Was charged £2 for a glass of tap water with a sandwich. The food and service was good, but this ridiculous charge really ruined the experience for us.

We had sat down at a table as everything looked lovely. The treats in the window looked good and it looked like a great community based cafe. We were unfortunately asked to leave as we had out 16 year old dog with us. I think this policy is a great shame as she was quietly sat on the floor and it looked the kind of place that would welcome everybody.

This Deli and Cafe is remarkable for its very reasonable prices and wide range of tasty menu items. Sandwiches are made to order but there are pasties, sausage rolls and slices too. The most expensive item is a cooked breakfast at £5 but a smaller version is offered at £3.75. A choice of wonderful breads and cakes to accompany your meal. Brilliant value for money.

Visited today for lunch and was really impressed. We were greeted by a really nice lady in the pizza making area, had a chat with her while we waited for the waitress to show us to our table. She too was really lovely and very helpful. Food was fab, nice salad bar. Will be back!

Not the sort of language you expect on a review and most certainly not the language I expect from self confessed hungover bar staff as they fall in for their shift at midday, I would have been inclined to let the first f*** go as it was obvious the member of staff didn't realise there was a family with 2 children in the room and although not directed at us there was at least a moment of realisation and apology. HOWEVER, 2 s***s and a sciatica related f*** later and we were speechless. There is obviously a staff shortage as one of the rants was related to having to complete split shifts as the manager isn't willing to just pick one CV from the 20 he has and employ them on the spot with no interview or trial, I can only imagine that's how this particular member of staff got their job. James, you could try the barmans mate, apparently she is as keen as mustard, I would rather run a customer facing business short of staff than have customers endure this sort of behaviour. I won't name names but I'm sure James the manager can line up the sciatica comment or maybe even DNA test the lip stick marks on the window from the night before that they were so proud of, referring to them selves as a bunch of 'window lickers', appalling! I have a feeling this review may even be a badge of honour.

What a find we were staying at Ludlow Touring site and booked Sunday lunch at The Wheatsheaf . The pub was really welcoming warm and comfortable. We were two couples who went for Sunday lunch and we all agreed it was the best Sunday lunch we had had at a pub and really good value . The beef and lamb were really tender and there was a good selection of vegetables all cooked perfectly. The service was good and nothing too much trouble. Thank you for making our first visit a success
