Good service great food and not a hefty price. Been here twice and I’ll definitely be going again. Food was beautifully presented and tasty. It’s not often you get such consistent service and food in my experience these days. If you haven’t already it’s definitely one to try.

Superb Turkish restuarant , super food and friendly staff , highly recommended . A great experience and must be one of the best restuarants in Nottingham.

Excellent service and great food cooked freshly. Great fresh warm bread and complimentary starter followed by vine leaves,calamari and a meat platter for two.

Came here for a family get together so we were a large table. The food and service as always was superb! This place never disappoints. Lots of starters ordered and various shishs, salads etc. All delicious, service friendly and attentive & prompt We did ask for slimline / diet tonic water & was told they did t have it but we were served slimline tonic, which was great so maybe a language barrier.

Called in tonight on the off chance and we weren't disappointed. The restaurant is spotless and you can see the food being cooked which is always a bonus. All the staff we met were really friendly and helpful. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. We will be back!

Great service and lovely food. Freshly cooked and perfect portions. The bread, dips and olives on arrival were a lovely touch

We took our family for a celebration, with two small grandchildren. I had asked if it might be possible to be seated in the private room (banquetting room upstairs from the main restaurant) in case the little ones had difficulty sitting still, and this is what they provided. The service was excellent, very friendly, helpful and speedy. The food was extremely good, and the whole experience was without fault. We were all able to walk to this restaurant, which makes an even better experience.

My partner and I always come here for the grill. You can see the chef and kitchen staff hard at work, preparing your meal fresh. It makes for good viewing and helps your appetite. Their meze selections are also a treat, we especially like the mutabel, imam biyaldi & hummus. My go-to is the lamb kofte or mixed chicken, it comes with a generous portion of rice and salad, the meat itself is a good amount too! And if you really want to go traditional, have your meal with ayran, a Turkish national drink. Turkish tea is served after, on the house, a nice finish to the meal. Sometimes they have Turkish delight too, but not always. One of the top features of this restaurant: Freshly made Bread. On the House. With dips & olives. Every time. Afiyet olsun!

Amazing food, amazing customer service. All around excellent experience. I chose a cold starter with aubergines which was delicious. Same for the main (mixed kebabs), which came with ice and extra salad which was amazing. Very generous portions too (the starter could have been a whole meal of its own! 😅), would recommend this place to anyone, it’s really good.

hard to give a score for this place as the food is superb but on our two visits the organisation / service was shambolic, Only two starters out of three arrived and were finished before the third arrived, then only two of the mains turned up and when the third did arrive it was wrong. On the visit before mains arrived before starters. The staff are very friendly and were very apologetic (a good chunk was knocked off the bill). Great food but you have to fight for it

Difficult to decide how many stars. Service and food were initially 4 or 5 stars, but then it went downhill. We wanted dessert, thinking it would be as good as mains but it wasn't offered. Asked for dessert menu but then were effectively abandoned. So fed up we just decided not worth it and asked for bill. Disabled toilet door extremely hard to lock, no hook on door (we use bags like everyone else) and no working bin (a must for disabled toilets). Final nail in coffin - don't put a tip on the bill as staff don't receive it. Shame on you Turquoise owner!

I have been to this restaurant before with my partner and had recommended it to friends. One of these friends had decided to have a surprise party here for his wifes birthday. However, he soon regretted this. She had the halloumi to start which came with a tiny amount of salad but 5 strips of deep friend (and fatty) halloumi, followed by the mixed kebab. Other people obviously had varying items from the menu, some were nice, others weren't, and some of the presentation was atrocious, so much so, I took a photo of my friends £18 main course, as it landed on the table - shocking! Won't be going back.

Food here is immaculate. So so tasty and lovely staff. So lucky to have this on my doorstep. I've collected my orders before for takeaway and was equally lovely and packed well. Beautiful

To make sure evryone could be there , We booked a table for 3-00 Sunday afternoon . The restaurant was very busy , As it has always been when we have passed it . The Staff were all very friendly , and efficient . We ordered some drinks , which arrived quickly . The one that our granddaughter wanted , was not on the drinks list . So they found a bottle of the spirit and mixed her drink . We ordered our starters , which soon arrived . Along with some Turkish Bread , Olives and dips . This bread was constantly being replenished . Everyone said how much they had enjoyed their starters . As soon as we had finished the starters . The main courses arrived . Each one of us saying how nice the food was . Perfectly cooked . Ample sized portions . Some of the ladies , asking for food that they could not finish . To be boxed up for them . We were constanlty asked if everything was alright . The staff and in particular , the young man who was in charge . Were very attentive . They made it special for the birthday girl . Only two of us could eat a sweet . The others were full . I as well as two others , are Coffee drinkers . We had Turkish Coffee . Which now has to be one of my favourite Coffees . A thoughroughly enjoyable meal , and experience . It was a first visit for all of us . It will cretainly not be the last . The food and service , were so good .

Visited Turquoise restaurant in September for a friend's birthday, it was our first visit. On entering the restaurant I was quite surprised by the ambience and decor, really nice! Staff were attentive, the food was good, nicely presented and hot. I wouldn't say you got large portions for the amount you pay but the food was tasty. Would visit again.

Six of us enjoyed a wonderful birthday meal at Turquoise. It is not cheap but the quality and quality of the food makes it excellent value. The service was quick and efficient - we were all very impressed with the whole experience.

Outstanding service both in customer's service and presentation of various types of dishes and platters and a warm and comfortable surroundings fit for family couples and private functions. If u have tasted this yet get down there the food is mouthwatering your taste buds will get thrill indeed

Always looks popular. Visited this evening and wasn’t impressed. Veg mezze was dry and at £17.50/head not value for money. Chicken dishes and meatballs were good. Staff ok. Started cleaning away plates before the meal had finished. Over charged on the bill - they changed when we pointed this out. Decor pretty garish but looked better once it was evening.
