Every time I go the staff are really friendly and the food is great

Had pizza and oh my god got to be the best pizza ever had, credit to the new management. We use to go Albrighton fish bar but this chippy has moved with the times. Chips are fresh and it’s cashless so no need to go co-op to get cash.

After hearing new owner had taken over i visited this takeaway on 4th December, The owner served me with kebab chips and also give me a free fish to try. The fish was cooked to perfection, chips tasted fantastic, Kebab come with fresh salad peppers cooked to perfection. Forget all reviews from previous owners, the new owner has turned this takeaway around.

since the new owners have taken over this place should be absolutely flying all the reviews don’t do it justice! the new owners have completely turned the place round friendly, good food and a free chocolate too will be going again

Ordered a medium pizza, received a 7inch pizza for £11.99. Best of all it wasn't cooked properly raw dough so straight in bin. Staff can't speak English, there was more food on the floor than in the counter. Absolutely never again!

I ordered large code.It was not large and the batter was really soft and soggy..The batter had separated from the fish and was hanging lloosely around it.Usually when I get this from here I get a large good size piece of fish and the batter is lovely and crispy.It appeared as if it might be a reheat from leftover lunchtime.Consider8ng what you pay and the fact that I have ordered from here several times, I would now have reservations about ordering f4om here again.

always a disappointment this place,never again!. I draw the line. ordered done r kebab, didn't get a pitta so became donor and greasy ass chips. mixed meat & chips with full salad arrived just donor chicken chippings and onion salad. it's like they have given up. rather have boiled the kettle and made a pot noodle. save your money 🤢🤢🤢

First visit and most definitely my last. Food was not very nice at all. Chips were fine, kebab meat was bone dry definitely not fresh and the fish was burned to a crisp. Wasted my money chasing to eat here.

Great food at fantastic prices.

The kebabs are up there with the best I've had over the years around the UK. Good portions and delicious. I've read previous reviews about rude staff. Yes, they're not very chatty, but if you make conversation, they are absolutely fine and polite. A big thumbs up from me. 👍

People who eat battered chips are weird.

The chips tasted of old fryer fat, which is actually a health risk. After frying with oil for over four hours it breaks down and becomes more carcinogenic over time. Fryer oil needs to be changed on a regular basis. I also tried a pizza with chilli base. I thought it would be like an arrabiata sauce which would be tomato with a mild chilli kick, but it was more like straight chilli hot sauce that made the pizza inedible, so after forcing myself to eat 2 or 3 slices it was in the trash.

Food quality was fine in general but we paid for a medium portion of chips and the bag was smaller than a small!!!

Used for the 1st time earlier, and it will be the last..... Fish was dry , chips , majority were like batter bits....shocking. If I hadn't have lived 4 miles away I would have took them back!!

Greasy, oily and will always use the other Chippy.

Food was inedible and went into the bin. It was that greasy that it had soaked through all of the paper. The kebab was fine. The fish, chips and battered sausage were dripping and inedible.

Chicken wings were burnt to a crisp. Chips were much the same. Kebab meat was good.

Threw it away. Roe far too greasy for me and the kebab was dry/ cold,hardly any meat for a large.it was the xmas light switch on in albrighton so im guessing they run out!Iv given the place a couple of chances because it's local but won't use again,always poor

The food was just so greasy that I could not eat it. Sad as this is usually a decent place to get a lazy snack. Think I stick to the pizza.

I attended rumbles tonight in Albrighton and I am sorry to report on the following. 1 the guy who served me could not be any ruder if he tried. 2 the food was cold, he throw the nan bread into the pizza oven for approx 5 seconds to cook it, I had to re heat the full meal when I got home. I will not attend again and ask everyone else to use the othe chip shop in Albrighton

Food turned up 20mins late i wasn't called on phone on arrival or receipt supplied as requested , fish was luke warm and chewy.. Chips anemic soaked in oil!!! Covered in batter.. Just awful.. Requested parcial money back on app,, told quite clearly a big no!! Discusting

I'm not from the area, however, if this is the best you cab get around here, I'd give up now. 30 Mins late, cold food, ignorant owners with chips extremely greasy, cucumber on kebab when asked not to. A disaster of a take away.

Food delivered quickly. The chips were a mixture (50/50) of nice fresh chips and what I would say were either old recooked chips or undercooked chips all mixed together. The lighter coloured chips tasted awful and we had to pick them out. The food is usually really nice here, but tonight's was a disappointment.

Food was 15 minutes later than what the app said it would be.. but this won’t allow me to put anything other than 5 minutes late…

Chips are running in grease the white paper that they are wrapped in was soaked in grease. Fish cakes burned they did replace after a phone call. Daughter has been sitting on the loo and feeling unwell after eating.Got my dog some nuggets which an hour later he has thrown up. We now all feel off, most of my food went in the bin after seeing the state of it. Won’t be ordering again, thought they would have got better after being closed by Shropshire council and told to improve? But no

Chicken way dry & chips Sausages and meat was cold! Very unhappy witht he order. Give this place chance after chance and it doesn't seem to get better.

Small cod dry and tasteless and covered with too much batter which was hard not crispy. Haddock was ok. Chips slightly soggy. Mushy peas thicker and more tasty than previous orders.

The food was covered in grease that soaked through the paper. We couldnt eat the chips as all you could taste was grease. This is the worst fish and chips i have ever eaten.

Most of the chips were just batter and no potato very hard very greasy and unable to eat, the kebab meat was hard with hardly any salad and sauce on... I highly doubt we will be ordering from here again as not very nice at all.

1st time used this takeaway. We will definitely be using again. Food hot, we all enjoyed our tea with granddaughter saying her pizza was amazing.

1hour and half wait to receive what I would call a heavy greasy tasteless waste, to have extra food thrown in a gesture of good will (I assume) I would have just appreciated a phone call to say running late instead of a delivery driver who got out the car out of breath like his ran a marathon in the car, I'm happy my son fell asleep waiting for his food so he didn't have to eat the pure disappointment I've just witnessed 👍

Pizza was slightly under cooked and greasy.

Used to be excellent, orange chips the works, now don't waste your money. Went down to a 1 star hygiene rating recently (now back up to 5). Chips are always underdone and raw in some cases (inedible), zero customer service. I treat my staff weekly to Fish and chip Friday, last Friday no one could eat their meal, all were really awful. I called to complain, the member of staff apologised and took my card details and said he'd refunded me (still no refund). Went in to enquire, met with a barrage of abuse from owner. Will never use this place again. No local Albrighton people use this place. Take my advice and use somewhere else.

As always excellent food, generous sizes and amount of topping and pleasant staff. I'm a regular customer as I know I'm getting good quality service and value for money.

They didn’t ring the doorbell. So didn’t hear them. We’d already waited 1.5 hrs

If you want your body purged and detoxed this is the place to go, after a meal here you will i guarantee be disinvested from all sustenancd in the next 12 hours or so, be sure to stay near a toilet, to fastrack this procedure opt for the house specialty the doner with chips, a unique and closer to god experiance

Food good, as always, but it came an hour and 20 minutes early. We could have still been out and certainly were not ready to eat at that earlier time. Disappointing.

Bought chips here tonight. Had to throw them away as they tasted awful. They tasted and smelled of rancid fat. The fryers need cleaning and the oil changing. Very very disappointed!!

Chips are mostly alright but some times can be very greasy. Main issue being the card machine always being offline and unable to be used.
