered a bunch of starters and really loved the stuffed mushrooms with halloumi, alongside warm pita breads with fresh dips . Our main was imam bayildi, really well cooked aubergine with onion, garlic and tomato! With a warm sauce added at base. Desserts were perfect way to end the meal with. What I liked was honey/syrup on the side, I personally do not like too sweet desserts and it gave you option to add if you preferred it! We were looked after throughout our dinner and really enjoyed the taste and ambience 💙

So good. And absolutely packed so obviously a hidden gem. Really enjoyed our night here

We had a weekend lunch at Kellari, and really enjoyed our meal. Great service. Calamari, greek salad, tzatziki with pita, and chicken souvlaki were all excellent. The chips, which accompanied the main, were verging on the over salted for me, but that could just be a personal taste thing. Would definitely go again.

Had a meal late lunchtime on a Sunday when the restaurant was very quiet. Staff were lovely, super friendly and laid back. Meals were so tasty. I'm not vegetarian but went for the veggy moussaka after an unhealthy weekend and was blown away by how good it was. Will find an excuse to be out this way next time im in Nottingham.

Absolutely unbelievable gem in the heart of Beeston. So glad we found it! The staff are wonderful, the food is divine and the vibe is so relaxing I thought I was on holiday. The reviews speak for themselves. Great authentic Greek homecooked food in a gorgeous setting. We plan to come back and try everything on the menu. Very good food; however the seating plan leaves some sitting in a thoroughfare and in very close proximity to other tables. We had to retain our cutlery between courses and the main arrived without the starter plates having been cleared. My main course wasn't the option I had chosen from the menu but was very good all the same. I felt we were pressured to order quickly and then waited an hour for the starter to arrive and one member of the front of house staff was abrasive. Overall not a rewarding dining experience, lacking in atmosphere and without a customer service ethos which let down some good Greek food.

Delicious food as you would expect to find in a traditional Greek taverna. As a Greek national I feel very happy that this restaurant does justice to our traditional cuisine. The dishes we ordered were super tasty and well seasoned. Kleftiko was the star of the show, as well as the Moussaka, but please do not miss out on the dessert! The Galaktoboureko and Baclava with ice cream were exceptionally good. Miss Kassiani was friendly and looked after us really well. We will be going back. Highly recommended!!!!

It was a nice meal, but the lady who was serviced us kept saying why are we ordering so much food, like i did not expect that at all, it was so wrong for her to say that, i felt really uncomfortable

From a warm welcome to outstanding food, our party of 7 had an excellent experience. Food was delicious, perfectly seasoned and great quality. Thoroughly recommend.

Brilliant friendly service, with really tasty dishes, the Mezze was amazing.

The food is delicious, best Greek food I've had outside of Greece, no other words to describe it. The white washed walls really do make you feel like you're in a little bit of Greece. You can either have a mezze or a coherent whole plate main meal depending on what takes your fancy. The vegetarian options are great, and meaty party members commented it was the best souvlaki they'd ever had. Service is has been good on 3/4 occasions, I feel bad updating the review but our experience last night was really bad and I wanted to highlight it. I'd recommended it to my friend after my other great experiences so, we arrived at 8 having made a reservation and were given a choice of table so all was fine thus far. Then about 5 mins in the owner came over and explained that they had a booking that hadn't turned up yet and were late so she might need to move us. I think moving customers who you already allowed to choose their table is a bit rude but whatever. Us moving was dependent on another 2 people leaving and they took their sweet time as they were entitled. And the other people never turned up. 40 minutes passed and we hadn't even been offered to choose drinks yet and we basically had to beg for service. We didn't get any food until over an hour after we arrived. We said it wasn't fair and they were entitled to say we can only hold a table for so long if you're late but she told us she didn't want to turn away customers. What about neglecting the ones that are already there? Basically felt snubbed because we were a smaller table size even though we actually bothered to show up on time. No proper apology or anything so I just didn't tip, which I felt bad about, but I think it soured my friend's perception of the place. The food was as always really good but that can't make up for everything. Had it been my first visit I probably wouldn't have returned.

Fabulous restaurant, lovely ambience, very cosy and relaxing, reminded me of sunny nights abroad, even on a cold rainy evening, in Beeston. Greeted by a lady I assumed was the owner and she was very friendly and clearly proud of her restaurant. Which she should be, the food was absolutely delicious, excellent choice and quality and cooked beautifully. The portions were really generous, we were a party of two ladies and couldn’t manage it all but were given a take out box and bag, which was a lovely touch. Wine choice was excellent and the service was attentive and friendly. Price wise very reasonable. Very pleased to have such a lovely restaurant in Beeston and will be back !!

Amazing experience we had! The staff were extremely hospitable. Service was fantastic and even better food!! Really authentic Greek food full of flavour and exceptionally presented. Finally a proper Greek restaurant opens in Nottingham. From the mains I recommend the ‘kleftiko gourmet ‘ and the ‘wild filet seabass’ and of course the ‘melitzanosalata’ dip that was unbelievable. Will definitely come back !

Amazing food and service. Incredibly beautiful, authentic Greek dishes. The waitress was very friendly and empathetic since the sun was too strong shining through the glass walls of the restaurant, and she took a photo to show to her boss that they seriously need blinds to make it comfortable for the guests when it's a highly sunny day. I recommend this place and would return any time :)

Came in for a Pork Gyros - did not expect to have the best gyros of my life! Absolutely everything was done to perfection. Incredible flavours on the meat and tzatziki, chips were perfect, great portion size and a reasonable price too. Highly recommended

Booked a table for 4 online which was quick and easy, ordered the Mezze for two x 2 and was not disappointed. Food was delicious, hot, tasty and filling. Decor was lovely, bright and clean. The lady who served us throughout the evening was very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely visit again and recommend to friends and family.

A group of 9 of us recently dined here on a Saturday evening. I opted for the lamb shank and my partner the moussaka. The lamb shank was "ok", but the moussaka very dry and slightly disappointing. Sadly, the service wasn't great either. None of the staff appeared to know what was going on; particularly ordered and receiving drinks, and basic things like getting water glasses and top up table water. After reading such good reviews we did feel slightly underwhelmed. Overall an "ok" place to dine.

We have tasted Greek food in various countries across two continents and the tastiest food we found in Hittfeld, Germany 🇩🇪 but Kellari Beeston is half a step closer to being second best :) The lovely young lady that greeted us on entering is full of energy and superbly welcoming, helpful. Kellari Restaurant, Beeston is so nicely decorated in Greek colour patterns and the Chicken Gyros x2 tonight were exceptionally fantastic. FIVE + STARS ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

A lovely new restaurant with authentic Greek decor, food and music. The attention to detail is amazing and you can tell that the family is so invested in making the whole experience of dining at their restaurant unforgettable! Service was incredibly prompt, helpful and friendly, we were given delicious starters on the house and the mains were generous and flavourful. Cannot recommend this spot enough!

Nowadays you never get more than you hoped for, but this time, it was much more!!! Great atmosphere, lovely traditional music, and a huge choice of dishes. We thoroughly recommend Kellari for a traditional, homely Greek dining experience!!
